About this property

Kurashiki DEN - Modern House - Bikan Chiku

Our modern house offers two bedrooms with western style bedding and wood floors. There is also a sofa-bed available in each room however, there will be an additional fee needed for bedding and lining.

The space includes a full kitchen and dining-room which can comfortably seat all members of the group. There is also an outdoor sun-deck/porch.

Also including a full shower room with bath (western amenities) and use of a washing machine.

Kurashiki DEN is comprised of two restored adjoined houses; an older, historic side that is traditionally decorated and a newer contemporary modern house that is decorated accordingly.

Each of these sides is available individually or the entire property can be rented. If rented individually, the two sides are secured and separated by a locking door and each has their own front entrance from the street securing the privacy of each side as well as their own set of amenities such as baths and kitchen.

We are unique in Kurashiki because we are one of very few entire house rentals you will find in the Bikan Historic District. This space is ideally suited for families and small groups.

A true Gem in historic part of Kurashiki

The property was an old traditional Japanese house, converted by one of the leading architects in Japan, to an absolutely stunning place with all the modern amenities. But the real treat is the hospitality of the wonderful hosts. A great Japanese restaurant is just outside your door.
