Perfect family getaway

There is something for everyone at this property. The kids loved the pool, movie room, and air hockey table. There is plenty of space for everyone (we had 10 in our party). The owners were very communicative and responded to questions very quickly. We loved the property so much that we have already started talking among ourselves about booking it again next year!

The parking is very narrow. Kitchen is not as stocked with pots and pans as other places we have stayed in. It was a beautiful cabin. We enjoyed the pool and all the games to play . Not many towels for the bathroom. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us

Beautiful Cabin

We had a group of 13 and this cabin was perfect for our large group. Everyone enjoyed their stay and there was plenty of room for people to spread out and do their own thing. This cabin is brand new and therefore has some kinks that need to be worked out. For example it was lacking in some kitchen supplies that would have been nice to have. The WiFi was not that great and the pool was too cold for us to even use. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable cabin for 15 people

Cabin had it all—comfortable beds, games, hot tub, indoor pool, theater, nice furniture-everyone was very comfortable and found something to do. Our group ranged from aged 22 months to 78. Spacious enough for 15 people. Bathroom for each bedroom was a big plus. The outdoor pool was close to cabin and a nice option for a hot day. We saw several bears in the neighborhood which was very exciting. The neighborhood was conveniently located and quiet. The cabin was sufficiently stocked although I would suggest more towels available for pool and hot tub as well as the kitchen. I would also suggest hand soap for kitchen and full bars of soap for the bathrooms. Electricity did go out 3 times with one time right at checkout which was inconvenient. The cabin did get warm pretty quickly for each blackout but we dealt with it. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at the cabin again.

Family vacation

Lap of Luxury met all our need and was as described . The parking was extremely tight; partially due to large pickups from the house next store; fortunatly we were able to park 2 vehicles in marked spaces down the hill. The stone walkway is pretty but older people; especially those with balance issues may need assistance. The home itself was great and had plenty of space for the 13 of us. The grandchildren (5 teenagers) as well as the adults enjoyed the amenities, and cooking together but also there was space just to have time to yourself . The convenience to activities was great.

Glorious Weekend Getaway with my Sibs

The Lap of Luxury is just that! There were about a dozen of us. With all the king beds, there was more than enough space. The beds had all the pillows and sheets to make it extra comfy. The bathrooms were clean and felt good to use. We all loved the games like billiards, shuffle board, and foosball. The indoor pool was the right temperature and clean. The hot tub was a good size and temp. The kitchen was huge--the oven and the dishwasher did a great job. We were there for just a few days, but we all wished it was more! Thank you Eden Crest!

Great but don’t expect internet or tv

Everything was great except the tv and internet. We had an issue with one of the bedrooms not being ready with clean sheets. We called the office and they came and fixed it immediately. It was very clean and had excellent amenities. Our only complaint is that the internet is basically non existent and so is the tv because the tv runs through the internet. Be sure to bring dvd’s to watch.

Suggestions for improvemenrd

The directions for the pool alarm door needs to be replaced so the necessary steps can be read. The alarm on the pool was annoying due to continuous beeps it was making which could not be stopped. We had no large, mixing bowls, whatsoever one cookie sheet, which was small for a party of 15. Some kitchen scissors would be helpful, and other than that everything was pretty well supplied. We enjoyed our time and will be returning again.

Making Special Family Memories

The rental process and communication was excellent. The cabin was perfect for our family game night competitions. There were a few things that need attention. The floors were vacuumed however have no been mopped in some time leaving the bottom of the kids feet dark black. There were five pool sticks three were broken. The air hockey table barely lifted the puck. The pool was murky. Our family loves to grill regardless of temperatures. Several meals were planned using the grill however, the propane cylinder was empty. This cabin was selected based on the amenities and for the price my expectations were not met.

Great weekend In the smokies

We loved the house and it’s amenities. It was easy to locate. I only have 2 “negative” things regarding the house - 1. For a house that sleeps 16 only 2 parking spaces next to the house seems off. But we made it work. There was 10 in our group and we came in 3 cars. 2. The internet was subpar to say the least! While trying to watch something it either kept cutting out completely or buffering. Once again if you’re going to have a house that sleeps 16 the internet should be able to handle the amount of gadgets on the bandwidth. Outside of those two things we loved it. We have talked about booking again. The beds were super comfy which is a major bonus!

Lap of Luxury cabin

We were very disappointed in this rental! We had planned on grilling steaks on Friday night but the grill was in very bad repair and there was no propane tank. I called the property management office. And told them about it. They said they would send a maintenance person out however they only brought a propane tank. Finally late afternoon after we had already decided to order pizza the Maintenece person show up and saw that the grill was in disrepair and he would have to get a new one. That would take him a few days. That did us no good. The second thing was the hot tub did not have much water in it at all. It did not look like it had been cleaned or fresh water added. The third thing was the parking! For a 6 bedroom cabin you have four parking places that only a small car can get in. This was not mentioned anywhere on the rental or the website. Overall the cabin was dirty. The kitchen cabinet was crooked but we did fix that for you! Very disappointed in this rental. I have pictures to referring to the issues.

Very clean, great location, spotty wifi.

Positives: Our family of 14 stayed at this cabin, including 2 children (3 and 8 months) with plenty of room. The cabin was very clean and super nice. Bedrooms were good size and all had a bathroom. Location is great. There is a great BBQ place down the street as well as a sub shop/chicken. Amenities are great especially all the games. Cons: parking is a little tight for our 5 vehicles. We kept one on the street. Wifi is not great/spotty at best. The TVs were very very slow and it was almost impossible to get the TV to load in the theater room. The pool is cool, 79 degrees and that is as warm as it gets. Understand the reasoning. Important to note the 5th bedroom is down 2 flights of stairs and off the pool room. You have to enter a door with a very loud safety alarm to get there.

Nice property, but there were some issues

The house was very nice and spacious. The houses are very close together with minimal parking. There are 2 parking spots for each house. If the houses can accommodate 16 plus people, 2 spaces are just not enough for each house. Another thing is the WiFi did not work the entire trip. We notified the office and they sent maintenance. There was a note saying that the WiFi was now working (they came when we stepped out). There was a separate issue where the living room tv was not connecting to the satellite provider, they fixed that, but the internet remained nonexistent. The office did check to see how things were going. Since I had poor connection, I could not answer. So they sent me a text message. I told them what was going on with the WiFi via text, but there was no follow up from them. The indoor pool was nice, but would be nicer if it was heated (the room was heated, but the pool was freezing). The house would have been perfect if these items were fixed. I would stay there again, if I knew the WiFi would work.

Great Stay

It was good. The only problem we had was the wifi had poor connection which cAused none of the streaming services to work

Thank you for the recent stay with us at Eden Crest. I am sorry about the WiFi in that area. We only have access to satellite until better providers are allowed in that area of Gatlinburg. We are hoping in the next 2 months to have better provider in that area. Please come back to stay with us again!
