Storm Bait Haven at the South

You have found an incredible beach house! This is a large newly remodeled home with 5 spacious bedrooms and 4 full baths and outdoor shower. This beach house has just installed heated private Salt Water Pool. Home has been decorated by a local designer with all new furniture and local art work.

Home boost a large inviting open area great room with cathedral ceilings.

We are proud to add this home to the Storm Bait family of high end vacation homes in Fenwick, Island and Coastal DE!
🚫 Cancellation & Credit Policy:

✔️All direct bookings are non-refundable. However, we understand that travel plans may change. For cancellations made at least 30 days prior to arrival and outside of Peak Season (defined as June 15 – September 15),
✔️ Host may offer a credit toward a future stay, valid for up to 12 months from the original check-in date. Credit is subject to availability and must be used in a single reservation.
✔️For reservations made through third-party booking platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo), the cancellation terms published on the respective Booking Site shall apply, unless otherwise specified in this Agreement.
✔️Guests are responsible for reviewing and understanding the cancellation policies of the platform used.

House looked even better than the listing! Plenty of room for a group of 10. The wagon to load to the beach and extra fridge in the basement was a great surprise! Everything was clean and kitchen had everything needed to cook. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Family vacation

Great week with family. Good location with easy walk to beach and shops. Property in very good condition, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Pool was added bonus. Would definitely recommend and rent again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is in a great location only about a 5 min walk to the beach. The pool is great for relaxing after the beach. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed and the kitchen, dining and family area is large and well arranged. We ran into some issues with the pool but Frank was quick to jump in and resolve the issue. Worth checking it out.

Really enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at storm bait! A few things to highlight: There was plenty of space for our party of 10. The house was just a few minutes from the beach entrance with beach chairs and wagon. We really enjoyed having the pool after we were done beaching for the day. Kitchen was fully stocked for nights we cooked in. Check out/check in process was easy. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, modern, spacious, in a perfect location 2 minute walk to the beach, next to Royal Farms and across from Matt’s Fish Camp! Frank was very responsive, kind, and he truly cared for us to have the best stay at his vacation home. The heated pool especially so early in the season was the cherry on top! We truly enjoyed our week there. Our host was very responsive. The ad lists a hot tub and that was one of the reasons we picked this property unfortunately there was no hot tub, but not a big deal. The pool was very cloudy through most of the trip but our host kept working on it. I would recommend anyone that stays there will have a lovely time, the property was very nice. Family getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The heated pool was absolutely wonderful for our whole family. There are several restaurants within walking distance that were excellent and the beach is a very short walk.

Perfect, serene, beach vacation

The ideal place for every beach weekend! Close enough to the beach for the early risers to walk and catch a sunrise with coffee, quiet enough for the night owls to sleep in, and close enough to everything that we didn’t have to spend a lot of time driving around to get to where things were happening. Overall we really liked the property. Great location in relation to the beach and things to do. Bedrooms have decent size and there is ample social space. Plenty of parking for multi families. Some drawbacks about our experience: The pool wasn’t cleaned before we got there and the vacuum was left in the pool. It’s said that the pool is heated and while we could tell it was working a little, it did not hold the advertised 80 degrees and access to the panel was locked. There was garbage still in garbage cans when we checked in. The property manager did not return our call about the fireplace not working.

The location was great! Within walking distance of the beach and the private pool was perfect!! Frank was very responsive as well! Some minor areas of the home could use a deep clean but the overall cleanliness of the home was good and no major complaints. I would stay at this property again and recommend to others!

Great location. Close to all the stores and restaurants. We were worried about the noise from coastal highway but it was never an issue. Great place for extended family

We enjoyed our stay at the house. It has plenty of space to spread out and the bedrooms worked well for 6 adults and 3 young children. The location is just a short walk to the beach. The heated pool was perfec for afternoons when the younger children took naps and we wanted to still get outside and enjoy the weather. Frank was very helpful with getting the pool cleaned midweek.

Owner was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend adding an outdoor table for either dining space or workspace. Desks or tables in a few bedrooms would give guests additional places to go when indoors. Overall a great stay- close to lots of restaurants and activities.

Exceptional vacation in an exceptional home

Just finished our week at the beach at Storm Bait South. This was a fantastic place to stay. It’s one of those rare properties that actually is even nicer in person than it is in pictures. We enjoyed the week with our 3 children, spouses and 5 grandchildren. It was perfectly suited for all of us with ample room to enjoy ourselves whether dining together, playing games or taking in the Olympics together in the evening. An added bonus was the swimming pool which provided hours of fun and relaxation for both the adults and children when we weren’t on the beach. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.
