Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

Family Vacation

Loved our stay here. 3 families, all in similar condos. 2 Kids that had a blast. This resort is really perfect for families. Not "luxurious" but we had everything we needed and it was clean and well kept. Lots of places to eat around it and a great grocery store across the highway. The beach was on the small side but great for snorkeling and hanging out. Would definitely come back for another stay.

Comfortable but needs updating and fixing

It was comfortable overall, but we had some problems: microwave was dirty upon arrival and the condo was dusty in places, the shower had a leak in it from upstairs (it was fixed), the dishwasher is rusted out in several places (needs replacement), the freezer/refrigerator broke and leaked water all over the floor (it was fixed but should be replaced), and the region had a water outage so we had no water for one night (not the fault of property management). We enjoyed the garden grounds, pools, and hotel. However, I would like a reply from the property manager as we had so many problems that I doubt we will ever stay there again.

Beautiful condo with some surprises

The condo was spacious and clean. It's advertised as "garden view" and we were surprised that it had a decent view of the ocean from the lanai! It does directly overlook the drainage canal (not smelly) and the adjacent hotel, but just beyond that you can absolutely enjoy the ocean view. Terry responded promptly to my single question and the Aston hotel staff were fantastic. The second surprise is that there were two Ring doorbell style cameras in the living room pointed towards the interior of the room. They looked hard-wired into the electrical wiring. I'd never seen this before and was concerned for my privacy. I covered them while we were there but do they also record sound? Not cool and I think probably violates VRBO policies.

Excellent condo with a nice view of the courtyard

The property owner was very responsive. The condo did not include daily room service, but the room was very clean and the hotel staff accomodated our adhoc requests for additional towels and supplies during our stay. The bed was a little too soft, most adults will likely sink into it.

Very clean and beautiful location. I would recommend better bed pillows and more kitchen necessities since it is separate from the guest services.

Good for the price

Overall we had a nice stay. Upon check in, I realized we didn't get housekeeping service, which truly was fine, just didn't realize it when booking. We found bugs in our kitchen on the first morning and after a few trips down to the front desk, they made things right. Drinks were good and had a good happy hour. Location was OK; could walk to a few restaurants and close access to the beach walk (few resorts over is where it started). Not a bad lyft/uber to Whaler's Village. No beach right at the resort; had to walk about 1/2 mile to get to the beach. Property manager is very responsive and helpful.

The TV had some issues- the audio would be 5 seconds behind the video on some channels. Annoying, but the place was incredible beyond that!

Fun stay

The place was clean and had a nice view. The kitchen could be a little better stocked. If you were set on cooking the supply’s were scarce. Pool and restaurant were nice. Food trucks out front were great and affordable. We enjoyed are stay

A wonderful property with bus stop right in front of the hotel/ condo. Also a grocery store across the street. Not right on the boardwalk but close enough. Staff very helpful. Luxury stay, affordable pricing
