My wife and I have been to Pauduch a number of times, but our stay at the Respite was the best yet! We had a spacious room with lots of thoughtful amenities and the breakfast was excellent! The
My wife & I have stayed at the Respite House three or four times. We’ve never had anything but a wonderful stay. The room is clean, spacious & the breakfast was again excellent!
We plan on staying there in the future.
Had a great stay, owners are easy to work with. We did not arrive until late. Property instructions were easy to follow even though we were not familiar with the area.
We had breakfast both mornings of our stay and the owners were helpful with current events and local restaurants to try.
We would definitely stay here again.
Chose Paducah mostly due to location on a long drive but was pleasantly surprised as there is enough to do for a couple days. The location is excellent with only a short (albeit humid) walk to almost all there is to see. The porch is great for sitting in the afternoon and the building itself is very spacious and comfortable. Host was excellent and prompt at communicating and very flexible. We'll always have pleasant memories!
Was a lovely B&B. Nicely decorated and comfortable. The room was very nice and clean (as was the entire place nothing was dirty anywhere we went inside) The bed was firm but very comfortable. The bathtub was amazing, even though the controls took a minute to figure out, great water pressure in the shower and great fluffy towels. Never seen anyone else the entire time we were there, which was fine with us! The only thing we did not "love" was the parking on the street. Some of the street area is pretty dark. We did not partake in the breakfast, but did receive vouchers that we used at the gold rush cafe. The billiards room is nice. The in room refrigerator was adequate but did not keep our drinks supercold and it could really use an in room microwave. But thats just nitpicking. I would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to others.
After buying a house AND a camper at the same time, we needed to separate from our 24/7 workload for a bit. Both the City of Paducah and the Respite Bed and Breakfast were exactly what we needed to relax a bit...loved it and will be back again
