About this property

Oviedo Charmer - Heated Pool - Close to everything

This Oviedo House is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood that comfortably hosts a family, group of friends, couples or single traveler.

The layout of the house includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and a private master bathroom. One bed room has a queen bed with a full sized dresser. The last bed room also had a queen bed . There is also a pack and play on the property for the real little ones (upon request). We have a pool and it is heated.

We have keyless entry. 24 hours before your stay we will give you all information needed to check in at the appropriate time.

Let us know if there are any questions or concerns and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Though our home is a little secluded, we have fantastic neighbors. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing as you will have tons of privacy on the property. You may feel that you’ve traveled to a different world, but grocery stores, restaurants, and other businesses are minutes away. The best of both worlds!

This house is close to the expressway so there is white noise during your stay.

Early check-in or late check-out is possible, but this will need to be approved and there is an additional charge for this service as we have to bring in an additional cleaner to have the home ready in a shorter period of time.

We allow up to 2 hours for early check in or late check out. We charge $20 per hour for these additional services.

Please no eating in the bedrooms.

Guest not part of the reservation are not allowed on property. If you have more than 6 guest at the house there will be an additional charge of $50 per person. (This is for overnight and VISITING guest). Your reservation will also be canceled.

Property has security system for managing exterior of house. Please do not tamper with these devices (exterior Camera's or internal base station) as this can cause your reservation to be canceled.

Great house! Would stay here again

Beautiful home! We stayed here while interviewing for a job. House and pool were very clean and beautiful. The home is located off a main road but back in with some very old homes. Plenty of space between properties. This location didn't bother us at all. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Very nice vacation

Good location nice pool clean easy access. Only cons I can come up with is it had pour water pressure, and traffic noise. Other then that I have nothing bad to say, we really enjoyed our stay

Roomy house with lots of updates

Great house. Very clean and everything updated. large rooms with lots of comforts. It is next to the highway, so a bit noisy but overall very happy with the property.

Great house noisy location

House was very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were really comfortable but very high -a stool would have been helpful. Kitchen was nicely equipped. The pool looked lovely but sadly, it was too cold to swim. I would stay here again.

Private and perfect

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It is very private with a beautiful open concept with a large family room and big kitchen. The large bedrooms are beautiful and open. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. There is a walking trail close by for bikes or walking that we enjoyed too. Our family loved this home away from home. The owners were available for any questions or needs we might have. We will definitely make this our place to stay when we come back to the area.

The highway is next door,

The house itself is not too bad, a bit old but should have been ok if it will have been better cleaned inside and outside as there are things everywhere in the garden. The pool equipment is not installed and laying around in the garden. The most important is the noise of the highway 417, we cannot sleep for the 2 nights we were there, so bring your earplugs. Last, we were really surprised that there is a charge to have an early check in.. Overall we were not happy at all and will not return there ever.

Hmmm Not Sure

Let me start off by saying the Host Taurance was very pleasant to work with! Very Kind! But to advertise this is a 5 Star Premier Host makes me question VRBO policy of a "premier" status! This house was very spacious, we loved that! It had a heated pool, that was awesome! Not clean but warm! I had to buy a skimmer net to clean the pool. The pool lounge chairs were gross! Not taken care of! Water sitting on them from rain before we arrived, they needed a good cleaning! WEEDS around the pool pump and heater have not been cleaned up in quite some time. The screen around the pool had moss growing on it. There was just no TLC for the grounds or pool area! A pressure washer does wonders! Windows on the doors had not been washed for sometime. The floors in the house were dirty. We had 1 washcloth and 1 towel per person! No kitchen dishcloth! I truly believe that the master bed sheets had not been washed before our arrival. The beds were not comfortable they all made loud noise when you moved. The mattress covers are very HOT! The couch cushions were very soiled. No propane in the fire pit to be able to use that! The faucet in master bath has the handles installed backwards! Kitchen sink handle was loose and took a while for hot water, & that was an issue everywhere. The space had potential and host was responsive. With better attention to cleaning and maintenance, this could be a 5 Star place to stay! I may be OCD but I like my money well spent!! This was NOT! :(

Bringing Family Together

The owner is very kind and willing to go out of his way to accommodate. For example, one of our concerns was that my husband needed a place to work during our stay. The owner responded to our need by creating a wonderful home office workspace in the master bedroom that worked perfectly. He also installed TVs in 2 of the bedrooms which made our stay more enjoyable. Overall, the home was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. The owner was quick to respond to our needs. The road noise did not bother us and the big tree provided wonderful shade while swimming in the pool. The kitchen was nice and spacious but since I was cooking full meals for our family it would have helped to have all of the necessities (the owner did go out and purchase a mixing bowl and measuring spoons which was helpful). I am guessing he will continue to fill the kitchen with the basic tools needed to cook for future guests- in the meantime, I was glad to have brought my mixer and Instapot with me. I recommend adding more mixing/serving bowls, a hand mixer, whisk, cake/bread pans, more cupcake pans, better toaster/microwave, better selection of cooking utensils, and better quality pots/pans. A keurig would also be a nice addition. We did have an issue with red ants outside, but know the owner was in the process of having the bug guy come. He also was working on improving the water pressure as that did make taking a shower a little less than perfect. Adding a door on the master bathroom itself would also be a nice addition. Being such a responsible owner that is responsive to guest needs, I only see him making the space even more accommodating over time.

Wish my stay would have been better ....

Let me start off with the positives - Easy check in process because owner uses a key code process. Master bed was comfortable. Split layout was nice, since we traveled with two families. Now for the negatives - The house is not easy to access. When the asphalt road ends, you are welcomed with a HUGE hole that you cannot get around. Then you travel down a completely dark dirt road through houses that are quite scary and ran down. The outside of the property is grown up with random trash on the property. The privacy fence is falling down and a liability if you have small kids. When we arrived the house was dirty, we actually contacted the owner and asked if the property was even cleaned prior to our arrival. There was food in the sink, hair and old food in the refrigerator, the ovens were nasty including a grease pan full of old bacon, the floors left our socks and feet black where they were not cleaned, smelled like a wet dog, and this is just the beginning. If you plan to cook, be sure to pack your whole kitchen. There was VERY LIMITED kitchen supplies. We had to take turns drinking coffee in the morning because there are only four coffee cups. We had to make rounds of dinner because you could not cook enough food with the pots and pans supplied. Plan to eat out every day if you stay here. If you plan to grill, be aware you have to supply your own gas for the grill. We came home after a long day and could not eat because we had no gas. When we contacted the owner he told us it was our responsibility. We had issues every night with the living room TV and the fire stick the owner has. We contacted him several times. He did come twice, but we ended up just giving up. My kids were stir crazy and found a movie and watched it, not knowing there was a charge of $5. The owner texted me at 3:30 in the morning questioning me about it. I told him I would pay for it, which we did. The property is located beside a busy highway. If you are a light sleeper - DO NOT STAY HERE! The sound of traffic is 24-7. There was absolutely no water pressure in the house. The master shower looks amazing until You have to shower. The water comes out in a cold trickle and makes it impossible to wash the shampoo out of your hair. Every day I would dread taking a cold shower. My family travels a lot and this has to be the worse rental we have ever stayed at. I hate to be negative, but I would not recommend to anyone.

Loved our stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for a baseball tournament and with the price of small hotel rooms, I’d much rather stay in a house with plenty of space and privacy. The unplaced path to the house really didn’t bother me. The house was lovely - spacious and clean. The pics online really don’t do it justice. The beds were comfortable and I really liked the double shower in the master bathroom. We had fun in the pool and the water guns and pool toys were a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay

Taurance was very responsive & attentive. He noticed an issue with the heating before we did & was sure to have someone fix it on a Friday night. The house was comfortable & spacious. The house is tucked back so don’t let the short drive to it throw you off. There is a nice amount of land, it is close to the highway but was a wonderful stay for us with our daughter & her new puppy.

Lovely spacious home perfect for family vacation as right off the 417.

We stayed here the night of Dec 25th thru morning of Dec 29th, 2021. This home was incredibly clean and everything looks practically new and never lived in. Wonderful home and spacious with an ideal location close to 417, Walmart and Publix grocery which made it ideal for our visiting family in the area. We also went to Legoland and Kennedy Space Center with about an hour drive for each..

Fantastic place to stay

When we walked in we immediately thought the place was even better than what the pictures show (and that hardly ever happens!) Don't judge the road it takes to get you there, i'll be honest we were skeptical while driving to it, but once getting there you are secluded and have a nice roomy house. We were allowed to bring our pets and it had a nice fenced in yard for our dogs to run around in. Host were great checking in to see how things were going and if we needed anything. Would def stay again.

Pretty Rotten Egg

First and foremost, the lasting impression of this property for me is the worst smelling water I've ever smelled in my life. I have used well water before and have smelled sulfur in the water, but never to this extreme. It was rancid. I seriously almost passed out from the smell while taking a shower. We read other reviews about this and thought that that’s just how it was. We were only here for two nights and was busy during the day, so we just dealt with it. We notified the host on checkout day and he seemed thankful and said he would change the filter. Then i thought to myself, why didn’t anyone do this before our stay? Do they not clean the place between visitors? Do they not check for this known problem? Staying here was uncomfortable to say the least. The host seemed nice enough, but there are a lot of rules and a lot of ways they can add additional charges this was a little unnerving. I haven’t noticed any additional charges at this time, but it felt like we were on the show big brother with the cameras everywhere. Overall this place was kind of a let down. We all kind of felt like we got ripped off. I felt bad for finding this place and suggesting this to my friends and their baby. We wanted to like it, but it just wasn’t a good experience. It did not feel like a home away from home. We will not stay here again. And i would not recommend this place.
