About this property

Relax in the most beautiful, secluded setting Sonoma County has to offer

Experience one of Sonoma County’s most extraordinary private retreats. Set on 25 secluded acres surrounded by rolling hills and open space, this architectural barn estate blends luxury, sustainability, and Wine Country serenity in a setting that feels worlds away... yet is just minutes from renowned wineries and tasting rooms.

Originally built using trees harvested directly from the property itself, the Barn was thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the surrounding landscape. From the handcrafted beams and siding to the rich wood flooring, nearly every natural wood element was milled and finished on-site.

With soaring ceilings, dramatic indoor-outdoor living spaces, a resort-style pool area, and curated high-end finishes throughout, this is Wine Country living at its finest.

Perfect for couples, families, or small groups seeking privacy, design, and an unforgettable Sonoma experience.

This one-of-a-kind custom barn offers a rare combination of modern luxury and peaceful seclusion.

The expansive great room features vaulted wood-beamed ceilings, oversized windows framing the surrounding hillsides, and a massive 80” television with surround sound centered above a stunning stone fireplace. Large tri-fold glass doors open completely to the outdoor entertaining areas, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and nature.

The chef’s kitchen is beautifully appointed with high-end appliances, custom finishes, and direct access to the outdoor dining and lounge spaces.

Sleeping Arrangements
• Two luxurious downstairs king suites each feature en-suite bathrooms and private outdoor showers, allowing guests to rinse off beneath the Sonoma sky after a day of wine tasting or hiking.
• The upstairs loft includes a king bed and queen sleeper sofa overlooking the main living area below.

Outdoor Living
• The outdoor spaces feel like a private boutique resort.
• Enjoy a large pool and spa surrounded by lounge seating, umbrellas, and panoramic hillside views. Spend evenings around the fire pit with a glass of Sonoma wine while watching the sunset over the surrounding hills.

The fully equipped outdoor kitchen includes:
• Gas grill
• Pizza oven
• Smoker
• Refrigerator
• Ice machine
• Kegerator

There is also a beautifully designed wine cave, basketball court, hammocks overlooking the property, and scenic walking access directly into approximately 1,800 acres of Sonoma County protected open space.

Whether you spend your days exploring wineries or simply relaxing poolside in complete privacy, the property was designed to create an unforgettable Wine Country experience.

Guests will enjoy exclusive use of all areas shown in the listing photos, including:
• Pool & spa
• Outdoor kitchen & dining areas
• Fire pit lounge
• Basketball court
• Kid friendly goats and pigs
• Walking trails & hammock area

Pool Heating
• The pool is not heated by default.
• Heating is generally unnecessary from July through September. During cooler months, pool heat may be available for an additional fee depending on weather conditions.
• Please note that when nighttime temperatures fall below 50°F, the pool may not be able to maintain a comfortable swimming temperature despite heating. In those situations, we do not recommend paying for pool heat.

Road Access
• The final 3/4 mile to the property is via Erland Road, which is a private road and not county maintained. While completely accessible by standard vehicles, guests unfamiliar with rural roads may prefer arriving during daylight hours for the first time.

Property Presence
• Caretakers live on-site and are available should you need assistance during your stay.
• The owners also reside in the main house approximately 50% of the year. However, guests maintain complete privacy, and all amenities and spaces shown in the listing photos are exclusively for guest use during their stay.

The Farber family moved here in June 2012. They built this upscale barn as a guest house on their 25 acre property. The barn was built to be a property that harmonizes with the local wine country environment. Their three sons lived in the barn (with non-stop visitors) while going through high school. The youngest went off to college in the Fall of 2018 and they have been renting their guest house as a vacation rental ever since.

The water is from a well on the property and is the most delicious and fresh you can have.

There is a Tesla Charger that you can use during your stay upon request.

Please note: the upstairs loft no longer includes a television. TVs are located in both downstairs bedrooms as well as the main living room.

Both downstairs bathrooms are accessible from either the bedroom suites or the main living area, allowing loft guests to access them without disturbing downstairs occupants.

Bluetooth speakers are located in all bedrooms so you can enjoy music throughout your stay.
