About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Richardson

My family and I lived in the Phoenix area for almost 20 years. While we love the hustle and bustle of the city, we also enjoy escaping to Pine for a quiet weekend, fresh air and cooler weather. We have three children and enjoy spending time outdoors. The Cabin is one or our "Happy Places" and we have enjoyed sharing it with others so they can also escape the city for a little retreat!
Why they chose this property
The Pine Cabin is great for families, reunions, work retreats or time away with friends. Local attractions include hiking at Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, Wagon Wheel, and local festivals. Favorite restaurants in Pine are Old County Inn, Pinewood Tavern, The Early Bird, and The Randall House. Payson is a short 15 min drive where you can catch a movie, go bowling and have a greater restaurant selection. During the warmer months, near by Blue Ridge Reservoir and Woods Canyon Lake are beautiful places to fish, kayak, and paddle board. Rental for boats, kayaks and paddle boards available at Woods Canyon Lake Marina.

What makes this property unique
This is a larger cabin just under 3000 square feet. It is perfect for hosting a few families or friends for weekend getaways or a long week in the summer to escape the heat. There are two master bedrooms and another room with a queen bed in addition to two other rooms that have twin beds. The back of the garage has been converted to a game room with ping pong, basketball, TV, and table for playing games. There is also a TV room upstairs with a large couch for everyone to curl up on. The front room has amazing views of the pine trees. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need during your stay. The back yard is large and fully fenced. There is an outdoor BBQ, fire pit and pavilion with picnic table for eating outside. There is also a small play structure for younger kids. The balcony is a perfect place to sit and watch the elk come down and graze on the surrounding land.
