With its water park, slide and children's games, it opens its doors to you in its 14-hectare estate in the heart of nature. Our campsite in Lozère with water slides is located in Chastanier on the wild coast of the lake, near the Gorges de l'Allier, it has direct access to the Chapeauroux river. But also 8 kilometers from Langogne where you will find all the shops and regional products at the markets under the halls. The Les sous bois du lac campsite is 1000 meters from Naussac lake and 2 km from the leisure center which offers you multiple outdoor activities. In this village of Margeride, whether with family, in a group or as a couple, you will find accommodation that meets your needs.

In high season, you can enjoy in our Naussac campsite with heated swimming pool, children's entertainment supervised by a qualified animator, the playground with its 27 m zip line, its trampolines, its volleyball court, but also the water park and water games, the lively evenings and the restaurant/bistro of the campsite "L'Ephémère".

The campsite offers you in high season, children's entertainment with 2 age groups: 5-8 years and 8-12 years, and Teen entertainment managed by qualified animators. The bar/restaurant/snack/ice cream, open July and August welcomes you 7/7 in its 2 large bar and restaurant rooms and on its terrace facing the swimming pool. We offer 1 concert and a dance evening per week, as well as themed meals. A family favorite campsite, your children will navigate safely in the campsite and on the playground.

Go to LANGOGNE, from Langogne, take direction Lake Naussac, then direction CHASTANIER (left at the crossroads before the D34 lake), from this crossroads the campsite is 8 km away, follow the signs Les Sous BOIS FROM THE LAKE, THE CAMPSITE is at a place called BESSETTES HOW TO GET TO LES SOUS-BOIS DU LAC BY CAR We are located in Lozère, in the village of Chastanier, close to Langogne and Lake Naussac.

• From Clermont-Ferrand, follow the direction of Le Puy-en-Velay and then Langogne (N102). Upon arriving in Langogne, follow the signs for Lake Naussac. Before reaching the lake, follow the signs to Chastanier. The campsite is located just a few minutes away on the wild shore of Lake Naussac. Follow the signs for "Les Sous-Bois du Lac".

• From Lyon, take the direction of Saint-Étienne, then Le Puy-en-Velay (RN88), and continue to Langogne. In Langogne, follow the signs for Lake Naussac, then Chastanier, on the lake's wild shore. The campsite is clearly signposted.

• From Montpellier or Southern France, head towards Mende via the A75, then continue to Langogne (RN88). At the entrance to Langogne, follow the signs for Lake Naussac, then Chastanier. The campsite is signposted.

Once you arrive in the area, simply follow the signs for "Les Sous-Bois du Lac" to reach the campsite entrance.

BY TRAIN The nearest railway station is Langogne, located approximately 10 minutes from the campsite by car.

The station is served by regional train services connecting Langogne with Clermont-Ferrand, Nîmes and Mende.

Once in Langogne, you can reach the campsite by taxi or car-sharing services.

The journey itself offers a wonderful introduction to the landscapes of Lozère, with its forests, plateaus and wide-open spaces.

BY BIKE ? The campsite is also accessible by bicycle for touring cyclists and cycle travellers.

Located near Langogne and Lake Naussac, it is surrounded by an ideal cycling environment, with quiet roads and varied landscapes.

Depending on your route, you can easily reach the campsite via Langogne, then follow the signs towards Lake Naussac and Chastanier.

Arriving by bike is a peaceful way to discover the area and enjoy nature from the very first moment.



Accommodation: The Premium cottages offer a very comfortable space inside and outside, ideal for a family. The master bedroom and children’s room with 3 beds 80 cm, a bunk bed, a bed and a trundle bed. The common room with its American kitchen and large windows that can be fully opened extends onto the covered terrace. In front of the cottage in nature you will find a garden furniture to relax before or after meals.
