We had a great trip and fantastic time at this property. Lots of bears visit daily. Hot tub was great! Balcony for viewing is great to get all of the pictures that you want of the bears that come through the property. Great quiet location! You won't be disappointed.
We enjoyed the house. One issue was handled quickly with Host. Management company was great also. I love to grill out but the grill is not suited well for doing so. We loved hanging out in the hot tub. Easy drive to Downtown. I would stay here again.
This property was so amazing!! We had an incredible time. The home is very beautiful and worth every single penny!! The property was very well kept and very clean. The set up in the house was perfect for my husband and our 2 teens and baby. The second day there a mama and 3 cubs and her yearling came up on the porch to visit!! It was amazing! Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg are very close and a pretty easy drive. We had an absolutely amazibg vacation and this home made it so perfect!! We will be back!! Thanks Diane for everything!
This was a great place. It does have a lot of stairs. It was very clean and stocked. I do wish there were curtains in the bedrooms instead of just blinds. And the tvs aren't smart. They only have cable. I'm used to steaming. We did see a bear and the neighbors are close. It has very narrow, curvy roads to get to it but kept cell service and Google maps the entire way. We had a great time! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful slice of heaven.
The house was great! It was exactly how it is pictured and big enough for 6 adults that were on my trip. We saw about 2 bears while we were out there. You definitely have to drive on some windy roads in the mountains so be prepared for that. Other than that it was a great location.
My adult son and I had a great stay. The property was clean. The mountain roads leading to the property weren’t too bad and the parking area was level. The bears were active so I would advise keeping your car doors locked. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here with our teenage sons and found the chalet to be excellent! They enjoyed the pool table. We had everything we needed except a potholder to remove a dish from the oven. No big deal! We saw bears outside the cabin 3 nights in a row and they got into neighbor’s trash. We chose to keep our trash inside until trash day just so we weren’t tempting. They walked right up to our fire pit, and we even had a bear print on the truck one night so be sure to keep the doors locked and all food removed from vehicles like it says. Very nice property and beds slept good. Loved having 3 showers and 3.5 bathrooms so we could all get ready at the same time. Great neighborhood to take a morning or evening walk. Luigi’s pizza was very good for an evening in. We took the bypass into pigeon forge each day so we could eat and do things without paying to park in gatlinburg. We saw 27 bears total on this trip! Can’t wait to come back!
The window beside the dining room leaked terribly. We had to lay towels in the window sill and floor to soak it all up. The dryer vent was completely broken and prevented the clothes from drying well and made me fearful of leaving the dryer running without us being nearby. The beds were super comfortable and the location was quiet and convenient. We didn’t see any bears. We enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. The kitchen was stocked well. Overall, it was a good experience. Just FYI, don’t eat the Ski Mountain Pizza just down the road. It wasn’t good at all.
The AC didn’t work for most of our stay. Tried to sleep with Windows open but some were missing screens. Many spiders and ants inside the house. Window in dining room leaked when it rained and downstairs toilet was leaking. Nice home in a great location but very poorly managed and maintained.
The house was as described. It was very clean. Check in and checkout process were easy. The hot tub was a great addition to the cabin! Located in a great spot on Gatlinburg.
Very quiet place, pictures look the same as posted on the website and very clean.
Good internet and cable tv
The route during the night is a little bit stressfull (no owner's fault). Recomend to arrive at the propery before sunset.
The place was really nice, location was convenient to everything the parking was flat, definitely one of the nicer parking areas compared to other driveways we looked at near hear.
We really enjoyed this property for our stay in mid-October. All of the beds were comfortable, the master bedroom shower was amazing (maybe don't try to have 6 people shower in a row though as not sure the hot water heater can handle that many). The hot tub was simple, but just what we needed after long days of hiking. The kitchen is not very well supplied, but we had planned on eating out most meals anyhow because good look finding groceries in Gatlinburg! The drive up and down the mountain to and from the property is a little property stressful, but so grateful to have had a nice flat parking area at the house. And, best part - we did get to see a bear at the house the morning we left!
The house and landscaping are beautiful and immaculate. Inside, the house is well-furnished, attractive and roomy. The only issue is that the stairs are risky, especially for older adults and young children. There is a particularly dangerous step down at the entrance that is easy to miss. Other than that word of caution, I highly recommend the property.
This house was perfectly located to hit all of the fun spots!
We came to the mountains for some fun and beautiful scenery, and it didn’t disappoint.
We also had a few bear visitors that we loved observing.
So much fun!
Clean and nice, just as advertised; be warned there are bears!
The house was very nice and clean; as advertised and fairly close the local attractions. Be warned, at this property, there are bears. They opened our car door and climbed inside the car to look for food. When you arrive, take everything out of your car, immediately, and then make sure that the doors are locked at all times. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD, BEVERAGES OR ANYTHING THAT EMITS A SMELL IN YOUR CAR!
