Nestled in the peaceful woods near Beavers Bend State Park, Kickin` Back offers a charming retreat designed for couples seeking a romantic getaway, or small families looking to unwind in nature. This rustic yet cozy cabin has everything you need to leave the hustle and bustle behind and simply relax.
From the moment you step inside, you’ll feel the stress melt away. Kickin` Back features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and enough space to comfortably sleep up to six guests. Whether it`s a special weekend away with your partner or a fun-filled family trip, the cabin’s comfortable and welcoming atmosphere will make you feel right at home. The cozy gas fireplace (seasonal) is perfect for cool evenings spent curled up inside, while modern amenities like cable TV, free Wi-Fi, and a coffee bar ensure you have all the comforts of home, even in this rustic setting.
For a little bit of fun, challenge your partner or kids to a game on the foosball table, or step outside to play a round of horseshoes and enjoy the private covered decks, where you can soak in the hot tub or fire up the charcoal grill for a casual meal. The large lot is surrounded by towering oak trees and a small seasonal creek that attracts wildlife, adding to the peaceful, natural atmosphere. Whether you`re looking to take in the sounds of nature or simply sit back with your feet up, this cabin is all about `kickin` back` and letting time slow down.

Kickin` Back sits on a spacious, wooded lot, offering the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience. In just 10 minutes, you can reach local attractions, restaurants, and shops in Hochatown, making it easy to explore when you`re ready to venture out.
Since 2010, this cabin has welcomed guests who are looking for a serene place to reconnect and recharge. Recently refreshed both inside and out, Kickin` Back now shines brighter than ever as a prime spot to kick back, relax, and enjoy life at a slower pace. Please note, this cabin is not pet-friendly, so you can truly enjoy a calm, clean environment tailored for your escape.
So whether you’re looking to spend quality time with your loved one or treat your family to a much-needed getaway, Kickin` Back is the perfect place to put your feet up and savor the beauty of nature.
During your stay you will have access to all unlocked areas of the property. Cabinets, closets, and any outbuildings which are locked are not available for guest use.
The amenities provided for each cabin are for the use of that cabin only.
You will also have use of the following at each Kiamichi Cabin:
- Fire pit – firewood not provided
- Free Wi-Fi
- Grill – most properties have a charcoal grill, a few still have gas grills.
- Hot Tub
- Washer and Dryer

Which leaves you more time to experience the splendor that is Broken Bow.
Located in the heart of Kiamichi country lies the incomparable splendor of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Beaver’s Bend State Park, the Ouachita National Forest and the Kiamichi Mountains, this is the place to lose yourself in hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing. The place to find yourself while surrounded by tall pines, crisp rivers and clean mountain air. The place to make memories that you will draw on for a lifetime.
The Beavers’ Bend / Hochatown area does not have public transportation. There is at this time a private ride share company that will pick up and drop off between most cabins and area attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. There is currently not any Uber or Lyft options.
All cabins located in the Hochatown area are 5 to 15 minutes from most destinations around the lake and park. This of course depends on traffic. Summer and other peak holidays experience higher traffic, typically Fridays after 2pm and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm. Offpeak weekends and midweek stays should expect shorter traffic times
Cabins located further north of Hochatown are an additional 15 to 30 minutes from the Hochatown area. This additional distance should not be impacted by traffic.
The park and lake itself are free to enter, there is however a fee to park.
During peak periods you should plan on a wait at most restaurants.
This property is NOT pet friendly.
Security Cameras on premises - external only. Cameras monitor entrances to property 24/7
Check in time is 4PM or later. Check out time is 11AM. Additional fee of $100 will apply to late check-outs unless otherwise approved. All cabins are Non-smoking. RVs, Campers, and Tents are not allowed to be used on cabin property, overcrowding fees will apply. ATV and similar vehicles are not allowed to be ridden on the cabin property. The use of Fireworks and/ or Guns is prohibited on cabin property. Hot tub covers are to remain in place when not in use. Do not stand, sit, dance, or otherwise use the cover for anything other than its intended purpose. Pets are welcome at Kiamichi Cabins on a Cabin by Cabin Basis with the following restrictions: Maximum of two (2) dogs. If bringing a single dog, the weight limit is 80lbs. If bringing 2 dogs, the weight limit per dog is 40lbs. No dogs are to be left unattended. All dogs must be kenneled if left at cabin. Dogs are not allowed on the beds or on the furniture. An additional fee of $20 per night will apply - regardless of how small or cute your dog is. Property damage or excessive cleaning will incur an additional expense.
