Dancing Bear Cabin-Sleeps 8-11! Fantastic views and location/Close to Targhee
Oh - so much to tell you! When you arrive - the exterior is a simple log cabin, located on 2 acres directly facing the Tetons. Pull up a chair on the deck, the view is absolutely mesmerizing. The beautiful quaking aspen trees surrounding the cabin make a picturesque setting. A seasonal stream and Bear Creek run behind the property and down through the large grove of trees makes this exactly what a cabin in the west should be. Inside: absolutely charming decor that makes you feel at home the minute you walk in. Race to the 3 bedrooms to see which you want - each has its own flair. 2 full bathrooms on the main level. I love the simplicity of the place- if you want granite and steel, this is not for you! Leather, log, tapestries and a view from simply every space. The cozy living room with a porcelain stove (propane) is like an instant blanket. Best for summer - A/C - an unusual feature for this area but the fresh air is best! The open floor plan lets you work in the galley kitchen while being part of those both in the dining area or the living room. Multiple places to sit, visit, read, work (?) or just enjoy. There is an unfinished basement with 3 twin beds and a 1/2 bath - this is the unfinished basement (truly roughed in) and not a bedroom but is good for a spillover. It is cool in the summer and a great place for the kids to hang out - complete with a ping pong table. Washer and dryer are available for your use downstairs. So what makes this place special? I think the feeling of comfort the minute you walk in. With those mountains looming above you - tuck in and have your own piece of paradise.
The shop behind this property is a separate property. It has recently had work done on the interior during the evening but should be finished soon. Property manager uses this space and can be available as needed.

Really quaint cabin with a beautiful setting and magical view. Top floor was great. Lower level is a little dingy as the kids didn’t want to go downstairs but the main floor was perfect! Great spot!
This was an awesome place to stay! There were 6 of us who stayed here and we were sad to leave and go back home. We loved the town of Driggs! This home had everything we needed!!
Really enjoyed our stay. Great views of the Tetons. Tons of wildlife in the area. Had a family oh moose grazing and playing on the property. Convenient location, 5 min from town and about an hour from Jackson and the Tetons.
The property is beautiful, it was exactly what we were looking for, close to town but far enough to get the tranquility we were looking for. The cabin is straight out of a book and was so comfortable for myself, partner and the doggos! We loved it!
We chose this VRBO because of proximity to Teton National Park, Jackson Hole & Yellowstone. The house was perfect for our family and communication with the owner was great. I highly recommend! View from the patios were perfect.
This place was just what we were hoping for. A place with enough beds for our family, a view of the mountains, in a quiet country setting. This place was full of personality which I loved. I would definitely recommend it.
This location was private and the view was great. It was well stocked and roomy. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and this was a great setting. Thanks
The house is very nice, in a beautiful setting in the Teton Valley. We enjoyed barbecuing on the rear deck, sitting on the front deck, the peaceful surroundings and views, the well-kept spacious house…
We had a wonderful weekend in Driggs. The house is really nice and clean with lots of space And everything you could need. The view was beautiful and Driggs is a really cute town with great restaurants. We did a hike at Targhee one day and woke up to snow the next day - a really perfect weekend!
We loved this property! Gorgeous views and easy access to Driggs and Jackson Hole. The house is clean and well stocked. The whole family enjoyed ping pong tournaments and card games when we weren't out enjoying all there is to do in the area. The owner is very helpful with any questions or concerns. We would definitely stay here again!
We did a moms hiking trip with 6 moms. The house had plenty of space for everyone. A nice large yard. Plenty of extra blankets and extras. We would definitely stay here again!
The Dancing Bear cabin was an amazing place just a short jaunt from downtown Driggs. A great base camp for hiking with incredible views of the Tetons. Janet was extremely accommodating and we had everything needed to cook up nice meals with friends and enjoy the sunsets after a day in the woods. The house had plenty of space for the 4 of us to spread out and relax, although we spent most of our time enjoying the outdoor patios! Super fun stay, we’ll definitely be back!!
The house, the view and the host were absolutely stunning. Waking up and having coffee on deck looking at the Tetons was priceless. Yoga on the deck was something out of a fairy tail. The drive to the Tetons Park through Swan Valley was amazing. Not staying in the busy Jackson Wyoming area was priceless. Allowing our dog to stay was a huge help. The host was so nice it’s hard to describe. I felt like the host was family. Unbelievable how nice everything was!!!
Dancing Bear is a wonderful place to enjoy this beautiful area near Jackson Hole, Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. Comfy beds with room for the entire family. The view from the front deck was just beautiful…sunrise over the Tetons is breathtaking! This cabin is close to town with a very nice grocery store and some really tasty dining options. I would definitely stay here again.

Hello! This is Janet and I am an Idaho girl but married a military man and currently reside in Montgomery, AL. I love this Idaho happy place! Simply put -- the view! I wanted space around me, not a "neighborhood". I think the potential in this area for truly enjoying the outdoors is immense., no matter which direction or season.
