We loved this cozy cabin! We felt like we were deep in the woods away from civilization, even though other cabins and stores were nearby. Lots of room for our family to relax both indoors and out. Really nice bathrooms with walk-in showers. Nice and clean cabin and well-stocked. Would happily stay here again.
This cabin was great for our family of 10. The patio surrounds most of the house and was a great gathering place for everyone to hang out after a long day of tubing at the lake. It was a nice peaceful retreat and the family had a great time. Would recommend this property if you have a full crew. Communication with the management team was easy and they responded very quickly.
The overall stay was nice. The cabin could’ve been cleaner and the beds could’ve been a lot better for the price. The upstairs bathroom could have had more hand towels.
The back deck was especially nice and we spent most of our time there.
Do not book with Kiamichi Cabins. We booked the cabin bear necessities a month in advance. When we arrived to the cabin the owner was having a party. Apparently he was aware that the cabin was booked. They decided to canceled our reservation . It was very unfortunate. Waste of gas!
We thoughly enjoyed our stay at Bear Necessities Cabin. It was extremely well appointed with fire wood, comfortable cushions for all outdoor seating areas, and possibly the best kitchen appliances anywhere we have stayed. We enjoyed the quietness and solitude of the cabin and our little walks around the area. The herd of deer was my wife's favorite thing. Unfortunatly, the weather did not cooperate and stopped us from hiking as much as we wanted, 20 degrees is too cold for this group.
To make a long story short, we had a great time and I think you will too.

The house was as expected. We had difficulties finding the driveway after dark when we arrived. It could be better marked even with reflectors. The house itself fit us well, was lacking in the family room area. Not enough room to sit. We had 6 adults. There is no hottub, the fireplace outside does not have a regulator on the gas so be careful. The only real complaint was someone should have blown off the leaves from the patio.
We had a great time here. Will consider coming back again. Our only complains are the internet was slow and disconnected every now and then. And the blankets didn't smell clean. But as a getaway it was nice. We spent a lot of our time on the patio area enjoying the fresh outdoors.
Hubby and I brought the kids up for spring break. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. This cabin was the perfect size for 2 teens, 2 kids and 2 adults (with extra room). We spent most of our time exploring around the town. There is so much to do! We loved spending our evenings on the enormous wooden deck, making family dinners and sitting next to the fire. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and slept comfortably. The back patio was my favorite part, we spent each night by the fire.
