Beautiful property in the midst of the vines

A delightful 6-night stay in this very comfortable gîte. Very well equipped accommodation with lovely touches everywhere. The accommodation was beautifully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. Close enough to St Emilion to be convenient yet far enough away to be quiet. The mosquitoes were a pest, however, so go armed with antidotes if you need them! We would certainly return. The Leclerc supermarket was very convenient.

De eetkamer en de huiskamer zien er op de foto's veel gezelliger uit dan in werkelijkheid. Met name de eetkamer was een donkere, ongezellige ruimte. Van de keuken is helemaal geen foto en dat is begrijpelijk want die was lang en smal zonder ramen (alleen licht van ondoorzichtig glas in het plafond). Er waren wat lampen kapot. Wij waren kennelijk niet de enige bij wie dat zo was, want er lagen boven op de overloop nog wat diverse kapotte lampen.Helaas moesten wij een was doen tijdens onze korte vakantie, maar het wasrekje bleef met geen mogelijkheid staan want dat was helemaal uit zijn verband.Aankomst en vertrek gaat via sleutelkastje. Het is allemaal wat onpersoonlijk op die manier en eigenlijk straalt het huis dat ook uit. Jammer.De ligging van het huis was mooi en een grote supermarkt en een bakker op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden.

Compétition golf

Nous étions très proches du golf du Grand Saint Emilionnais où nous participions à une compétition. Les chambres sont confortables et nous avons apprécié les 2 salles d'eau.
