Forever Joy- Outdoor Living | Aska Adventure Area | Large Hot Tub
Reasons to Book:
Two Cozy Outdoor Fireplaces Hot Tub Under the Stars Game Room Fun with Pool Table and Xbox Long Range Mountain Views Minutes to Trails and Downtown Blue Ridge
The owner of this Georgia mountain cabin rental named it for her mother, an ovarian cancer survivor who spent time there, recovering from treatments. We don't know for sure whether the beautiful, serene mountain setting helped her heal, but it's easy to see why Forever Joy has a profound effect on everyone that visits.
This large and stunning tri-level showplace with wraparound decks and soaring ceilings has magnificent unobstructed mountain views and Lake Blue Ridge right across the street. Elegantly decorated with all the amenities of an exclusive resort, it's a private retreat for you to share with family or friends on vacation you won't soon forget.
Located five miles from downtown Blue Ridge, Forever Joy is as impressive inside and out, with no less than four stone fireplaces, two wood-burning ones on each outdoor deck, and gas fireplaces in the family room and the basement. The rooms are bright and airy, letting in light from huge picture and floor to ceiling windows, and the screened-in porch beckons you to settle into a couch or rocker to relax, fire up the gas grill, or soak your cares away in the hot tub, which has room for eight.
Meal preparation is a pleasure in the state of the art kitchen that's appointed with black appliances, black wood cabinets, granite countertops, electric stove/oven, refrigerator with icemaker and a Keurig coffee maker. The dining area seats six, with space for two more at the breakfast bar.
Each of the three comfortable bedrooms feature hand-carved custom furniture, including the upstairs master with a king bed, deck access, private bath with soaking tub, and flat screen TV with cable and Blu-Ray player. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed, deck access, and adjacent bath with walk-in tiled shower and washer/dryer, and the basement bedroom has a full over twin bunk bed, perfect for kids or teens. Master and main level bathrooms have double vanities and custom sinks.
For entertainment, Forever Joy has a fully equipped game room with a pool table, ping-pong top, board games, an Xbox 360 system and games, mobile bar and wireless Internet throughout the house. There are flat screen TVs with cable and Blu-Ray in the game room and family room, where there's a surround sound system for your listening pleasure.
Of course, you'll want to take advantage of all the Aska Adventure Area has to offer, whether it's canoeing and kayaking on the Toccoa River, boating on Lake Blue Ridge (there's a boat ramp within minutes if you've got your own), hiking the trails or swimming at Morganton Point for lots of outdoor fun. The shops and restaurants of Blue Ridge are just minutes away, and it's less than an hour's drive to Georgia's wonderful wineries, like Crane Creek Winery & Vineyards in Young Harris near Blairsville.
If you're looking for a relaxing, joyful, one-of-a-kind vacation destination, Forever Joy is the perfect choice.

The property was amazing. The house was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed a lovely weekend with family. Will definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay! We loved the hot tub and wood burning fireplace outside. It was nice that the fireplace area was covered as it rained while we were they, but we were still able to enjoy the fire. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, instapot, and crock pot and the beds were comfortable. The master bath doesn't really have a shower, it's a tub with a shower wand. That didn't bother us as there is a shower on the main level and in the bottom level. We liked that there were two living areas so the kids could watch something downstairs while the adults would relax upstairs.

Thank you for staying with us at Forever Joy! We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. We hope to host you again soon!
The property was clean and well maintained. Appliances are older, but fully functioning. Location was perfect, secluded but close to town and right across the street from the lake. Hot tub and other amenities were great. WiFi was strong except for upstairs bedroom, lots of TVs but we never turned any on. One note that I missed in the pictures, outdoor furniture only consists of 3 Adirondack chairs. No dining table.

Thank you for staying with us! We are so glad you enjoyed your vacation. We can't wait to see you again! Escape to Blue Ridge
We had a wonderful time at the Forever Joy cabin in Blue Ridge GA, cabin was exactly as described in the listing and was extremely easy to get to, in addition to being very close to the downtown Blue Ridge area. We did have a little trouble with the gas fireplaces during our stay (I’ve never stayed anywhere where the gas fireplace actually works as described), we called the property manager and they fixed it right away. Would certainly recommend the Escape to Blue Ridge team to anyone, they were great from the time we booked until check out. We had two families total and the kids loved the outside deck area as well as the basement area, plenty of room for a group to stretch out. The front yard is also a great place for the kids to play without having to worry about cars.
The only con I would give is the gas fireplace is a little touchy and the family room tv needs an upgrade (the tv down in the basement is huge and let’s face it, nobody goes to the mountains to watch tv :) ) We’ve stayed at several properties in the Georgia, Carolina mountains mountains and as far as amenities and location, this is one of the nicest, would come back.

This was the perfect cabin for our family to gather for Christmas. The house has 2 large living areas with VERY comfy sofas. There's one bedroom on each of the three levels and all have their own baths. I missed having a shower in the upper master but not a big deal. The microwave was not working when we arrived but the management company responded quickly bringing one for us to use. Kitchen is well equipped, plenty of cookware for all needs. Did not make it in the hot tub but it was ready and waiting for us. Town is just a 5 min drive away. The road up is paved but steep, we had no problem parking 3 cars at the house, however an inch of snow made the steep slope a slippery wheel locking slipping and sliding car ride back down...heart was thumping but we all made it! Locals knew to leave their cars at the bottom. All in all it's a beautiful house and it was wonderful to have our dogs with us for the holidays. Thanks much for a great home away from home!

Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We hope to host you again soon!
The cabin was as described and in a good location close to downtown Blue Ridge. The basement with the pool table was our favorite room for hanging out at night and easy to let the dog out the sliding doors into the yard. Not a lot of traffic on the Cabin road, but very loud on the main road nearby. The big disappointment was the cleanliness of the cabin and upkeep in general. Hot tub wasn’t working when we got there and was filthy. Management came and took care of that. The floors in the house were very dirty and sandy. I don’t think the upstairs floors were even swept after last renter. There was sand everywhere, including the doorknob and door. Dishwasher was rickety, kitchen sink faucet was loose, screen doors were broken and holes in screen, Grass was un-mowed, furniture in upstairs screen porch was disheveled and really needs replacements, fireplace and deck was never swept. I don’t think this area was cleaned at all. Management offered to clean again, but we already checked in and our dog was in the house. Not worth it at this point. I even had to purchase a new non stick frying pan to make breakfast with because the one in the cabin is trashed. Overall, this cabin is in need of some appliance, cookware updates and a really deep cleaning.

house is really nice, good location, not far from town but secluded. enough room for two vehicles to park. Not sure about parking for a boat. Driveway really steep, as is everything, ur in the mountains.
We were beyond impressed with Forever Joy. So clean, and equipped with everything you could ever need. We will be repeat guests for many years to come.
