Beautiful Dewey Beach Condo at the Opal - Plan for Summer 2026!!

Plan your next vacation in Dewey Beach!!!

Relax and unwind in the heart of Dewey Beach. Our condo is located just one block from the beach and one block from the bay in the popular Opal Complex. You'll feel like you are in your own "home away from home" in our condo with it's welcoming open plan living area and fully equipped kitchen.

Walk out the front door and take a short walk to the beach. Head back to the condo for lunch by the pool, head back to the beach, shop the outlets, spend the afternoon at a water park, play a round of mini golf, or just grab a book and sit by the pool all day. Your vacation, your rules. After a fun day at the beach, jump on the Jolly Trolley and head to the Rehoboth Boardwalk and Funland, or check out the best in fine dining in Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey. Of course you can keep it simple and BBQ at the poolside grill. After dinner, if you're so inclined, join in the festive Dewey Beach nightlife.

Our condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, AC, Cable and WI FI, TV's in each room, and comfortably furnished throughout. The condo sleeps 6 with a queen bed in each bedroom and a queen sleeper in the living room. For those of you with children, there is a great tot-lot and small bayside park located just around the corner.

The condo is available year round, weekly during the summer, and we have a three night minimum stay during the off-season. Partial weeks and weekends may be available on a last minute basis during the summer. Contact OWNER for more information and rate information. Rates are not negotiable.

Great, convenient place!

Our family (2 parents, 2 grandparents, 1 toddler) all had a great stay, one block to the beach, a playground at the end of the street. Very walkable and easy trolley ride or short bike ride/drive to Rehoboth beach boardwalk. Clean, plenty of room, and easy to respect the rules.

We stayed here and enjoyed it very much... Very clean and the location cannot be beat. Great communication with owner. I was trying to think of any negatives, but I can't. We would stay here again if we come back to Delaware.

Great getaway

The condo was just as advertised ... clean and bright. There were some provisions already there. Location was excellent. Right off the main road but quiet. One block to the beach and one block to the bay. Very convenient to stores and restaurants. Would definitely rent this place again.

Excellent Condo! Great experience!

Renting this condo for the weekend while attending a NASCAR race a few miles up the road was perfect! The communication with Kara & Eric was excellent and securing the rental was easy and painless. Instructions were well communicated and the unit was great. It was right across from the beach in a very safe area. There were many food and shopping options within walking distance. It was well decorated and well stocked with everything that we needed. I would highly recommend this unit.

Beautiful condo steps from the beach

Keira's place is beautifully maintained and a great spot to take a break from a hectic life! It was even closer to the beach than I realized - seriously maybe a 3 minute walk. The condo is even more spacious than the pictures look. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week. Great water pressure in the showers. The bedrooms were both a good size and on opposite sides of condo which was nice as we had some remote work to do while there. We didn't use the pool a lot, but it was clean and very relaxing. We were a group of 2 adults, one who teleworked a bit. Wifi was great the whole time. The condo is very quiet, truly a great place to relax and unwind. Can't recommend highly enough. One final thing to note, we did travel during covid, but when you walked in you could tell immediately how well the place had been cleaned before we arrived. We appreciated that a lot and didn't even end up using all the lysol wipes we brought just in case! People at the condo pool were respectful of distancing as well.

The condo was very clean, well maintained, spacious and well stocked. Location was excellent…walk to beach, restaurants, playground, night life plus convenience store. It overlooks the pool. Parking provided (two spaces), elevator available. Stay included two adult couples and a 4 year old child. Both bedrooms have a queen bed and guest room had a convertible chair/bed which was perfect for a child. Communication with the owner was great also!

This is a nice two bedroom condo. The pool was great alternative to the beach. A fully stocked kitchen was nice to have too. It is across the main street from the beach, but there is crosswalk with a button to activate flashing lights. We would come back here!

Great updated condo with open floor plan. All the amenities were provided by the Host. Really key that the condo had 2 full bathrooms. Location was perfect for walking to the beach, sound and local restaurants.

Quick Visit to the Beach

Location is great and is a short walk away from the ocean. You do have to cross a major street, but the crosswalk is adjacent to the building. The pictures were an accurate representation of the place. We had a little mix-up with the condo not being cleaned before our arrival, but the property owner reached out to me before I'd had a chance to contact her and refunded the cleaning fee along with a little extra for our trouble. We wish it hadn't happened, but the owner handled it in the best way possible. Our biggest complaint was that we spent a lot of time packing paper products, towels, and linens only to find that the condo was already well stocked! We used the linens we'd brought, but nothing else. Kind of a shame since we drove in a small car with four adults and the unused items took up a ton of room. Additionally, some minor things should be fixed (noisy belt on the dryer, doors in front of the laundry won't close), but the condo was otherwise in good condition.

We are so glad you had a nice trip and again apologize for the missed cleaning. I noticed the squeaky dryer belt in late August when I was down for a day to check on the place and re-stock paper goods. The extra linens are provided "just in case" but really prefer people bring their own linens as we do not provide laundry services.

We live in the Washington DC area but love to get away to the beach as often as possible. Since we met in Dewey Beach, married in Lewes, DE and have vacationed there as singles and as a married couple, and now a married couple with toddlers who have somehow become young adults in the blink of an eye, we still love Dewey Beach!!! Just park your car and walk everywhere......

Why they chose this property

The Opal Condominium is a well built, well maintained complex located in the heart of Dewey Beach. We love the pool and the BBQ grill just outside our door. We are also lucky to have 2 parking spaces for every unit plus visitor parking. All off-street which is really nice, especially in Dewey Beach! We know a lot of the owners and everyone is friendly and wants the Opal to be a great community where your entire family can relax and enjoy their vacation. Our renters come back year after year to enjoy all that the Delaware Shore has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Walk everywhere!! Dewey Beach is a great place to relax, make new friends and enjoy all the Delaware Beaches have to offer! The kids love having the beach, the bay, pizza and ice cream so close that we rarely drive anywhere once we arrive. Monday night is movie night on the beach and Wednesday night is bonfire night......great fun for the entire family. My Brother-in-Law would not be happy unless I mention Wings to Go as well....
Once the weekenders leave on Sunday, the beach is quiet and all yours to enjoy!!!
