Park and never have to move your car during your whole stay! This 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom round house is located perfectly right across the road from the ski slopes. So, you could ski or snowboard straight from your door to the slopes! Perfect for a small group or family this quaint little home sleeps 6. Pet friendly with a fee. Upon entry you will walk straight into the living area where you will find a gas fireplace, a sofa, and comfortable chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to cook up a delicious meal. In the hallway you find a full-sized bathroom with a tub and shower. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom. The guest room has a queen-sized bed as well as a set of bunk beds. Perfect for a stay any season to explore the mountains.

Would stay here again for sure. Access to the slopes is almost too easy. House is an oldie, but a GOODIE!!!

Great view and location

Round house chalet is a very unique property. Enjoyed the location and very quiet for a summer stay with a few steps to the grassy ski run with many deer grazing. Good hot water for showers and a small hot tub in en-suite bathroom. Had washer and dryer in basement, but didn't use. Only stored our bikes in small basement. Close to all we wanted to do.

Great spot for our family of 4 dog

Property was great for our small family. It was all we needed. The views are fabulous and you can walk across the street to the ski slope. The drive up from the main road is a little hairy when the snow is falling. I would recommend 4wd or AWD.

Great location for skiing

Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Pots and pans are pretty old and teflon is coming off some of them. Also, bring your own hair dryer and shampoo.

The place is fine. Great views and great location of Beech Mountain. Little small and the beds were not as described. Sizes were not Queens. Little outdated but clean.

Practical home just steps from the slopes

We enjoyed our stay great location for skiing. My husband and I and two adult daughters . But The toilet in the master had a large rusted stain and the matress covers on the bunk beds had stains gross to look at if you slept under The egg matress topper could be swapt for a better matress topper .Easy fixes that would make it more enjoyable for the guest

Reviewer Comments: Point of View does exactly that - gives those staying there a new "point of view" with gorgeous views of Elk Valley, snowboarders and skiers swooshing down the slope across the street and the stillness of the mountain on a cold winter's night. It was great! The chalet was clean and had ample supplies.

Location, location, location!

Make a cup of coffee in the morning and walk around the ski slopes and enjoy the view from the top of Ski Beech! The views are GORGEOUS from the ski slopes and the proximity to them makes it a perfect place to stay. Small improvements like having the windows cleaned of the exterior and interior of the unit, and a better couch would make enjoying the interior of the cabin possible. the kitchen is cute, and there are loft style areas in the two bedrooms, which made for great fun for our kids to play in, as well as a spiral staircase to a little mud room on a lower level. Can you say "kids were occupied?!!" :)

Heaters kept up even though it was super cold outside - but we had no control over thermostat, so sometimes uncomfortably hot. Furnishings and fixtures are very dated and generally cheap feeling. Gets the job done but won’t win a beauty contest. 4wd is necessary if any snow on the ground. If you don’t require granite and pretty surfaces and nice furniture and just need a place to sleep that’s close to the slopes, thumbs up.

Needs more than one fan for whole home on hot summer weekends

This is a great little house on skiloft like many of the others without AC on Beech but needs some serious attention on hot summer weekends. There is only one fan in the main room, there are none in the bedrooms not even a portable box fan. The rooms baked and with only a small venting window we could not get to a reasonable temperature for us or our kids to sleep. We ended up leaving a night early because of this and the rental company was helpful in refunding the second night but hopefully the owner makes some updates.

This was the second time staying at "Point of View". It was interesting to see the surroundings in deep winter and again in early fall.

Perfect for a couple or small group

We went in the summer and went white water rafting, which we highly recommend! The house was about 15 minutes from our check in site at Banner Elk. Beautiful hikes nearby too! Plus, bonus, if you can walk the 1/4 mile up the slope, there is a great little bar at the top of the hill! Live music on Saturdays!

This location is literally across the street from the slope - so convenient. Cute little cabin that is very close to everything. If they suggest 4WD or chains, take notice! Great area to stay.

Has a wonderful heating system that kept us toasty. House was in need of a deep cleaning which we did somewhat. I Wondered all of the windows inside, we cleaned the ceiling fan and light fixtures and wiped down baseboard trim and deep cleaned bathrooms. Also wiped down all kitchen cabinets and doors. Vacuumed all carpets and washed bathroom rugs as well. It is ready for next visitor. There is a leak in kitchen above island cabinet.
