About this property

The house awaits you in this small village in Drôme Provençale, located 15 km from Montélimar and 15 km from Dieulefit.
(15 km from the A7 motorway exit)
It is terraced on one side at the exit of the village, but not overlooked. You will recognize it by its colored facade and covered with ivy.
On the square next to the house, shaded by plane trees are bowls and a pool with its fresh and drinkable water.
The village festival takes place on the second weekend of August (Garage sale, children's games, exhibition of old tractors, boules competition, snacks)
You will find 3 km the village of Bégude de Mazenc and its many shops: Bakery / pastry shop, Butcher / caterer, Tobacco press, U express, gas station, restaurant, pharmacy.
The Bégude de Mazenc municipal swimming pool is open in July and August.
Our region is rich in color: lavender, sunflowers and flavor: artisanal meats, wines, nougats.
You can discover the Provencal markets in the surrounding villages, that of Nyons (30km) is a must.
A few km away you will have the pleasure of discovering our hilltop villages, the Château de Mme de Sévigné in Grignan and for bicycle lovers the famous Mont Ventoux is 1 hour 30 minutes from the house.
You can spend a day at the sea, the nearest seaside resort is 1 hour 30 minutes from the house by motorway.
Many hiking and mountain biking trails start from the village.
It's up to you to invent the rest to have a good weekend, good times, good holidays!
The house is carefully equipped and decorated in the "family spirit" style
You can take your meals on one of the two terraces and enjoy a small enclosed garden well appreciated for its freshness in summer.
Under the terrace, there is a sheltered place for the storage of bicycles, strollers as well as a wash-house, a fridge / freezer in addition to that of the kitchen and a WC

Tolles Haus in Supergegend

Das war ein wirklich schöner Urlaub, die Drome Provencale ist eine wunderbare Gegend die uns allen super gut gefallen hat. Das Ferienhaus in Portes en Valdaeinr ist perfekt mit seinen zwei Terassen der perfekt eingerichteten Küche, dem schönen Wohnzimmer und vor allem den zwei Fahrrädern die zum Haus gehören - über die haben wir uns ganz besonders gefreut. Brigitte - die Gastgeberin - ist super sympathisch und unkompliziert, ein Vergnügen sie kennen zu lernen. Sie ist sehr hilfsbereit und großzügig. Fazit : Immer wieder gerne nach Portes en Valdaine.

Agréable maison de village

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la communication très facile avec Brigitte, les petites attentions à l'arrivée, le fait que les 2 chambres (communicantes avec la salle de bain) soient grandes avec une bonne literie, la facilité pour se garer et la terrasse parfaite pour le petit déjeuner. Merci encore pour l'accueil et les livres apportés pour mon petit garçon !

Excellent séjour chez Brigitte

Nous avons passé 5 nuits très agréables dans cette maison. Brigitte est une hôte adorable et prévenante, la maison est très bien située pour qui a envie de découvrir la Drôme provençale et surtout elle est très bien équipée (lit bébé, séchoir à linge, lave vaisselle, lave linge, cuisine très bien équipée). Il n'y a vraiment rien à redire : c'était parfait pour un séjour en famille. NB : parce que c'est important pour nous, je me dis que ça le sera peut être pour d'autres : en tant que famille homoparentale, nous avons été très bien accueilli.e.s.
