Girls Weekend

Cutest spot to stay for a quick getaway. Plenty of room, music was playing as we entered, everything we needed at our fingertips. Would definitely rent again.

perfect. for a small family

Property was clean and lovely. Only complaint was carts not having protective covers from elements. Overall a very peaceful and perfect setting for a small family or couple

Beautiful, bright, and gorgeous views

We LOVED our stay. We had coffee every morning (drip coffee maker included) and a glass of wine every night overlooking the ocean. The weather for part of our stay wasn't perfect (a little chilly and cloudy/drizzling) but being able to stay dry and cozy while still watching the ocean and clouds roll by made even the not sunny days great. When the weather was nice, we sat outside. We brought our own tandem bicycle to bike around the island which was perfect and at night when we wanted to go out to eat used one of the golf carts included in the rental. Kitchen also had basic cooking/baking dishes which allowed us to stay in and make dinner which allowed us to save some money and also not revisit the same couple restaurants again (we went in February, the off season meant not all restaurants were open so our options were limited). Perfect stay for a restful getaway

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the property to be mostly well kept. The view really was beautiful. We took off stars based on bathroom conditions and communication. While functional, the bathrooms felt dated. Several of the sliding shower doors would not stay on track- a bit unnerving with kids using showers. Bathrooms also did not feel very clean (several stains on the floors, etc). Communication was a bit confusing based on the amount of emails sent. It would have been more helpful to have one or two emails where all information could be found in a concise manner.

Lovely Week on Bald Head

Had a wonderful week on Bald Head Island. This unit has a lovely view of the ocean from on high. Easy access to the beach, which was only minutes away and very uncrowded. Loved the new pool at BHI and enjoyed a great tennis clinic. It was quiet and peaceful in this village of condos and the beds were very comfortable. All in all a great stay at Bald Head!
