Massive, well-equipped game room and backyard in the heart of Fredericksburg!

Fernweh Haus is a beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that can sleep up to 8 comfortably. This home includes fully equipped chef's kitchen, large detached game room, gas fire pit, screened in porch for alfresco dining and expansive backyard. There is a brand new, very comfortable sofa sleeper in the living room.

Perfect for group getaways or family vacations. Located just a few blocks from Main Street.

A 7% City of Fredericksburg hotel tax is included in the nightly rate.

- Remodeled in October 2019, everything is brand new!
- Convenient Fredericksburg location - 7 blocks to Main Street, 10 minutes from Boot Ranch, 30 minutes to Enchanted Rock, or just tour the Texas Hill Country!
- Nearest Commercial Airport: Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, 3600 Presidential Blvd, Austin, TX 78719 (83 miles away)
- External security cameras that record video and audio are located at the front door, near the firepit and the back patio/BBQ. Additionally there is a motion detector/sound level sensor in the game room.

- No smoking
- Pet free home. Owner's are allergic.
- Guests are responsible for any costs associated with unclogging sewer due to items besides toilet paper being flushed.
- No events, parties or large gatherings
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Additional fees and taxes may apply
- Photo ID may be required upon check-in
- One night stays considered upon request

This was such a nice house! The owners were so warm and welcoming in their communication with us about our stay. The house was pretty much spotless, with everything you could need to have a good vacation. The beds were so comfortable. Lots of room in the house to spread out. Loved the screened in porch area. Beautiful cardinals and a nice soft wind chime blowing in the breeze was lovely, along with the beautiful flowers outside. Would stay here again, for sure. We even walked to town one day.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a fun and comfortable trip. We especially loved the outdoor space and game area it’s perfect for entertaining and relaxing. The host’s communication was fast and responsive, which made everything super easy. This was a perfect stay. The house was well done with lots of space for a family with adult children. Kitchen is well equipped. Very close to Main Street but we had done a 7 mile hike at Enchanted Rock the day before so we drove and parked. Comfortable and inviting furniture for lounging. We could not be happier

The house was perfect location far enough from the main street that you don't get alot of traffic but close enough if you want to go you can get there quickly.I love the outdoor entertainment area and the whole house was spacious that none of us felt like we were crowded. Beautiful property. Tv didn’t work then the owner Tim showed up and fixed it really quick. Clean and perfect. But I was a little upset that a claim was filed for a pillow missing. No one took a pillow. Maybe it was missing before or misplaced. A little disappointed. Over a 5 pillow

This guest “found” the missing pillow sham after we shared the video proof and apologized for the mistake. However, he also brought extra guests, over our max. He didn’t abide by our house rules re quiet hours….had music playing outside after midnight, moved indoor furniture outside and moved all 4 lounge chairs into the living room. It would be appreciated if the guests returned the furniture to the original spaces. They also left the big trash bin at our front door instead of returning it to the carport where it was. The bath towels were all heavily stained and required extra cleaning/bleach.
