I really enjoyed my stay here, The living room was spacious, and after a long day of exploring, relaxing in the bathtub was just what I needed, The kitchen had all the essentials, and we cooked a few meals together, Location was nice, quiet but still close to restaurants, Definitely recommend!

Charmant oud huisje waar we hartelijk werden ontvangen door de eigenaar. De tuin is groot en mooi met veel schaduw. We hebben daar lekker gebadmintond. In de omgeving kan je mooi wandelen. Op 20 minuten rijden is er een mooie waterval en op 30 minuten rijden is er een mooi meertje om in te zwemmen. Een heerlijk verblijf!

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad! Een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst met uitgebreide uitleg en koekjes! De omgeving is prachtig! Het huis is oud, maar van alle gemakken voorzien en een mooie mix tussen oude karakteristieke elementen en modern gemak. De haard zorgt voor gezellige warmte, maar er is ook een elektrische verwarming als je liever geen vuurtje stookt. De keuken is praktisch en gezellig en de bedden slapen heerlijk. Het huis is schoon en voldeed aan al onze wensen. De tuin is ook echt heerlijk! Een groot grasveld waar de kinderen heerlijk kunnen spelen, maar ook mooie bomen om in de schaduw een boekje te kunnen lezen of te eten als het in de zon te warm is. Kortom, een heerlijke rustige plek waar je de vogeltjes hoort en af en toe een trekker!

De beheerder is sympathiek, maar neemt veel tijd om bij aankomst (als je wat moe bent van de reis en gauw wilt uitpakken) alles tot in detail uit te leggen. Heel veel dingen spreken voor zichzelf en anders een schrift met duidelijke uitleg neerleggen. Veelal in de keuken verbleven (met een toch wel ontoereikende ondiepe stenen spoelbak) omdat wij de huiskamer niet zo gezellig vonden. De twee slaapkamers zijn wel prima, goed verzorgd en goede bedden. Achter het huis staat een verdwaald flatgebouwtje, maar het staat niet in het zicht en geeft ook geen overlast van geluid of drukte. Als je eenmaal aan het huis gewend bent en aan z'n eigenaardigheden, zeg maar heel eigen karakter, is het et toch wel goed toeven. Het is geen rijke streek waar het huis staat, met opvallend veel verlaten en ingezakte of verwaarloosde huizen en dorpen, maar de natuur is er prachtig.

Wat een pareltje! We hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad in dit heerlijke huis. ...

Wat een pareltje! We hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad in dit heerlijke huis. We waren er twee weken, met drie kinderen van 9 jaar, 6 jaar en 1,5. Het huis dateert uit 1813 en heeft daardoor veel karakter. Het wordt heel goed schoon gehouden en is van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaar is enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bij aankomst stonden koekjes klaar, en sap en bier koud. Je krijgt een rondleiding en goede instructies over het huisje. Door deze instructie is het verblijf heel aangenaam geweest, met name met betrekking tot het klimaat in het huisje. Wij hebben een ruime week temperaturen van 36 graden gehad maar hebben het huisje van binnen heerlijk koel kunnen houden, zonder airco. De tuin is fantastisch. Wat hebben we daarvan genoten! Een klein paradijsje voor jezelf. De omgeving is net zo mooi. Vele kleine uitstapjes gedaan, mooie plekken bezocht en genoten van de natuur en de dorpjes. Onze tips voor kleine uitstapjes: - wandeling door Plombieres les Bains. Fascinerend hoe de grandeur van vroeger volledig vergaan is - glasblazerij in Rochere - snoepfabriekje in Darney - miniatuurpark in Plombieres - Ferme Aventure voor kinderen - Ecomusee du pays de la cerise - Epinal (kasteel+park, museum Chaptire en kerkje) - wandeling naar source du Planey - Automuseum in Mulhouse (wel wat verder rijden maar erg leuk)

De woning is gelegen op het platteland en is compleet uitgerust met kooktoestel, koelkast, oven, vaatwasser en wasmachine. Ook is er een houtkachel en er zijn elektrische kachels. De slaapkamers zijn groot en voorzien van rolluiken. Het is een voormalige boerderij uit 1813 met dikke muren, waardoor het altijd koel is binnen. Voor de boerderij kun je overal de tuinstoelen neerzetten en er is nog een grote tuin bij. Er is wifi en een TV met Franse en Duitse zenders. De vriendelijke eigenaar woont aanpandig en geeft een uitgebreide inleiding in het Frans of in het Engels. Daarna merk je niets meer van de buren. Nabij is een grote en complete supermarkt. Er zijn diverse bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving, met heel veel natuur en oude stadjes. Wij hebben hier twee weken een heel fijne vakantie gehad.
