Poor Customer Care

The property was unlisted 6 mos ago on the site. The site, not the owner contacted me or refunded my fees (paid in full, in advance 6 months prior to removal, a year prior to the stay). Upon arriving, the current resident (of leas than a week) showed up which alerted me to the issue at hand…I was homeless. And, those en route to me would also be homeless. I was given a cap on my emergency accommodations for the weekend. There were only 2 properties in Greensboro left at a rate far above my pre-paid accommodations. I was told I was refusing the VRBO emergency housing…because it would only be for me and not the entire party. Now, I have to dance to VRBO’s tune in orfer to possibly, partially be reimbursed—although bone of this was my doing. Add, this was the 3rd stay I’d had at this property in the last 4 years. There’s no excuse for the lack of accountability, empathy, respect for safety shown towards me.

I am so sorry this happened Christie, we always enjoyed you staying at our home. What happened was about 6 months before the property became a long term rental and we canceled everything within that year. VRBO had explained that everything would be canceled by them as well. Your stay was booked almost a year out so I am not sure if we missed your booking to cancel or VRBO. Either way, I apologize and for all you went through that weekend. We have this home listed again for short term stays and hope to gain your trust back. Thank you! Peggy

We always try incorporate the outdoors in our properties. We have 2 vacation rentals in Greensboro and would love to answers questions about the area, favorite restaurants and fun things to do. Having vacation rentals has allowed us to meet some great folks from all over. We love connecting with new friends and love the life we have built here in North Carolina.

Why they chose this property

This property was so much fun to remodel. We went a little industrial to go with the vibe of the Revolution Mills that was just renovated and converted to a great living/shopping and eating location right up the street from this home. Check out everything over at the mills, you will love it!
