The place was updated, comfy and cute! The neighborhood was perfect for walking our dog each day! Communication with Doug was a breeze. We would definitely rebook if the need arises!
Doug is a fantastic host and responds to your questions very quickly and the house is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Spices, laundry soap, coffee and even band aids should you have a booboo. It is very conveniently located only about an 8 min drive to the airport unless you run into the Philly traffic jams which do happen quite a bit. If we were going to come back to Philly I would definitely stay here again.
The place was so comfortable and the outside furniture was comfortable to enjoy the outdoor. The host had well stocked items which came in handle when we forgot something. The host communicated quickly with us when we had an issue with the Wi-Fi. Recommend this cute this place.
I came into town with my husband and 2 small dogs for my niece's graduation. The property was spotless and even better then described. It had everything that you needed for a comfortable stay. Would recommend this VRBO for sure!
Driving north to Ny, Philly was 3rd stop on our trip. Traveling with our 2 dogs, so the fenced yard was a perk, but also a 4 minute drive away was Ridley Park. Cute park with quarter lap paved, good for a quick walk close by. This was a nice option without having to stay in the city. All the necessities available in The neighborhood, Aldi, gas, pizza, Dunkin’ Donuts.
House was well maintained and had everything necessary. Would recommend!
The place was clean and cozy. The location was great for us as we had a rehearsal dinner and wedding in Media. The guys loved the TV , ESPN 2 and sectional seating. Sleeps 4 with two spacious bedrooms and the mattresses were comfortable with nice bedding. Having stayed 3 nights a dishwasher would have been welcomed but overall the stay was very enjoyable.
I can't say enough about Doug the property manager he was very accommodating we got there a little early and he did not have a problem letting us go in early. He even made room in his garage so we could store our motorcycles out of the rain. Just a world class property very clean and I hope the property is available when we come back next year for our annual ride. Thanks again Doug for a pleasant experience.
Stay was great and the house was generally clean. I would recommend that Doug perform some maintenance as it appears that there may be a leak in the master bath evidenced by peeling paint in the kitchen and the study. Also there is some mold present in the basement which could impact guests with allergies.
We stayed with our dog and enjoyed the prime location, near restaurants, shopping, and the Blue Route. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of backyard for our dog to run around. Will come back again.
This house was fantastic for us. Spacious and it looked even nicer in person than the photos. The large yard was amazing for our little dog. Had comfortable beds and a nice big living room sofa. All in all great!
Doug was super accommodating and let us check in early! Our flight arrived in the morning, and it was so nice to be able to get settled in our rental. The house was spacious, with two lovely bedrooms and room to gather. We appreciated being able to visit comfortably with our daughter in college!

Good stay but can be improved
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had some business to do in Philly and the commute going into the city was very convenient. The neighborhood seemed safe and the house suited our needs. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard, although it got a bit chaotic when the 2 big dogs of both neighbors on either side of the house, would bark nonstop once they saw us or our dog. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything one needs in terms of bathroom supplies. The house was also decorated very cutely but could use some TLC. The paint inside the house on the walls and ceilings were chipping and cracking. The smoke detector in the primary bedroom was not installed. The duvet cover in the primary bedroom was stained very badly and didn't come out in the wash. The upstairs bathroom shower also looked a bit dirty and the shower handle was falling off. At the beginning of our stay, we also saw a mouse in the living room and it actually scurried up onto the stove. Aside from those details, the house was comfortable and quiet and worked well as our home base while visiting Philly.
My family and I came in for a Celebration of Life. We decided to rent a home near the venue. We found the house to be exactly as listed. It was nicely decorated and was very clean. I would highly recommend this home for anyone coming to Philadelphia. It is close to the airport, city, and sports arenas!
Close to Philly and in a nice neighborhood, our family of four (and dog) had a very smooth weekend stay. The house was clean and well-appointed; beds were comfortable; and our dog loved having a yard. You can see in the pictures that the house is on a hill, with a steep driveway, so make sure to put emergency breaks on and keep in mind, if you’re traveling with someone who has physical disabilities. Also, both bedrooms were a nice size and upstairs, where hot air rises. There was a semi-portable ac in one of them, which kept it pretty cool, though if we had had a really hot night, the second bedroom might have gotten a little too warm. Would definitely stay here again, if back in the area.
Best location if you need to be close to sporting venues!
The house was just the right size for our family of four and two small dogs. The place was clean, cozy, and perfectly located just minutes from the sporting venues. Which is why we chose this rental since we were attending the Phillies game during the 4th of July week. Our fur babies enjoyed the fenced backyard and that was a plus. Doug was very quick in responding to our questions about the place. We hope to come back to see an Eagles game this season, and if we do we will definitely want to stay here again. ~ Thank you Doug!

We were very pleased by how clean the rental was. It had the cleanest floors of any rental we’ve ever stayed in. Just FYI: although fenced in, there is one gap where our dog got through, so if your dog is an escape artist I would keep an eye on him. There is also a small fish pond, about three feet by four feet on the property. We were unaware of this and let the dogs run around the backyard, and one of them fell into the fish pond and required a lot of shampooing. The guest room upstairs (opposite the master) gets very warm. We tried turning on the window unit in the master bedroom and leaving all the doors open, but it didn’t do much to help. There is a large fan in the room, but it just circulated the warm air around. The master stayed very cool since it has the window unit. There are slats under the bed in the guest room that are not screwed in, and they caused the mattress to slant/dip significantly until I figured out what was going on. My husband said this could easily be remedied if they were screwed into the bed frame. Overall we enjoyed our stay and how convenient to amenities the area is.
My husband and I booked this house to stay for a few weeks while he worked in the city on a job. I’m from the Philly area but this was my first time and our first time staying in this neighborhood and it was quiet, great to walk a dog in, and had amazing restaurants nearby (including a Wawa in walking distance). Location to Philly is awesome, best of both worlds with suburb life that’s close to center city. And the house was clean, and so homey. TVs in living room and main bedroom, adorable balcony of bedroom and our dog adored the backyard. There’s a field nearby too we took him to for running. Neighbors were kind as well. Doug was a great host to communicate with and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We want to come back here every year!
The property was clean and well put together. Doug had clean towels in the downstairs linen closet and the beds were comfortable. I really liked that he had a little basket with all the toiletries you would need. The kitchen also had all the appliances you need, especially if you're not spending your day out of the house. He also had blankets folded up next to the couch. I appreciate that he thought of everything.
Two complaints though, one of which could be user error. First, and very minor, the shower on the second floor was very tiny and the door didn't fully close. So if you need space, you'll need to go to the first floor. Second, the upstairs got VERY hot. We had to keep the fans running high all night. But it was very uncomfortable in the beginning of the night. We turned the A/C on but that didn't seem to help, even though it was cool downstairs.
Otherwise, we enjoyed staying here and it was a good experience.
The property was clean and comfortable.
We would suggest more/better lighting, especially on bedside tables and in the living room. The bed linens were clean, but we would suggest they be cleaned with scent-free detergent. One of us did not sleep well due to the strong scent in the pillows and the bed covers.
The location was perfect for us as we had an engagement
at the Springhaven Country Club and visited locations in and around Wallingford and Media.
Overall this was a comfortable rental and communication with the host was very satisfactory.
Great location with easy access to Philadelphia, Delaware. Home very well furnished including anything one might need to feel at home. Very clean and maintained.
Great host who was quick to respond to the few questions we had.
Highly recommend!!
