Our private Cozy House has just been renovated! We put in a new kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and a big 4k smart tv. It's in a friendly neighborhood located in the heart of Waterville only five minutes from Colby College, Thomas College (by car) and just a few minutes from downtown Waterville. Everything is very close to our location. There's a Hannafords nearby, Maine General Hospital and many restaurants, schools and stores. We are located on a private dead-end driveway.

My son and I stayed here for two nights while visiting my daughter at Colby. It's a very quiet, comfortable place and we enjoyed the proximity to the college and downtown Waterville. It was very hot during our stay and I can attest that the AC works well! The laundry machines looked brand new and we appreciated being able to have clean clothes after a week on the road. I was a little nervous about the August app but we never had a problem gaining access. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Waterville.
Cozy House is wonderful! We try to stay here every time we visit Waterville. Great location for us and the house is spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything you could need. Andrea is a kind and responsive super host.
The accommodation was super clean, comfortable and very well furnished. We felt at home. We would have loved to stay longer and can recommend the house without reservation.
Everything about the stay was excellent. The interior decor was charming. The owners seem to have anticipated every need. The cottage could use an exterior paint job so that it matches the beauty of the interior. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this vrbo listing. Thanks to the owners for a great get away experience.
A lovely cozy house, well situated close to downtown and easy access to stores. The house was very clean and tidy. Cozy and felt like home, and worked out well for our Thanksgiving break with our college students. Would use againnif dates worked out.
We stayed for a few days and this house had everything we wanted. Close to everything we needed, good communication with host, the house met our needs and is just as advertised.
We were very pleased with this property! It was clean and so cozy. The mattress on the bed was comfortable and every detail was thought of to make our stay more enjoyable.
We were attending an event at Colby College, and the house and location fit our needs perfectly. Very nice, clean, and comfortable and we felt right at home. Andrea was responsive and helpful in all communications. Would stay again when in the area!
We celebrated my uncles 80th birthday, we stayed right down the street from his place. The place was clean cozy and comfortable. It felt like home. The surrounding area outside was amazing where we hung out wit a fire and smores. A very memorable weekend. Thank you!!
We stayed at this house for a family reunion. It was perfect in location and style. The design was great to give our adult daughter her own space. The furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The house was immaculately clean and spacious beyond our wishes! The host was quick and sharp with anything we asked.
Although the outside still needs some attention, the inside is clean and cozy just as advertised. The inside is updated and the kitchen is clean and inviting to use. The bathroom is also updated. Nice home, would use it again if in the Waterville area.
This was the perfect little nest for a weekend getaway to go to a show at the Waterville Opera House. It's in a very convenient location for downtown restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Andrea was excellent with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be looking into staying at the Cozy House for future visits to Waterville.
What a lovely artsy home away from home. Fun little details all over the house. My son is in college and I was able to cook homemade meals each day. Comfortable, clean and spacious. I will be back!
Andrea was amazing! Not only was she an excellent communicator, the place was VERY clean, kitchen was redone and bathroom was a great size, she even came and mowed the lawn and watered the plants to make sure everything looked great! Downloading the app was a breeze and Andrea walks you though the process - felt very safe! Will stay here again.
Off a short dirt road so we passed it the first time we were trying to find it. Might be easier to see in the daylight. No draw backs - excellent stay.
The house and its location is lovely. I reduced the length of my stay before the required deadline, and I did after a lot of calls and messages eventually get a refund from the host for the nightly charges and from VRBO for the taxes. However, the host, Andrea, charged me a $225 guest fee for a total of 4 people staying 4 nights despite the listing stating the house sleeps 4 and the guest fee is $10. I explained the overcharge but she still refused to give me a $145 refund on the guest fee. Advice for potential renters of this house: Check your invoice closely before you commit, and if you need to change your length of stay, cancel the reservation and start a new one.
The home's exterior was weather beaten, paint peeling everywhere, a rougher cut than expected from online images. A warning from owner would have prepared us (winter weather damage? repainting soon?) but curb appeal was downright scary. It didn’t help that our communication w/owner was somewhat halting. Ex: after carefully reading entry instructions, we downloaded a 150 Mb app called August providing us w/ house access via an electronically-activated lock. After 15 minutes waiting in the driveway for app to load, & spending another 10 minutes registering, we discovered an email from host indicating that door was unlocked w/keys on the table. Owner annoyed we missed an update while traveling w/spotty internet.
Home spacious, bedrooms w/AC & clean, exception was bathroom where black hair from previous guest was left sticking to the plastic insert shower. This is a very basic VRBO, big kitchen & living room, plenty of coffee makers, large & uncomfortable couch where guests either sink low or hit the wooden frame when leaning back. Most VRBO owners welcome you w/a note or some indication that they're in the hospitality business. In contrast, we were greeted w/handwritten warning signs (w/lots of !!!) w/out simple directions on how using an unfamiliar stove. House furnished w/scattered & drab remains of other homes. We have stayed at VRBOs for years & this isn't the quality we have come to expect. Perhaps good for families who need space w/large TV while visiting Waterville.
