Not impressed

Great neighborhood and location. But overall vacation home was not the best. You can’t get a hold of a real person to contact regarding the stay. There was not trash bags, and other items stocked in the house for guest. Not impressed for the price and think there could have been a more luxury for visitors.

Okay for what it is

Cramped and awkward floor plan. You’ll want to make sure to go to the beach every day, all day. Surrounding area is quaint and pleasant.

Pictures provided on site doesn’t truly match the current conditions of the rental (outdated). The air conditioning unit failed one day of our stay & they did send a technician out to resolve but well after the sun had gone down. The location was great, but smaller than it looks with cleanliness lacking as a focus of the overall property.

Great Stay

We enjoyed that the house was centrally located to the nearby beaches. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. The pool is very nice and well taken care of. The A/C works great and the hot water is hot. It is 3 stories, so if you have small children just be careful with them going up and down because the stairs are steep and do curve. The kitchen is small, but gets the job done. It is missing a few essential items, like a cutting board. The fridge gets very cold and by the end of our trip, most of everything was frozen even after turning the fridge temp down twice. We didn’t use the pull out couch for sleeping because the mattress was dirty, but we had plenty enough space for all of us with between the bunk beds and the master bedroom. The wifi is spotty, but it was fixable by restarting the router. We did enjoy our stay, and we would stay here again because of its location and the price point for this area.

Charming house

This house provided what we needed, very basic amenities within walking distance of beach, restaurants, shops etc. Neighborhood was very calm and quiet. House was basic but provided a landing pad and privacy.

Mini vacation

I was able to book this house on very short notice and for 2 nights. Most places had a higher minimum stay. The house was very clean and fit our needs perfectly. I would recommend staying here. Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend this property to any elderly people, or people with small children. There are just too many stairs to navigate. Property is is dire need of some TLC.

Beautiful house with a great location

Vacasa upgraded me to this stay after i had problems with my original rental. The home was beautiful and the kitchen was very convenient. The wifi doesn’t work although it wasn’t much of a problem as we like to unplug while we’re on vacation. The location was great, not too far of a walk from the beach and there is an ice cream shop about a three minute walk away which was lovely. Although we were provided with bikes, all tires were flat. Lucky for us we don’t know how to ride bikes.

Basic home, close to the beach (not a walk)

My husband and I booked this Vrbo for our anniversary. It was just the two of us so it worked well for what we needed. It is tight on the main level (dining/kitchen/living) but has what’s needed and we appreciated the kitchen to cook. The TV pulls down in front of the laundry closet (it took us a minute to figure that out) Pros: Comfortable beds, hot shower, 2 decks to sit out on or dry towels. Quick walk to the pool/gym, coffee shop, ice cream shop and restaurants. The kitchen has what you need (minus a cutting board) and everything was pretty clean, except for some ants. Cons: it’s not a walk to the beach, and it doesn’t include bikes or a golf cart. It’s a quick easy drive, but you’ll have to find parking which is easy on weekdays, not as easy but not impossible on weekends. It would be a 10/10 if it has a golf cart included. There were quite a few ants in the kitchen. And it would have been nice to have a broom/dustpan to sweep up sand. Beds were comfortable, and showers got hot and were clean. WiFi didn’t work at first, but Vacasa was quick to help and we got it working the next day.

Small home in a nice location gated community with a really nice pool home needs a lot of work when we arrived porch was covered with leaves dirt it was almost black had to sweep to get all of that off the blinds on the doorway half of them were sitting to the side in the hallway there were knobs missing off the dressers the downstairs shower was not working the sink upstairs in the kitchen leaked there was mould around the fan in the bedroom on the last day that we were there using the washing machine the washing machine started overflowing underneath the door. Pretty area just house not taken care of received message on how we felt about house and cleanliness when arrived was told local agency would call us never heard from anyone spoke with an agent on way home she states someone would call me its been 8 days since we arrived and left nothing

Great Location

It was centrally located to beach access and bike trails. My kids enjoyed the games at the communal area. The price was reasonable. The house is small. It is ideally suited for a family of 4 or less. Our family of five felt very crowed in the living and kitchen area. The toilet on the second floor did not flush and the one on the third floor ran constantly. The bed in the master room was not a queen but a double and the headboard was falling off and a draw was missing from the platform underneath. The leg of one of the kitchen chairs was also precarious loose. The downstairs tub had no stopper and this was an issue with younger children. Also, the front door handle fell off and we had to reattached it in order to leave the house to enjoy our trip. We called Vacasa and it took them two days to send a repairman to us. The maintenance man was very nice but would only fix the issues when were were present. As we already had scheduled plans none of the issues were fixed except for the door knob being tightened and a rubber stopper being provided. I was not going to spend my vacation waiting for them to show up to fix issues on a property that is not even mine.

Great price for the area. Pool onsite was great and it was approximately a 5 minute drive to public beach access. I would argue on whether or not it’s walkable distance depending on factors such as children, beach supply, etc. it’s 0.7 mile distance . . . Great neighborhood and friendly atmosphere!

Great location

Central located location and beautiful neighborhood. Place needed some maintenance done on building, TV cable did not work in all TVs and the WiFI needed to be called upon but management staff was very responsive to our requests.

Overall Stay

The staff was very pleasant and responsive to my messages. The property is not well maintained. We left it better than we found it. The sheets were dirty. If someone sleeps on the sofa bed no one can get through the tiny living space. The frame of the shower was coming apart. The faucet would not quit dripping. The outdoor space has not been cleaned in some time.

Wouldn’t stay here again

Layout is weird and small and steep steps from bedroom to living room to bedroom. Front door blinds are broken, two bikes with flat tires on porch, broken handle on bathroom sink, bathroom mirror with stains on it, tiny tiny living room, toilet in kitchen won’t flush. Upstairs queen bed was so hard and uncomfortable that I had to check to see if it was actually just a box spring (it was indeed a mattress, but it was literally the worst bed I have ever slept in). It was just very cramped and uncomfortable in general. Definitely overpriced for what it is, and I have rented in Blue Mountain and Grayton for years and have much nicer places for about the same price. Honestly, the state park cabins are much nicer and with better beds.
