This place was the perfect spot for our family! It was clean, light & bright, well decorated and the bunk room was a BIG hit with our grandkids! We loved being right on the beach and we also loved the views from the balcony. We look forward to staying here again!

Family Fun!

Two families, 4 adults and 7 kids/ it was perfect! Enough room, comfy beds and right on the beach! We love the less busy beach area and don’t mind the drive to town/ it was a perfect family getaway! The boys caught so many fish night fishing right at the beach. Great place to stay!!

Great beach house!

We loved this property and will absolutely stay again! It’s right on the beach and the floor plan was great. It’s especially great for kids. House felt very clean which was so nice - the last couple of beach houses we stayed in didn’t feel as clean. It’s also dog friendly which was wonderful for our family.

Beautiful property

Perfect for our group of 12. Beautiful property and view. House was big enough for everyone to be comfortable. All our teens loved the large bunk room, it became the main hangout spot during the trip. Will definitely stay here again.

Morning glory great on the beach

The house was on the beach loved the area. Had a wedding and it was beautiful. Harris rental were very easy to work with house had plenty of room and exactly the number of rooms and bathrooms we needed. Great time with family!

Lovely beachfront house!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Morning Glory. It was spacious, airy and comfortable. The bunk room was especially nice with a lot of room and an upstairs balcony. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for everyone to eat. This area of the beach is quiet and family friendly. I do wish we have stayed a little closer to Gulf Shores, as trips into town are not quick, but if you’re looking for an escape away from it all, this is the place! And there are plenty of good restaurants around.

Great place for a long weekend getaway

Great place for a long weekend getaway. This is a very comfortable house with lots of sleeping space. It’s right on the beach. We were a little disappointed that the upstairs balcony was closed. We love that they allow dogs. You might want to bring a child gate to keep your dogs on the porch if you have pets.

Great beach house

Right on the beach! Nice house. Very clean. Great house for children and dogs. We loved sitting on the porch. We are definitely coming back to this house next year. Bring food to cook because it is a little farther out from town and they have 2 refrigerators and a huge pantry! Wifi was great too! Wonderful setting for family trip!

Excellent Experience

We had a blast at this property. We only booked it for a weekend. The check-in was easy and the house was fantastic. Very clean and spacious. Definitely big enough for two families. Being that close to the beach is so wonderful. The best part is there is no house behind it, so you won't have traffic traveling to the beach. The house is not brand new but clearly renovated and clean. We counted 12 beds. 4 bathrooms. No complaints and we will stay with Harris Vacations again!

DIFFICULT DAYS MADE EASIER

This was a very difficult time for me and the the fam, especially for children, during the 1st mother's day without mom. The location of this property was perfect, their mom was full spirited and loved bright colors, we pulled up to the house next door, I said I guess we're here guys, one of the kids said I wish it was that one!(pointing at the correct one) IT WAS (CONFIRMATION LOL). ALL STARS , location, view, rooms with views, very clean family room and deck was very accommodating for gathering!

Excellent Family Beach House

Great house for a family or families with multiple kids. The layout is excellent and allows for plenty of space for everyone. The short walk to the beach is easy and convenient and allows for quick trips in/out of the house for snacks, drinks. Overall, a great house that may need a couple of things updated, as mentioned below. Areas of feedback: I texted the property management company on day 1 to let them know I saw ants in the bedroom and all I received was a, "Thank you for letting us know." The cookware needs to be replaced/upgraded (a new set of pots/pans from Costco and some Tupperware) and the living room furniture/pillows is quite worn.

Beautiful View!!!!

Beautiful house with plenty of space, love the open floor plan and the fact that there’s 4 bathrooms. The upstairs room and area is perfect for kids!!! Wonderful view from the deck up there too! The kitchen was stocked very nicely and we never came across something that we thought was missing. Love the fact that there are 2 refrigerators!! It was great to have a gate at the top of the deck stairs for the little ones and the dog. The outdoor shower and hoses were a plus as well! Some suggestions to maybe make the house even better would be: Provide hand soap for the kitchen. For a house that sleeps 12, a bigger grill would be helpful. A table or two on the deck to accompany the lovely rocking chairs would be nice. A swiffer dry type of floor tool, instead of broom and vacuum, would be nice for cleaning up sand through the week. Also door mats or rugs at the doors on the inside of the home, not just the outside, would help out with the sand because you could shake them out periodically. Maybe stocking some beach towels and beach toys, beach chairs, umbrella, etc. would be extra nice as well so guests don’t have to pack so much. These are just simple suggestions and would not hinder us from staying here again. We loved the home and would stay there again easily!

Annual Holiday Stay

Overall a good experience. Property was as described and generally in very good condition. We had a couple minor issues but they were addressed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner by Harris Vacation. Our only real complaint is none of the living room furniture was comfortable. Sagging cushions in love seats and the swivel chair leaned forward. We suggest they either replace the foam in the cushions or replace the love seats. The home is very spartanly equipped, no real extras like boogey boards, high chairs, pack and plays etc that many other homes have. Since the whole house has wood laminate floors any sand was very noticeable. We attempted to at least twice a day sweep by hand but it would be nice to have a Dyson type sleeper available to help keep clean. One suggestion would be to take out the buffet in the eating area and change the direction of the table and light above it. The buffet is not easily accessible and just takes up room. That would make the living room ever bigger and free up space around the table. Other than that a very nice home, plenty of room and beds with a great view from the deck. A small round table and chairs on the deck for eating outside when nice would be a good addition as well. We would definitely stay there again if the furniture situation was corrected.

Beachfront Perfection

This was the perfect beachfront property for our group of 10. Being beachfront is a game changer! Not having to pack to go out to the beach and being able run back and forth between the house and the ocean in just few steps was amazing, especially with kids! There are some updates that could be done, but overall this was an amazing property. We will definitely be back to Morning Glory!

nice Peaceful place to stay! Great getaway

Morning Glory was in a great location secluded from the busy area of Gulf Shores but Restaruants near by and just a short drive to Gulf Shores. The house was everything we expected and had everything we needed. We had a minor issue with the oven not working and Harris got someone out the next day to fix it! Very Pleased with our stay!
