THE VIEW
Mt LeConte, straight ahead, with nothing built between you and it. A picture window frames it from the living room, the deck looks right at it, and so does the hot tub. Morning mist settles into the valley below and burns off by mid-morning; in autumn the whole ridge turns.
`The view from the deck and picturesque windows was heavenly as touted and the chalet was lovely. It was serene and soothing soaking in the hot tub, listening to the crickets and katydids.` — Fred, `22

One honest note, because our guests have told us: the loft is cozy and the pool table sits close to the walls. A short cue is provided and it gets used. It is a fine table for kids, for a casual game and for a family tournament — not a full-size table with room to line up every shot. If a serious game of pool is your deciding factor, we would rather tell you now.

BEARS
Black bears move through this neighborhood regularly, and guests watch them from the deck, the hot tub and the living room windows. Mothers with cubs come through in late spring and early summer; solo bears any time of year. No guarantee — they are wildlife — but this address has one of the best track records in Gatlinburg. Keep food inside, car doors locked and windows up, enjoy sightings from a safe distance, and never feed them.
`We saw 10 bears — all near the cabin or in the neighborhood while driving down the mountain.` — Randi, Jul `25
GETTING AROUND
`Awesome view! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to be minutes from Gatlinburg.` — Brittney, Apr `23
The bypass makes Pigeon Forge and Dollywood quicker than the map suggests. Downtown Gatlinburg, the Sugarlands park entrance and Ober Mountain are all a short drive down the mountain.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have private access to the whole cabin, the private deck and the hot tub. Smart lock entry and easy self check-in — your code arrives before you do. Free curbside parking for two vehicles. We are available 24/7 by message and phone.
SECURITY CAMERAS
Two exterior security cameras are positioned outside — one overlooking curbside parking, one covering the front deck. Both record actively and are exterior only.
ROAD ACCESS
Familiarity with mountain driving is necessary for this cabin and for driving around the Smoky Mountains. There is one steep quarter-mile stretch and one hairpin switchback near the cabin. Front-wheel drive handles it comfortably in fair weather; we recommend all-wheel drive or 4x4 in peak winter (typically Dec 15 – Feb 15) or any time snow or ice is forecast. Arrive in daylight your first time. If ice makes the cabin unreachable, we refund those nights.
HOT TUB
For your safety and enjoyment, the hot tub is thoroughly cleaned and refilled between each guest. It may not be at your desired temperature on arrival, as it takes time to heat up. Feel free to adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan to use it — never exceeding 104°F for health reasons.
PET ALLERGY ALERT
Our cabin is a dog-friendly home. While our cleaning team is thorough, it is impossible to remove every trace of pet hair. Please consider this if anyone in your group has severe pet allergies.
HOUSE RULES
1. No parties or events allowed.
2. Vape pens, smoke, incense, candles and illegal substances are not permitted in or around the cabin.
Please remember, you are staying in our home, not a hotel. We kindly ask you to treat the space with respect. Should any issue arise during your stay, please tell us immediately so we can put it right.
