Glass House on the Sea is a spectacular beachfront, luxurious large corner unit condo with a clean, modern design. Glass House is the only unit in Sapphire Beach Resort without another building right next to and that gives you unrivaled privacy. The extra-large wrap around balcony with an additional set of slider doors and a window by the bed offers more space and light. Your front balcony is just 20 steps from the ocean, overlooking the Virgin Islands Archipelago while the side balcony overlooks our picturesque Marina. Glass House is perfect for couples, honeymooners and guests who appreciate privacy and higher end accommodations. Glass House has a constant breeze blowing from the ocean that gives you an option to cool the unit with just wind - just open the sliders! The second floor delivers better views and the privacy from anyone walking on the beach as well as the security to sleep with the sliding doors open to the breeze if you prefer that over the air conditioning. You can fall asleep hearing the waves crashing on the beach and wake up to the most beautiful sunrise you have ever seen with St. John and The British Virgin Islands framing your view. And in the morning, enjoying your coffee on your balcony will make you feel as you are floating on your own super yacht on the Caribbean Sea. You could not be any closer – you can smell the ocean air and hear the waves land on the beach. And, since the sun clocks around the building on the right side - it lets you indulge in the late afternoon light long after other units lose their sunlight. That means a longer day for sunbathing on the chaise lounge or enjoying your cocktail in a comfortable arm chair admiring the view and the beach.
The modern, yet cozy and inviting décor of the remodeled suite will provide you with the most comfort you would expect from any luxury accommodations. High-count linens and fluffy towels will only add to your indulgent stay. A fully equipped kitchen with new countertops, backsplash and full sized refrigerator/freezer, keurig K-Duo Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker (simply choose your favorite ground coffee or you favorite k cup pod), utensils and various glasses to suit your choice of libations will be at your disposal.
Stretch out and lounge on a comfortable, large, brand new sectional sofa while listening to the waves. Read a book or watch a movie on cable or stream free Netflix on a large flat screen TV - or enjoy free fiber Wi-Fi. Step outside and find yourself on the beach – great snorkeling is right in front of you or just use a lounge chairs provided by the resort and enjoy the seaside. The turquoise crystal-clear swimming pool, overlooking the sea, is a short stroll to your left. Stop at the Marina and see what fresh fish they caught that day and take some to the condo to grill and enjoy on your balcony with a glass of chilled wine. Go for a boat ride with any of the charter companies located at the Marina’s resort to your right. Or simply take a stroll after dinner around the marina and look at the pretty yachts.
Sapphire Beach Bar - a part of our Sapphire Beach Resort is located down the beach by A Building. They serve great drinks, sandwiches and fresh Mahi Mahi burgers. They have beach service, so you can order a drink without leaving your lounge chair! Beach Bar is a fun stop to enjoy great music, crowd watching and beach gazing. A coffee and ice cream shop, The BeachBuzz and a pizza and mojito bar, Paradise Pie, are all a few minutes walk right at Sapphire Beach. Where else would you want to grab a breakfast sandwich, a delicious smoothie or a specialty coffee but right at the beach! Lunch with a gourmet pizza and a specialty cocktail is also a must while visiting. Beautiful views at the all new upscale restaurant, SeaSalt, is a must with ocean-centric dining and a commitment to fresh, sea to table fare. A true example of water front dining! Within a short walking distance to the right of E building, inside the Sapphire Village Complex - there is a new restaurant - Sudi's Caribbean Bar & Grille - with great food and awesome reviews on Trip Advisor!
Red Hook, a charming Nautical little town on the Harbor that offers grocery shopping and restaurants is only 4 minutes away and a $6 taxi ride (available at the taxi stand at our resort). Red Hook also has Ferries to St. John and the BVIs.
