Fantastic Holiday, thank you Marlene!

We had a fantastic stay at Marlene’s beautiful home. The pool area, the outdoor kitchen not to mention the projector set up in the main living room was just perfect for our family vacation. The house itself is so well equipped and has everything you might need! It has also restored to a very high standard and is the perfect mix of traditional and modern contemporary. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to the area.

Perfect for Kids!

Amazing villa with everything you could need during your stay. Very well set up for kids with lots of toys and games. The pool is very shallow at one end, great for the kids. Can’t rate this place highly enough. Loads of space and so so peaceful with great views! Only a short drive from shops, activities and restaurants. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. Looking forward to staying here again.

Great stay

Communication beforehand was good (but neither of us spoke each other’s language- google translate to the rescue). Marlene was there to meet us and show us around - again translate was a God send. Had a great stay, no problems. Would definately go again if we’re in that area again (more weddings in local chateaux required). Thank you

Very nice for them who search for some pease

Nice and big object... Marlene was helpful and answered always quick. We enjoyed the stay with our three kids this one week and had not the urge to visit the surrounding, even we did it occasionally. The pool was great for the kids. The only thing was, that there has been a bit to many „fragrance-plugs“ in the house.

Lovely family holiday

We had a fantastic stay at the property. We were there as a family with 4 young children. All of us enjoyed the pool everyday and there were a lot of things for the children to enjoy as well - they loved the play kitchen. We all had cinema evenings and enjoyed the outdoor BBQ. Marlene was particularly helpful, as there were a couple of things we needed during our stay and she answered very quickly and dealt with anything quickly too. The pool was clean and the house was much bigger than we expected. Thank you also for your kindness at the end of our stay, marlene, due to our cancelled flight.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem Ferienhaus, vor allem wegen der schönen Erlebnisse beim ersten Aufenthalt. Auch diesmal hatten die Kinder viel Spaß – besonders die vielen Spielmöglichkeiten wie die Tischtennisplatte und die Bar kamen gut an. Ein großes Plus ist die Klimaanlage, die an heißen Tagen für angenehme Temperaturen im Haus sorgt.Allerdings mussten wir leider feststellen, dass sich das Haus seit unserem letzten Besuch nicht weiterentwickelt hat. Im Gegenteil: Es hat qualitativ etwas nachgelassen. Die Ausstattung wirkt inzwischen etwas in die Jahre gekommen, und es fehlt an Pflege und Modernisierung. Der Teppich im Schlafzimmer sollte ersetzt werden, in der Dusche gab es Schimmel, und ein gutes Brotmesser – z. B. zum Baguette-Schneiden – fehlte komplett. Der Pool war leider trüb, und einige Planken um den Pool herum splittern mittlerweile, was nicht ganz ungefährlich ist.Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt okay, aber leider nicht mehr so schön, wie wir es in Erinnerung hatten.Wir hoffen, dass künftig wieder mehr in Pflege und Erhalt investiert wird – das Haus hätte es verdient.

Traumhaus in wundervoller Umgebung

Das Haus und insbesondere der Garten mit Pool und unzähligen Liegemöglichkeiten ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll ausgestattet. Es fehlte nichts - es gab sogar 3 verschiedene Möglichkeiten um Kaffee zu kochen ;-). Wir haben uns mit unseren vier Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt.

Alles in allem sehr geeignet für eine große Familie mit Kleinkind oder überhaupt Kindern. Sicher, kein Verkehr, Pool vorhanden, Tischtennisplatte aber keine Bälle und eher schlechte Schläger usw. Aber sehr viel Platz und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten auch bei schlechtem Wetter. Ansonsten gut ausgestattet und empfehlenswert. Halt französich - aber deshalb reist man ja auch da hin!

Mécontent et mise en danger

Maison belle de loin mais loin d’être belle - Annonce « maison piscine au milieu des vignes » mais piscine ni chauffée ni couverte et une eau à 18°. Même dans le 34, une telle piscine est inutilisable la majeure partie de l’année. Annonce trompeuse/mensongère - Coupure d’eau de 4h le samedi matin. Le voisinage a dit qu’il s’agit d’une situation récurrente. Même pas une bassine dans la maison, nous nous sommes lavés à l’eau minérale dans essoreuse à salade ! - Pare-douche pas adapté à la taille de la douche et pas étanche … de l’eau partout. Pour éviter glissades/inondation, nous avons acheté des serpillères (pas une dans la maison) - Installation électrique hors d’age, limitée et en partie non conforme. Pour mettre les chauffages d’appoint dans les chambres, il fallait choisir entre lumière et chauffage … et quand les chauffages fonctionnaient avec d’autres appareils, cela faisait sauter les plombs ! - Incendie de barbecue : Grillades sur barbecue à gaz mais lorsque nous avons éteint le gaz, rien à faire, les flammes continuaient … après 5 min, nous avons compris qu’il ne s’agissait pas de la graisse de notre cuisson. Pas d’extincteur, nous avons pris des seaux d’eau de piscine pour éteindre le feu. Mais le feu continuait dessous, en fait le tuyau de gaz avait une fuite et était en feu …Malgré la chaleur, il a fallu mettre la main pour couper le robinet de la bouteille de gaz ! Bref, un séjour à oublier et une location à plus de 1400 euros pour 6 jours … bien chère payée.

Marie Claire Je prends note de votre commentaire. Cependant laissez moi éclaircir certain point. 1. Pour la piscine que vous n avez pas pu utiliser, il n est pas mentionné qu elle est chauffée ni couverte ,je ne commande pas la météo malheureusement et votre semaine au mois de Mai a été très pluvieuse et des températures très basses .Même dans le sud parfois il ne fait pas très beau ! 2.Pour la coupure d eau qui m attriste fortement vous oublié de mentionner au vue de la gêne causée ,j ai desuite trouvé un rdv chez un coiffeur pour pouvoir vous laver les cheveux que j ai réglé la note pour vous dédommager. L eau est revenu à 11h du matin la coupure à été d une durée de 3h et comme je vous l avez exprimé j en suis extrêmement désolée. 3.Pour les chauffages je n ai jamais eu de problème ni pour le barbecue . Vous mentionnez que mon annonce est mensongère à votre goût, je ne peux accepter une telle accusation à croire que mes hôtes du monde entier n ont pas la même appréciation que vous .Je n ai jamais eu un tel commentaire depuis 8 ans ,j espère pour vous que vos prochaines vacances seront à la hauteur de votre exigence qui me paraît extrêmement élevée. Je mets tout mon cœur et mon énergie pour bien recevoir mes hôtes pour qu ils puissent passés des vacances agréables avec des bons souvenirs de notre région. Apparemment pour vous cela n a pas été le cas et j en suis encore désolée .

Ein rundum wunderschöner Urlaub

Das Ferienhaus liegt ein wenig abseits in Mitten der Weinberge. Das ganze Haus war überraschend groß und geräumig. Es war alles vorhanden was eine Familie mit 4 Kindern benötigt sowie zusätzlich eine Tischtennisplatte, Kickertisch diverse Spiele und noch einiges mehr. Wir haben dort eine richtig tolle Zeit verbracht.

Die Unterkunft ist genau wie beschrieben... etwas abgelegen und ruhig, wie wir es wollten und trotzdem in der Region so , dass alles relativ schnell erreichbar ist. Das französische Flair lässt über manche Ecken hinwegsehen, die aber auch nicht weiter erwähnenswert sind. TOP für Familien mit Hund.

Das Haus ist sehr schön aber leider etwas verlebt.Gut war die Klimaanlage.Die Spülmaschine und der Herd waren veraltert.Die eine Toilette lief plötzlich aus und wurde nicht repariert.Was aber schlimm war :Der Pool wurde scheinbar nicht gesäubert.wir bekamen alle vom Poolwasser einen heftigen Magen-Darm-Infekt .Auf die Bitte an die Vermieterin das Wasser kontrollieren zu lassen kam sie entnahm eine Probe und behauptete es sei alles okay.Wir haben uns aber nicht mehr ins Wasser getraut.Der Pool wurde die ganze Woche nicht gereinigt und kein Chlor reingegeben.Die Filteranlage schien auch nicht richtig zu funktionieren.

Il est à regrets que votre séjour ne vous est pas convenu. Cependant la maison est conforme aux normes française et au photo posté .Le lave vaisselle a 2 ans ainsi que la gazinière mais peut être pas assez luxueux à votre gout. Les analyses des eaux de piscine se sont retrouvées saines et comme je vous l'ai dit sur place j'ai chlore la piscine ainsi que vidangé le jour même de votre déconvenue qui vous conviendrez aux vues des analyses n a rien de responsable de votre contamination. Pour en finir avec le toilette en panne qui fut bouché à la suite d'un non respect d'hygiène conformément au panneau sur le mur.Et je tiens à préciser que 3 wc se trouvaient à votre disposition . j'espère chère Ava que votre prochaine location vous conviendra . Haus für Urlaub in Coronazeiten ideal. Für uns 3 Paare ideal. Haus und Pool perfekt für uns. Lediglich kleine Kritikpunkte. Die Spűlmaschine funktionierte erst, als wir die Zitronenkerne aus den Wascharmen entfernten. Das Essbesteck könnte schärfer sein. War auch ein bißchen durcheinander. Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans la maison et je n’ai rien à redire. La maison est très spacieuse et bien équipée idéale pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. L’espace extérieur est magnifique et très bien aménagé pour profiter du calme et du soleil. Marlène est une hôte d’exception, allez-y les yeux fermés.
