Nice house, beautiful views

Overall a nice holiday destination, close enough to town to get essential food items, but still peaceful (except festival weekend which happened when we were there). Owners live below so handy for any questions and were very helpful and friendly. The property could do with some small improvements such as more sun loungers (only 2 for house that sleeps 6), air conditioning or at least fans in the bedrooms and also some core items for the kitchen were missing (kettle, chopping board etc), but we would still recommend it as a family destination.

La casa está bien ubicada y a nuestra llegada los propietarios nos explicaron correctamente todo. Sin embargo, durante la estancia tuvimos varias situaciones que nos hicieron sentir incómodos, especialmente por la falta de privacidad. Los propietarios viven en la parte inferior y tienen acceso a nuestra vivienda mediante una escalera. Un día, después de acordar que entrarían a limpiar la piscina entre las 11 y las 12, estando nosotros en la zona de la piscina, nos encontramos de repente al propietario dentro de la casa. Nos asustamos bastante y creemos que, aunque sea necesario realizar mantenimiento, siempre debería avisarse antes y respetar la privacidad de los huéspedes.Otro día la propietaria llamó para decir que tenía que entrar a regar las plantas de la casa porque, según nos dijo, se morirían si no lo hacía. Accedimos, pero la sensación de falta de intimidad continuó.En cuanto al alojamiento, la limpieza nos pareció bastante justa, los colchones son muy duros y encontramos hormigas en la cocina prácticamente todos los días. A partir de las 19:00 aparecen muchos mosquitos y acabamos bastante acribillados. La zona de la piscina también podría estar mejor cuidada.En definitiva, no hemos estado cómodos durante la estancia y, por nuestra experiencia, no repetiríamos.

Super expérience !

Location de 5 jours, 4 nuits. Nous avons profité de 3 jours pour aller visiter Barcelone, accessible en voiture facilement 35min. Idéalement situé ! Un coucher de soleil à tomber. Des hôtes très gentils et prévenants. Juste quelques petites choses à améliorer : le nombre de serviettes de toilette et peut être le cabinet de toilette à rénover. Je conseille ++++ petit joyau de paradis !

Excellent séjour dans cette villa !

Miguel et Margaritta sont des personnes charmantes, accueillantes et disponibles. Leur maison est très agréable, fonctionnelle, équipée du nécessaire, d'une climatisation et d'une piscine appréciées en plein été catalan ! Nous sommes très heureux de cette découverte tout confort à 2 pas de Barcelone et nous reviendrons avec plaisir plus longuement pour visiter d'autres choses de cette jolie région. Nous ne pouvons que conseiller un arrêt chez Miguel et Margaritta s !!

A peaceful and comfortable retreat

We stayed here as 2 couples with plenty of room and good amenities. The house is in a quiet and picturesque part of the country. Views from the terrace over Montserrat are stunning, especially when the sun starts to set. We enjoyed the cool breeze of an evening sitting on the terrace. Miguel and his wife are lovely and most helpful. There is good wifi and a great selection of TV stations. Plenty of space to sit, both inside and out and beds were most comfortable. The advantage of this place is it is quiet but close to Barcelona - 40 minutes by car or the train takes 1hr 25min and is a direct line that stops at Placa de Catalunya. There is a small supermarket in town or take a drive to Terrazzo, only 10 minutes away, wonder round and enjoy the town, then shop at the larger Mercado supermarket. Overall a wonderful stay thanks to Miguel and Margarita.

Quiet, friendly place for a relax.

Miguel and his wife Maragrita are wonderful hosts who cannot do enough for you. We had a relaxing stay in their house on a quiet street in the even quieter town of Villadecavalls. There is a small supermarket in town but Terassa is only a short drive away and has a large Mercadona. The train to Barcelona takes about 1hour25mins and it is a very pretty drive to Montserrat. If you want a comfortable break in the country with aircon, tv, wifi and a pool and a great view of the Montserrat from your terrace then this is the place to go.
