About this property
"La Clé des champs"-T2 (42m2)-Garage optional-Meublé tourisme*** (furnished holiday home)
Superb apartment (45m2), on the ground floor, quiet and bright, with quality services (double glazed windows, HD TV, Wifi, intercom etc ...).
It is located on the 3rd floor of a beautiful Haussmannian building secured by intercom in the city center (opposite Palais CongrĂšs & Mercure **** hotel) 130m from Paul Riquet alleys, the historic center and Poets Park, 1km from the center cinema and train station shopping and 15km from the beaches.
The apartment is composed of a living room with open fitted kitchen, 1 bedroom suite with integrated bathroom.
The location of the apartment allows you to easily discover our beautiful region because of its proximity to the A75 and A9 motorways, and the beaches of Marseillan, Cap d'Agde, Grau d'Agde, TamarissiÚre, Valras, Vias, Sérignan, Vendres, Portirages but also towns and villages with a superb historical heritage like Pézenas, St Guilhem le Désert, Roquebrun..and very beautiful wine estates ..
I highly recommend as sites of interest;
1-Béziers city center
On the eastern banks of the Orb, is dotted with religious buildings and historical monuments.
2. The locks of Fonseranes
The Fonseranes locks are a set of eight locks with eight ovoid shaped basins which constitute the third most visited tourist site in the former Languedoc-Roussillon region.
4. The arenas of Béziers
It is in this historic site that many cultural events are held, including concerts throughout the year.
5. Saint Nazaire cathedral
Built on the site of an ancient Roman temple, this Gothic-style building was erected on a rocky promontory.
6. The Canal du Midi
You can hike or cycle along the banks, or rent a boat to navigate the waters of the canal, from Béziers to Marseillan or from Béziers to Toulouse.
7-The gardens of St Adrien
Voted "Favorite Garden of the French" 2013 on France 2, this landscaped garden was built on several levels, in a quarry dating from the Middle Ages to offer a stopover of freshness under the sign of magic and serenity.
8-Pézenas
Pézenas is a city of Art and History with a beautiful heritage: many mansions from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, such as the Lacoste hotel, the Malibran hotel or the Alfonce hotel one after the other. And pretty cobbled streets lined with craft stalls lend themselves to strolling. Pézenas also has the distinction of having been MoliÚre's place of residence in the 17th century.
9-Chateau de Cassan
At the ChĂąteau-Abbaye de Cassan, there is a 12th century Romanesque church, a majestic semicircular building, the last vestige of the Medieval Priory, and its 18th century convent building, designed according to the impeccable canons of classical aesthetics which earned it the name " little Versailles in Languedoc ".
10-The pond of Thau
The Etang de Thau is the largest pond in Languedoc.
It is a major attraction for the inhabitants of its superb shores as well as for visitors and has given birth to a series of craft activities including oyster farming.
11-Saint Guilhem the desert
Spiritual stage on the Way of Saint James of Compostela, Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert is a small medieval town that is one of the most beautiful villages in France.
12-MourĂšze
Located in the heart of the Hérault department in the Occitanie region in the south of France, MourÚze is a charming little village of 200 inhabitants which offers you a breathtaking landscape, unique in France!
13-Lac du Salagou
It is the family destination par excellence since everyone can find happiness among the many activities such as tasting wines from the Causses-et-Veyran estates in the country of Saint-Chinian and the many nautical and hiking activities.
