Central Oslo: Modern four-bedroom flat in quiet and charming neighbourhood

Superb for families: A comfortable renovated appartement with four spacious bedrooms with double beds, a spacious living room/kitchen area, a modern bathroom and an additional separate toilet. The flat is located in a very quiet street in a lovely neighboorhod close to the Bislet Olympic Stadium in Central Oslo, a two-minute walk from the airport shuttle stop and town buses and five minute-walk to the city trams. The hub and bustle of Karl Johan street, the King´s castle and our National Theatre are a 15-minute walk away, the upmarket shopping street Bogstadveien a 10-minute walk. The famous Frognerparken, with the Vigeland installation and all its large statues including the Angry Boy and the monolith, is a 30-minute walk (trams and buses are also an option).
The area around our flat is laden with small shops, charming cafés and restaurants with food from all over the world. We love the location, and hope you will too.
Our favorite small park in Oslo, St Hans Haugen, is only a three-minute walk away, with a lovely view from the top. You can enjoy the lovely pastry shops, eateries and cafés along the park.
An extra air mattress can be installed in the living room for two extra guests, but beware there is only one shower, but two toilets.

Great property!

We are a family of 7 ages 12-74. The house was perfect for all of us. The bathroom had 2 sinks with plenty of counter space. There were ample towels, washcloths and linens. The kitchen was stocked with basic needs and the washer and dryer worked beautifully. We were just a few minutes walk from metros, bus and tram. It was a beautiful city and this house was perfect to eat, stay and enjoy the city.

Lovely property!

This wonderful property has high ceilings and wonderful old world charm. It is located in a very central part of Oslo close to public transit and to a variety of the city’s most famous sights. I highly recommend this property!

Paradise in paradise

Getting to the property with public transit from the airport is very doable as the property is located by several bus and tram lines that operate with good frequency.Check-in instructions were very clear and handy - we loved that our party of 3 could do our own things if needed since we could all individually access the property. Freezer wasn't working, but for that the hosts had provided a mini-freezer which worked just fine.The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful with easy access to great restaurants, cafes, and transit.

It was a very nice property! It was super clean, roomy, and comfortable. It was generally quiet. There were small children living upstairs who liked to tromp on the floor above. That generally wasn't a problem and it didn't happen ovenight. It was a bit annoying when trying to nap (we are all over 60). The kitchen was extremely well-equipped and we used it a lot. The oven needs cleaning out because it was smoky when I turned it on to pre-heat. Overall, a very good experience and great location.

Perfect location - and lovely apartment

We had a nice stay in Oslo, and it was a perfect location - near by centrum in Oslo - walking distance. It could be a little problem parking our car nearby the apartment - but that is how it is in a big city. Overall we had a perfect holiday in Oslo and enjoyed our stay in the appartment.

Excellent Apartment!

We three longtime friends stayed at this apartment for eight days visiting a friend who lived nearby. We were fortunate to find this property. It provided clean, comfortable and modern furnishings. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Having a washer/dryer in the apartment was an added bonus. Also, it was close to two bus stops and the stop to get the airport bus. Two restaurants were just up the street and cafes for morning treats were just a couple blocks away. We all enjoy staying at this apartment and would certainly return.

Good sized apartment in a great central location for Oslo city centre. Close to local supermarkets, restaurants and a great little bakery and coffee shop. Good availability of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery. We had a technical problem with the hob and the owner got in touch with us within an hour and was very helpful. The beds were really comfortable and everything was very clean. I would recommend travelling from the airportbuying a weeks pass for the buses, trams and trains and to download the ruter app for stops and timetables. We really had a very good time.

Excellent stay; cumbersome check in and out

Four adults, four bedrooms….perfect. Everything was great EXCEPT check in procedure was difficult and cumbersome. Our phones did not work in Norway, key pick up was complicated and five blocks away, did not know the area, and low tech older tenants. Grandson picked up keys and Odd Paulsen helpful in planning to leave keys in unit. Otherwise, unit was perfect for our needs.

Overall good

The size and layout was ideal for our group. The kitchen and bedrooms are as shown. Comfortable dining and living room space. Quiet building. Thankfully, only a couple of stairs in mezzanine to access the suite. We did have the following issues: - Freezer did not work (owner indicated note was on fridge, but this was not apparent and we had some food spoil) - For 4 adults, we were initially left only 4 bath and 4 small towels. Extra towels, bath mats were provided promptly upon request - Kitchen and bath supplies were very limited (unusual for VRBO) - we supplied cooking oil, body wash, and coffee for 2 of the days, etc. - Outlets in one of the bedrooms went out when breaker tripped - Front door would randomly 'bing' to indicate it wasn't locked - not really an issue, but it was odd.

Fantastic Easter Family trip

We had a Wonderful stay here with our family. Total of 7 adults and the apartment was perfect for us and well equipped. Nice and clean also! The location was perfect for shopping, cafes, restaurants and getting transportation. We all bought a weekly pass for public transportation and the stops are right outside a block or so. Extremely convenient and the coop grocery store was nice and we liked the bbque restaurant right beside it also which is crazy because we are from the North Carolina, eating barbecue in Norway. We all laughed about. Was delicious:) We hosted a dinner at the apartment and found there was ample dishes and supplies in the kitchen to entertain. ( we stayed over Easter so Norway was shut down for some days with shopping and groceries for) We were able to have friends and family over and it was a nice apartment size for this . Our stay was very nice and safe and can’t think of anything I would change. We did mess up key process pick up after 24 hours of traveling this was our fault not the owners instructions. We just went to the wrong entrance of building and after wrong deli de Luca. Lol we were tired!! It is a perfect place for family and friends, We would definitely stay here again

Séjour inoubliable

Es war quasi wie zuhause

Die Lage ist toll. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kommt man schnell überall hin. Parken mit einem Auto ist nicht ratsam, da es in dem gesamten Wohngebiet kostenpflichtig ist. Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss und gut geschnitten. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden - Küchenutensilien sowie Badeartikel. Sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Die Sauberkeit ist gut, allerdings war der Backofen nicht ganz so akkurat geputzt. Das wäre das einzige, das nicht perfekt war. Der Check In war erst nicht ganz so klar mit der Sharbox, aber als die SMS kam, war alles nachvollziehbar. Insgesamt eine schöne Unterkunft, zentral gelegen und liebevoll eingerichtet. Gerne wieder und eine Empfehlung von uns ☺️

Ruhige, geräumige Wohnung im EG

Das hübsch eingerichtete Appartement ist gut zu finden. Etwas mühsam ist, dass der Schlüssellkasten doch mind. 5-8 Geh-Min. weit weg ist (v.a. wenn man spät Abends ankommt)! Aber die Lage ist ruhig und doch zentral, die Strassenbahnen/Busse sind gut erreichbar. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und man findet in der gut ausgestatteten Küchenzeile alles Nötige sofort. Gerne werden wir dieses Appartement wieder buchen - also wirklich empfehlenswert!👍
