50th Anniversary paradise

Eight adults and three children gathered for our 50th wedding anniversary and immediately fell in love with the property— such comfortable luxury! The children enjoyed the pool and the beach so much that we rarely explored the island. Adults appreciated the private bathrooms, comfortable beds, deck, and amazing kitchen. We didn’t want to leave! In addition to our paradise surroundings, management quickly responded to our questions. We highly recommend 6 Ironclad.

HHI family vacation

6 Iron Clad is a fantastic home! The kitchen was one of my favorite spaces. It is spacious and well appointed for preparing family meals. The pool area and easy access to the beach was really enjoyed by everyone! We created so many fun memories and would not hesitate to book this home again and will highly recommend it to our family and friends traveling to HHI.

Best property we have ever stayed in!!

We recently visited Hilton Head and held our family reunion here. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious. The beach is super close and their private pool is wonderful. My husband is a wheelchair user and we struggle to find nice accessible homes-this property was fantastic. Most importantly-the hosts go above and beyond-they are super responsive and helpful. We will definitely return next year :)

Family Vacation

A beautiful property, ideally located that’s able to accommodate a large family. The decor and amenities of the house gave you a feeling of “living in luxury”. The home owners were easy to talk to and worked hard to make sure that the house was all (and more) than was promised. We’d be thrilled to visit HHI and stay at this house again!

Hilton Head Island Gem

This property was the perfect home for a family vacation! Every detail was thought of in outfitting this beautiful beach home. We shared the home with our family and were comfortable in every room! The kitchen, bathrooms and even snack cabinet were well appointed beyond our expectations. The owners were graciously helpful and available for any inquiry. This was by far our most favorite Vrbo experience. We look forward to a return to this beautiful gem and Hilton Head Island.

Absolute bliss

Cannot recommend this property enough. Everything is luxury - from the linens to the provided toiletries to the copious serving ware. We traveled with grandparents, a child, and an infant and the house was so comfortable for all ages. Highly recommend renting bikes (delivered to your door)! Every question we had was immediately answered by the owners- so responsive! We will absolutely be back.

A PERFECT home on Hilton Head!

The Hilton’s home was just beyond perfect for our family reunion and summer kick off. The thoughtful details ( fruity cereal, gummies and candy) brought huge smiles to our 8 grandchildren. The home met every need and beyond our needs. The hosts were amazing in every way as was the home. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 100!! Just lovely and perfect. I cannot say that enough! Best Week Ever!

We loved the house on Iron Clad. The pool was the perfect size for our kids and all of the adults that were with us. The three master king suites were much appreciated, also. There was so much space and so nice that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen and living area was perfect for all of us to congregate and hang out! The proximity to the beach was the best part of the trip, especially with 8 children in tow! We could not have asked for a better week or better hosts! They went above and beyond with every little detail and gift that they left us!

Home away from home

We just got home from this property, and loved every minute of it. The house is gorgeous and one house from the beach. Our two grandkids loved the quick walk to the sand. The location of the house is just perfect. Heaven equals pickleball just down the street!! The house itself is first class. Clean clean clean! Every bedroom has its own bath which is perfect for a big family with married children. Allison sent us over so many suggestions on things to do, as well as yummy restaurants. Bobby was on top of every question we had. Thank you Hiltons for making our stay so memorable. Hope to be back soon❤️

Truly spectacular!

This property was recommended by a friend and I was skeptical that it would be as incredible as she described. Fortunately for me, it exceeded all expectations! If you are a luxury traveler you will find your needs met at this lovely property. All bedrooms are en suite and beautifully appointed. The home is decorated with a chic, beach house aesthetic that is equal parts elegant and completely liveable! Our hosts were kind and accommodating and communicated with us before and during the trip to ensure we were always comfortable and that our needs were being met. We loved the accessibility to the beach (a 2 minute walk!) and took long bike rides everyday (watch out for the numerous deer meandering throughout the grounds). We loved our stay in Hilton House and that was primarily because of this gem of a property. This gorgeous home will impress even the most discerning of travelers. Thank you, again Allison for making our stay so memorable. We will be back!

Luxury all the way! Worthy of 6 stars.

We have rented dozens of VRBO homes and this was by far the nicest home of them all. It truly felt like staying at a Ritz Carlton residence (but even better). The home is so beautifully designed and decorated with high end finishes and decor and the layout allows for very comfortable group/family gatherings but also room to spread out so everyone could do their own thing. The house is stocked with everything you can think of and high end. We cooked most of the nights and the kitchen is fully loaded. We loved hanging by the pool and it was a quick hop, skip and jump to the beach which we did daily. The beach is quiet and gorgeous. I don't write reviews very often but this one was beyond worthy. The kids loved it so much, they asked if we could buy it. The owners are wonderful, easy to work with and very attentive. It was evident that they care a lot about their guest's experience. We had such a wonderful experience and will definitely be back.

Never ceases to amaze me!

This property never fails to leave me impressed, which is quite difficult to do. It is obvious upon entry that the owners have put a great deal of thought and effort into making this feel like a home away from home. The small, but noticeable, decorations tie the overall theme of the home together exquisitely. The amenities offered by the owners are top-notch; the mattresses on the beds coupled with the luxurious bed linens provide the best sleeping conditions possible; I slept like a baby. Each of the bathrooms, with their Matouk towels and Molten Brown toiletries, is like a mini-spa experience. The coffeemaker brews the perfect cup of the special house blend quickly and easily, allowing more time to enjoy the start of the day on the upstairs porch, where the sound of the waves crashing against the shore is indescribably peaceful. There are not enough words to describe this gem of a property. This is, by far, the best house on Hilton Head Island! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this property absolutely deserves at least 10! Thanks again for giving me the privilege of staying in your amazing home; I will most assuredly be back!

5 Star plus luxury home

This is definitely one home you will undoubtedly have lasting memories of your trip with your family and friends. The home is tastefully decorated with all the amenities needed. It is unquestionably the Ritz-Carlton of VRBO's. We had seven guests and there was plenty of room for everyone. Each luxury bedroom has it's own bathroom en suite. There were so many unique decorative little touches throughout the home. The open area gourmet kitchen has 2 dishwashers and room for everyone to gather for a meal at the table and island. A laundry room is located on the upper and 1st floor which is extremely helpful with the amount of towels used. It is less than 2 mins to walk from the backyard gate to the beach. They have a wagon, canopy, and beach chairs for you to use. And, the pool and spa is an amazing treat when you want to get away from the beach and relax. There is an outdoor shower, a fabulous outdoor grilling area, and a covered outdoor seating area with a tv. You can also relax on the upper covered deck to see and listen to the ocean waves. The owner was very responsive to any questions. This was our first trip to HHI and it will not be our last. Would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing House that could be rated "7 stars"

Out of all the years and many places we have rented through VRBO, including St. John's USVI, Turks & Caicos, Anna Maria Island, Orlando, and Hilton Head, this by far is the most amazing home we have rented and if able would rate it more like a "7 star" VRBO rental. The quality of the entire home including the bedding, baths, kitchen, outdoor space was more than outstanding. The hosts left no stone unturned in providing a magnificent vacation for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could imagine. We thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the cookware, dishes, the 2 dishwashers and all of the servingware when feeding our large group of 12 (9 adults, 3 children). The Thermador built in coffee maker was a special added touch that started our morning perfectly with a delicious cup of coffee which we enjoyed on the outdoor covered patio. The layout/space of each room was perfectly designed to comfortably accommodate our three families. The short walk to the beach from the adjacent private walkway made this an outstanding location and you can get a great ocean view from the upper patio. We hope to have another opportunity to stay in this first-class home in the future. The Hiltons were more than welcoming and we were very fortunate to have the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy this outstanding vacation experience.

INDESCRIBABLE!

6 Iron Clad was a dream come true for The Dunn Family! Our family of fourteen spent a week in complete indescribable luxury and comfort. Bobby and Allison Hilton have created a vacation rental filled with everything we wanted, needed and more. Their thoughtfulness to detail was abundantly evident inside and outside. They thought of everything!!! The gourmet kitchen was filled with everything we could think of and everything the recommended chef needed to prepared exquisite meals for us. We especially enjoyed the second floor veranda for early morning coffee and after dinner cocktails, and it was the perfect “play pen” for the Little’s to be able to play or nap. The spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with luxury bed and bath linens was heavenly and the kids truly loved the bunk beds. Washer and dryer access on two floors was extremely convenient for keeping up with the kids laundry. The beautiful beach was just a few steps away from the house and the pool was a wonderful respite when the breeze calmed. We also appreciated the amenities of the community being so close and at hand. We have to give credit to the property manager as he was timely and helpful to our questions and needs as well. We could go on and on and on listing all the amazing aspects of this property, it was, and is, simply put, INDESCRIBABLE!!! The Dunn Family

The most amazing house on Hilton Head Island!!

This house exceeded all expectations and must be seen to be believed! Upon arrival, you are greeted with lush, beautifully maintained landscaping that gives the welcoming feeling of a private paradise. The saltwater pool and spa provide a perfect place to unwind after returning from the beach, which is just a few steps away down the paved beach walk! Inside, you are transported into a world of comfort with modern amenities at every turn. The kitchen proudly boasts several easy to use Thermador appliances (the built-in coffee maker and ice maker were huge hits with my family!) The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated... each has its own personality! You can tell the owners gave much thought into the designs! Each bedroom has its own private bath, allowing everyone their own personal space. The provided soaps and personal care products from Molton Brown are top-notch! And the beds? Perfection! From the mattresses to the pillowcases, every night provided the most relaxing sleep I have ever experienced! Sitting on the upstairs porch listening to and watching the waves crash on the nearby shore was the perfect way to start and end each day. The outdoor living room just to the side the pool area is an amazing place to congregate after a long day of playing, with a television to occupy both adults and children for hours on end! The owners were extremely responsive and helpful not only regarding their home, but also in offering suggestions for excursions, restaurants, and other hidden gems on the island that only a true local could provide! As first-time Hilton Head Island visitors, this home was the perfect choice for us, and I am glad we decided to stay here! We will most definitely be back!

Palmetto Dunes paradise

The home exceeded the description in every way! The location can't be beat, both in terms of beach access and proximity to markets, restaurants, and other experiences. Palmetto Dunes is a beautiful area on Hilton Head, and this home's landscaping and orientation provide a perfect setting. The interior decor is clean, leans toward contemporary and composed of high end and very comfortable furniture. The layout/floorplan is perfect for multiple generations, as our children and grandchildren could occupy bedrooms on one floor while the remaining adults were located one floor above. Each bedroom is en suite, with top of the line mattresses and exquisite linens and pillows. Bathrooms are stocked with luxury Brown Molton toiletries and thick, absorbent towels. A washer and dryer are located on both floors. The kitchen is fully stocked with heavy duty cookware, and more sets of tableware and serve ware than one could use. There are two dishwashers and top of the line Wolf cooktop and Sub-Zero appliances. The furnishings offer multiple and very comfortable seating areas, both indoors and on porches and poolside. Guests will want for nothing once they see all the little touches that the owners have graciously provided for guests, including 6 different kinds of sunscreen, swim goggles and beach toys for children, totes for the beach and beach towels. The bar has been stocked with Champagne (on ice) and other high end spirits, sparkling and still water, and a selection of soda and other beverages thoughtfully placed in the refrigerator. The owners have their own "house" coffee beans provided in the built-in coffee machine, which will let you channel your inner barista. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the most tastefully decorated and luxurious home we've been privileged to stay in. The owners have made it their mission to provide a relaxing and restorative home and setting for any visit. Last, but not least, the owners and their property manager are all quickly available by phone or text. We hope to stay at this home again, since it's the kind of place where family memories are made. Family Hilton Head Vacation

6 Iron Clad was a fantastic property and we will definitely be staying again. It has great easy 2 min walk beach access, beautiful outside entertainment area and the house has everything and more than you would want. Bobby and Allison are fantastic hosts and were willing to go the extra mile to make our perfect and easy. Thanks for everything.

Beautiful!!!

What an amazing home. We rent a ocean front or near ocean house in HHI every year for the past 13+ years. This would be in my top 3. The rooms were as described and beautifully decorated. Absolutely stunning. So many little extra touches were fantastic. The kids ( and some of the adults) loved the sweets jars. Having some of the essentials like coffee, flour, sugar, olive oils, to name a few was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated. So many little things that I have never encountered in renting a house were unbelievable ( pool towels, sunscreens, beach chairs, boogie boards, laundry detergent, to name a few) as well as the other things I mentioned above. The kitchen was stocked with the most beautiful dishes, glassware and serving dishes. The coffee machine took some figuring out but was great once we started using it. The interior decorating was phenomenal with exceptional details. The path to the beach was great. We had 8 adults, 3 children 11-13 and one 2 year old and had plenty of room for all. Thank you to the owners for keeping the house so well maintained and beautiful and making our vacation one we won’t soon forget.

Fantastic. Built for entertaining. Hotel-chic finishes.

We brought an extended family together for a week at the beach. We had grandma + 3 families. 7 adults + 6 kids under 12. The house worked out great. It was absolutely gorgeous and very well appointed with top-of-the-line appliances and fixtures. It felt like staying in a luxury boutique hotel. The pool and outdoor kitchen was fantastic. The beds were luxurious and soft. The A/C kept the house VERY cold during hot July days in the south. The house isn't quite ideal for kids (very little plastic serving dishes and lots of beautiful but breakable decorations), but those minor issues are easy to navigate around. Overall, we are very with our selection. Thanks for a great stay on the island!

Lovely home

6 Iron Clad was absolutely beautiful! We greatly enjoyed our stay. We had some issues initially with the internet connectivity, but the property owners were very helpful and responsive and quickly worked to resolve the issue. The home is stunning. Thank you for everything!
