Love this property

Property is close-by to all the Grand Strand has to offer. On the beach with an indoor heated pool. Suite was spacious and very clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Everything there was beyond our expectations beautiful scenery quality from top to bottom in the rooms. Perfect location and have everything at our fingertips oh, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky for a week not quite sure how they manage that, but that was included.

We enjoyed the resort. This part of Myrtle Beach was quieter than where we have stayed in the past. Great access to beach and resort amenities. Staff at property was friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

We attend a dance competition here every January and this property was perfect for the four of us (two moms/two teenage dancers). Great layout and easy walking distance from the hotel ballrooms!

Winter Getaway

My wife and I decided to get away from the cold and snow of Pennsylvania and spend two weeks in Myrtle Beach. We had been there before, on a similar vacation and me on a golf trip with friends. So, we were very familiar with Myrtle Beach. The property was fabulous. Very clean, very welcoming and a great home away from home for our two week vacation. We will definitely return and would love to return to the property.

Myrtle Beach Marriot Oceanwatch

The accommodations were great. The disappointing part was that VRBO did not inform us was we had to change rooms 3 times. They did not transfer enough points and we had to pack up during our stay with our kids and move rooms. I found that out when the Marriot was confirming which was not right. We booked a week for one accommodation. VRBO should have communicated or transferred enough points to fix it. We were disappointed.

Rest and relaxation

We had a wonderful time at the Marriott Ocean Watch Villas. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We had an ocean side view that was beautiful…..just as good as ocean front. The bed was super comfy too! We were traveling with my sister and family and requested to be in the same building and they accommodated our request. The main pool was beautiful and we enjoyed the daily activities for the kids. They had fun with the cornhole, ping pong, and basketball court as well. The beach was clean but there were large jellyfish washed ashore.The only thing that we would’ve like more was if there was more of a variety of restaurants or places to grab food. The Starbucks was nice but quite expensive. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely return!!

Dishonest representation

Review chat history - I was clear immediately following the reservation that we needed to be in one of the 3 front buildings due to the age of my mother and the tradition that we were attempting to continue, taking grandkids to the Activity Center. I didn’t receive notification that we were booked in a garden suite until we had missed the cancelation window. The check in desk said owners determine points used to secure a suite in front vs back. I believe the host was fully aware my request/requirements would not be met and withheld this until it was too late. As a result, we were not able to leverage the facility as we had in the past and will no longer be using VRBO to book outside of directly with owner of property.
