Beautiful apartment with many period historic features in the centre of the old town. Very comfortable and well equipped, plenty of space for five people. Host Florent was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
Florent and Rachel’s apartment is one of the biggest we have stayed in! It’s located right in the old town centre but is a short walk (or drive) from supermarkets, boulangeries and the sights of the centre. This is not a modern, minimalist “IKEA” flat pack fit out. This is a 16th century building, with stone touches, chipped paintwork, squeaky floorboards and uneven ancient tiles. The owners have celebrated its age by filling it with quirky objects. It’s pure FUN to stay in! Even the antique Griffon toilet cistern flush was amazing.Florent allowed us in a little early, visited us later and explained all about the apartment, and generously provided a lovely bottle of Jura white wine and lots of coffee pods. He responded almost immediately to any questions. A most attentive and lovely host. The apartment is full of informative brochures. Yes, there are bells from the cathedral 50 metres away. But they begin at 7am and end in early evening. Traffic is minimal, parking is not difficult and the Tourist Office is a delight. You can be in the wine villages of the Cote D’Or and Beaune within 45 minutes. We really enjoyed this unexpected, unique experience. Thank you, Florent and Rachel!
Wunderschöner Ausflug in die Vergangenheit. Großzügiges Apartment mit allem was man braucht. Bequeme Betten. Netter Vermieter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
