About the host

My sister Jenny has lived in Lincoln County over 30 years, and when our Dad came up to be with her, I started thinking about getting a patch of timber for a camp. One thing led to another, and we've found ourselves rescuing perhaps the oldest continuously inhabited home in Bristol. Local craftsfolk led by Jenny pitched in, jacking, hewing, wiring and plastering, and now we'd like to share the space with you.

We hope you and your family find joy staying in this remarkable home.

Why they chose this property

Superb location for day trips and adventure throughout the mid-coast, or curling up with a stack of summer reading. House has plenty of nooks and several acres of meadow and orchard to explore. The boat landing at the end of the property is a great spot for dock fishing or setting out on a kayak tour of Pemaquid Harbor and Johns Bay. Deepwater mooring available.

What makes this property unique

One of the larger properties in Bristol, with an intimate scale and deep history you can join. Also, one of the better libraries.
