Very nice apartment in an excellent central location

Elio's apartment is very nice with amenities and space to support a long-term stay. My spouse and I stayed for a month and found it an ideal location from which to visit many sites in southern Italy.

Great location; great terrace to enjoy the sunshine!

The description & photos accurately portrayed the property (ie., no lift, spaciousness, updated/trendy) so the 98 stairs to the top floor weren’t a surprise! Given the historic area, age of the building & after some rains perhaps, some drainage/pipe odours needed flushing w/ bicarb which the host was quick to communicate this solution to us. Enjoyed our 6 night stay at this property!

Unusual rooftop property

This is a quirky property located on the roof of a building - we did find it appealing, but many people would not. It is located in the vibrant, busy Spanish quarter of Naples. Description fine, stairs didn't bother us, but it was colder than we expected (December stay). Loved looking at the views of the palace on the hill.

Nous sommes arrivés à la location , personne pour nous accueillir. Nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à joindre le propriétaire, nous étions loin de prévoir ce qui nous attendait. C'est en fin de compte la femme de ménage qui nous a ouvert. Déjà descriptif erroné. Pas d'ascenseur, 5 étages et demi à gravir. Appartement sale ,la femme de ménage avait dû être prévenu bien tard. Une seule climatisation dans une chambre. Nous sommes restés 2 jours au lieu de 4 , vu le manque de propreté et la chaleur. Nous avons donc été obligé de réserver des chambres d'hôtel, des frais supplémentaires. Quoi vous dire d'autres sinon d'éviter cette location pourtant sympathique par les photos.

Description bluffante mais mensongère !

Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur comme spécifié, et le dernier étage est difficilement pratiquable avec enfants ou bagages. On nous a même proposé un treuil inadéquat et dangereux pour hisser les bagages jusqu'au 4ième! L'appartement doté d'un 120m2 est pour moitié une véranda qui fuit en 2 endroits lorsqu'il pleut. L'air conditionné n'est présent que dans une chambre, et donc dans la seconde, il y fait très chaud et pas question d'ouvrir les fenêtres tant il y a de bruits dehors. La seconde "sdb" n'est qu'un WC dans lequel on a rajouté une douche, mais inutile de vouloir prendre 1 douche simultanément dans les 2 "sdb", le débit de l'eau étant trop faible. Le linge de maison est succinct. Il va sans dire que le prix de la location est surestimé. Seul atout de l'appartement: sa situation, idéale pour visiter Naples à pieds, en métro, en train, en funéculaire et proche des ferries.

Great location and views in quartiere Spagnioli

This apartment is in a wonderful old building, centrally located for the buzz of downtown Naples and is near Metro stations. There are 99 steep steps and no lift so would be impossible for less mobile people. This should be flagged on the web page. A major issue was that it says 2 bedrooms, and the photos suggest this. However, it appears that the bed covers have been changed to give this impression, whereas when we arrived, the second bed was a sofa bed in the living room. This was not adequate for two smallish adults and would have been very difficult for larger people, and there is no clothes storage space in the room either. We thought we had carefully chosen a two bedroomed apartment, so this was disappointing for us.

appartement agréable très bien situé

L'appartement d'Elio, construit sur les toits, est grand et agréable en avril car pas trop chaud. Situé dans le quartier espagnol, quartier un peu bruyant mais permettant de rayonner. Les chambres sont bien isolées grâce au double vitrage. Elio s'adapte à la composition de la famille et a installé un lit pour le plus jeune enfant. Seul problème rencontré: un pb de chasse d'eau défectueuse, qu'Elio a essayé de résoudre pendant notre séjour.

Difficulté à avoir un contact avec le loueur ou autre personne. Au moment de l'arrivée, aucun numéro de téléphone transmis ne répondait. Sans maitrise de l'italien, je ne pense pas que nous aurions trouvé les clefs de l'appartement. un peu désolant.

If you are looking for a romantic cliché in Napoli, come to this flat and experience life in the Spanish area. Nice restaurants, friendly neighbours and you are close to the Maradona wall !!!

Fantastic apartment

We loved staying in Elio's cool modern apartment. Its a real contrast to the bustling vibes of Quartiere Spagnoli. The area is a great place to stay, a short walk to the main street (Via Toledo) and Galleria Umberto and the metro. It's a short distance to the sea front and up to Spaccanapoli. And it's really close to cheap Sprtiz bars! So the location is perfect. The apartment was clean, stylist and very comfortable. The terrace and the views are amazing. The stairs will keep you fit and totally worth it. Would love to stay again. Wifi worked well and there were no problems with picking up the keys or communicating with Elio.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Naples. L'appartement est très spacieux et très agréable. La terrasse absolument magnifique, avec une vue splendide sur la Certosa Di San Martino.
