Well-appointed and updated, this lovely 2-bedroom oceanview condo in Ocean Pointe Resort is a delight! Located on the 3rd floor allows the guest to capture the cool ocean breezes and a wonderful view of the Atlantic. A clean and inviting floor plan and décor.

Sleeping arrangements are as follows:
Master bedroom: King bed with flat screen TV, ensuite bath featuring a step-in shower.
Guest bedroom: Two twin beds with a connecting 4-pc bath.

Maximum occupancy 4.

Stepping out for the day, you can enjoy a convenient breakfast in our cozy waterfront cafe, use our free lighted tennis facilities, swim in our huge heated pool, and enjoy a snack and a cocktail at the poolside bar, get some sun on our private beach, or just take a walk along our private boardwalk and marina. There is WiFi throughout the resort and in your apartment. The marina, with a boat ramp capable of handling craft up to 28ft, attracts many boaters to Ocean Pointe. (Reservations for slips must be made in advance of arrival.) Fine restaurants and shopping are just minutes away, along with boating, fishing, snorkeling, diving, Everglades eco-tours, glass-bottom boat reef trips, parasailing, waverunners, and swimming with the dolphins. Everything you could want for the perfect vacation!

From sunrise to sunset, you can enjoy the many activities Ocean Pointe has to offer or just relax in your beautiful, newly renovated oceanview condo and surround yourself with our tranquil environment of sixty acres of tropical elegance in the Fabulous Florida Keys! Overall, we had a great stay. Guard staff were welcoming and professional. The grounds were well maintained with plenty of activities. The suite we stayed at was very clean but could use new mattresses, sheets and better kitchen appliances.

Our unit was very nice. There is no water pressure to this entire complex. The beach is very small and not enough chairs for the guests. Description says paddleboards and kayaks for use, none to be found.

Just what we needed

Pleasant and clean condo in gated facility with large pool and jacuzzi, marina, tennis courts, and small beach front with communal area for evening drinks and watching sunsets. Friendly staff, very responsive management. And did I mention that it was well located between the great restaurants of Key Largo and Islamorada? Was exactly what this family on a dive vacation needed!

Perfect Resort

This place was amazing! It is a perfect resort/location. The pool was fun and laid back. We felt comfortable letting our 14 and 17 year olds go to the pool and beach alone. We loved that we could get drinks from the bar. The beach was great’. Super family friendly and fun for all ages. Check in was easy and the guards were friendly. We hope to return next year.

Nice location, nice view. We had an issue with the dishwasher. It had smelly stale water that had been sitting in it when we arrived and the soap cup in the dishwasher wouldn't close to hold the soap. They fixed the smelly water situation, thankfully but couldn't fix the soap cup, so we had to wash our dished by hand. Not really my plan for vaca. One of the sliding glass doors wouldn't track and was hard to open and close. The person who came to fix the dishwasher didn't even have any WD40 to help the situation. The place needs a new coat of pain and definitely a new caulk job would help the overall appearance. And the water pressure was more like lack of pressure. We asked for some compensation to make up for having to do our dishes and they basically showed us their legalese covering their backsides. Good lawyers don't always make for good business. And just cause it says one thing doesn't mean you can't do the right thing.

We’re glad you enjoyed the location and view, and we appreciate you letting us know about the dishwasher while you were in-house so we could address the standing water promptly. While the soap dispenser latch isn’t operating perfectly, it does not prevent the dishwasher from running, and unfortunately, the replacement part is not currently available. We understand that was frustrating. The sliding doors are already scheduled to be replaced with new impact-resistant doors next month, so additional repairs to the existing system just prior to full replacement wouldn’t be practical. The team member who stopped by initially was part of our rooms team, checking for a simple fix while coordinating maintenance, as same-day contractor availability in the Keys can be limited. We appreciate your additional feedback regarding paint, caulking, and water pressure and will share it with the homeowner as part of ongoing upkeep. Our goal is always to respond promptly and fairly, and we’re sorry this stay didn’t fully meet your expectations.

That particular unit has a lovely layout with lots of sun and a good view. The cleaning company does a great job and the unit was stocked well with lots of towels. My only complaint is they don't stock enough pans and casserole dishes for those of us that like to cook in a lot. We were very impressed with your helpful staff and also how organized everything was.

Unit was nice just like the pictures. Loved the code entryway.

Down fall - A friend was staying 40 minutes away and needed a place to go between activities. Since she could not get on the property she didn’t go on the trip. Sad since we were planning for a while.

Convenient Location

We love staying at Ocean Point because of it's location. This unit needs some TLC though. The ceiling light in the living room can only be on IF the fan is going AND the fan only had one speed - high! The sliding door can hardly be opened it's track is so old. The sofas are worn and it needs some updating over all. But the layout works well for us and we love Ocean Point so we will try another unit there next time.

Didn’t live up to our expectations

The unit is outdated, it could use some updates, dishwasher was broken, fabric on couches where dirty and linen/ bed smelled. The patio wasn’t even big enough to sit on, the pool area was crowded, there was litter around the sitting area. Lastly, it was noisy into the evening hours. Location was pretty good.

The kitchen has been updated with white cabinetry and solid surface counters and the furnishings relatively new there's nothing we can do to expand the patio. The summer of 2021 has indeed been a particularly noisier crowd than ever...in all our communities this summer. We are happy to see Ocean Pointe security personnel has put more stringent rules in place in regard to occupancy limits and noise allowances, which we wholeheartedly support, to help counter these types of guests in the future.
