We are surrounded by the Trnavka reservoir near Zeliv and Cervena Recice, in the Vysocina / highlands region of Czech Republic. We have 3 Log cabins, all fitted out for self catering holidays. We are open all year round, weather permitting. We have a great childrens play area, swimming pool (seasonal), all cabins have WC and heating. There are great attractions nearby and we are very familly friendly.
Ideal for Walking, Cycling, Fishing (with permits), photography, barbeque and outside bonfire / familly areas

Urlaub wie in der Kindheit

-wunderbare Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern -es war unproblematisch, 2 große Hunde mitzunehmen -genau die richtige Mischung zwischen unkompliziert und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet, um sich echt wohlzufühlen -die Holzöfen verbreiten mollige Wärme, Holz wurde gestellt -das gesamte Objekt wird liebevoll gepflegt, eine Bank am See, dazu idyllische Ruhe... Wir werden wiederkommen.

Wunderschönes Häuschen in toller Lage, super Gastgeber

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Zeliv. Auf dem Gelände standen nur 3 vermietete Hütten, daher hat man sehr viel Ruhe und es ist sehr Familiär. Die Gastgeber Ian und Kim waren spitze!!! Haben sich immer erkundigt ob alles ok ist, Tips für Ausflugsziele gegeben und waren immer für einen Schwatz zu haben. Man merkt das Sie lieben was Sie tun und sehr viel Herz in Ihre Anlage stecken. Die wunderschöne Lage direkt am See kann man auf dem Gelände auf der Schaukel, in Hängematten oder auch "dem view" genießen. Lagerfeuer und Grill standen immer zur Verfügung! Für Katzenfreunde gibt es immer was zu kuscheln oder zu spielen. Auch Kinder haben im Hideaway immer was zu tun. Es war einfach toll und wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Leider falsch beschrieben

Auf der Webseite wird die Hütte mit zwei Schlafzimmern beschrieben, leider ist nur 1 Zimmer mit Etagenbett und einem Einzelbett zur Verfügung!! Die andere Schlafgelegenheit,ist im Wohnraum, durch eine Gardine getrennt,also keine Privatsphäre!!! Es finden sich reichlich Spinnenweben in und außerhalb der Hütte,auch im Dusch Bereich, sind reichlich vorhanden, auch die gesamte Außenanlage, ist leider nicht mehr so wie sie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Der See ist umgekippt, sehr viele Grünanlagen und tote Fische,also zum schwimmen nicht geeignet,auch der Spielplatz für die Kinder, ist sehr Renovierungs bedürftig.

We are very sorry you did not find the natural forest living up to your standards,im afraid in the forest where we are cob-webs will be found in abundance,and it doesn't matter how many times we try to keep them at bay they will return over night, The lake is not always green ,it was unfortunate when you came that the weather was really hot and formed the algae to grow ,which makes the lake look very green, again not our fault, I cant see why you think the the pictures do not reflect the property,we have not photoshopped anything,they are exactly as it is,what was missing? what was differant? I agree the childrens play area could do with some new equipment,and shall be looked into as a future project.thank you for your review it was most helpfull.

Schöne Lage, herzliche Vermieter

Wir waren zum Ausruhen und Wandern gekommen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und schön. Die Vermieter sind total nett und hilfsbereit. In der Hütte hatte man alles was man brauchte. Im Wohnzimmer wäre eine Leselampe für Abends noch ganz schön, auch für die Gemütlichkeit. Außerdem hätte es etwas sauberer sein können. Für den Ofen stand nur Holz und keine Briketts zur Verfügung, dadurch war es Morgens doch sehr kalt in der Hütte. Alles in Allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe genossen. Ich würde aber nächstes mal etwas früher kommen, wann es noch wärmer ist und man mehr draußen sitzen kann. Dann kann man auch den Grillplatz und den Feuerplatz nutzen und an dem wunderschönen Seeplatz sitzen und entspannen:)

Thank You for taking the time to post a review of your stay with us. It was a great pleasure for us to have you as guests so late in the season. We are sorry that the small lamp was missing from your cabin, but it was broken by the previous guests and we did not even know about it being broken until the day of your visit. Please be assured that it has been replaced. Our policy is to make our guests as comfortable as possible. and have invested heavilly in new wood burner heaters and new flooring throughout all the cabins. We also provide as much wood as you need, free of charge, a free packet of lighter blocks and even matches to light your fires. We cannot however provide free briquettes due to the cost. They are readilly available from the local petrol stations and supermarkets, however our guests usually manage with the plentiful supply of twigs and cones from the forest to help light the fires. We also note your comment about the cleanliness of the cabin. Kim and I clean the cabins thoroughly before the arrival of every guest and we can only appologise if we missed something in this case.

Wonderful family holiday

We loved our stay at the Hideaway. Our children had so much fun there, we all wished that we had stayed longer! Kim and Ian are wonderful hosts who provided help and advice well beyond what was necessary. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Wir haben gleich wieder gebucht! Es war einfach herrlich! Sie sind mega lieb, hilfsbereit und immer für einen da! Das Häuschen ist toll und man kann die Seele vom Aufwachen weg bis zum Schlafen gehen baumeln lassen! Wir hatten unsere 2 Hunde dabei und die liebten es dort! Freuen uns schon auf das nexte Mal

Einfach klasse. Romantisch und voller Natur

Wir waren drei Tage zu Gast bei Ian und Kim. Eine schöne Zeit. Beide sind sehr bemüht um ihre Gäste und helfen, wo immer sie können. Die Hütten sind gut und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Familienhund schaut auch gerne vorbei und begrüßt seine Gäste freudig. Die Terrasse am See lädt zum verweilen ein. Wir freuen uns auf ein nächstes mal. CU next time. Best regards. Great place for a quiet vacation within a beautiful natural scenery by the lake

We enjoyed three nights in a comfortable, cozy and wood-fired cabin with our English Bulldog and it was fantastic! Located within a scenic landscape the area offers Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The owners Ian and Kim with Casper, a gentle labrador, are friendly and helpful- thanks for an unforgettable stay!
