Cabool Lake View Country Getaway

Black Kettle Inn is a secluded country farm house with a beautiful 4-acre lake view. The view can be enjoyed from the patio or fire pit area. Or stay comfortable indoors with smart TV's, a fully equipped kitchen with seating for up to twelve and comfy, modern decor. Three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, laundry room, full kitchen and kitchenette, WiFi, Roku and DVD player. Home sleeps up to 10 people. Area activities include hiking, fishing, hunting, floating, golfing and bicycling. Also a drive-in theater, a local brewery and several historical mills in the area. Outdoor area would be a lovely setting for a small group event (wedding, family or class reunion). Home can be rented by levels, for example, main level sleeps 6 with a full kitchen, master bedroom/bath, and 1/2 bath ($175 per night; 3 night minimum or prior approval plus cleaning and security deposit). Lower level also sleeps 6, kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths ($150 per night; 3 night minimum or prior approval plus cleaning and security deposit)

Fantastic house, fantastic host! Donna was great to work with. We are from a big, busy city and the quietness of the house and location was such a nice change. The property was absolutely beautiful! I really wish we didn't have to leave. There were geese by the lake and they had 5 babies, it was great watching them swim around with the parents. So peaceful.

The home and private lake were awesome . Everyone caught at least one fish! This place exceeded our expectations! The attention to detail showed. We did not lack for anything. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a great secluded place to get away with family or friends. We hope to get back and spend more than a few days.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

The Black Kettle Inn was a wonderful place to stay that I highly recommend. We only stayed on the top floor, but it was very spacious with more than enough room. The house was well cleaned with everything you would need. Definitely one of the more comfortable beds we have slept in. The bathroom was perfect with how spacious it was.The view of the lake from the sun room was our favorite part of the stay. Weather did not go as planned with rain & colder than normal temperatures, but we still very much enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

Beautiful Property

Beautiful country setting overlooking a very large pond on the back patio. Extremely large and nicely maintained yard. The home is beautifully furnished, very clean has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful get away with friends or family. Our grandkids were very impressed with the property too. (teenagers) We are already planning our next stay. This is the nicest VRBO home I've stayed in and I've stayed in several. The owner is also very quick to respond to any questions you may have.

Cabool Gem

What an absolutely amazing property! Beautiful multi-level house with lots of room to spread out. Super clean with every amenity one could possibly think of. But the real gem was outside! This unassuming farmhouse sits on multiple acres overlooking a stunning and very well-manicured pond and native woods as the backdrop. We spent every evening of our 3-night stay on the back patio area soaking up the peaceful tranquility that this amazing property had to offer. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay and will most definitely be back!! Thank you again to Donna and her husband for providing such a wonderful home!

One of the nicest places we have ever rented. Pictures are accurate, but don't do it justice. Perfect for a big family group. Gorgeous location, quiet and private. Huge yard. Amazingly well equipped kitchen. Everything immaculate, including the garage! So many thoughtful touches: throws to keep you warm, actual boxes of Kleenex, plenty of linens, etc, etc, etc ... even a basket of snacks! Grocery store about a mile up the road. Huge closets. Anyway ... just really really nice. Wonderful host ... very responsive. No problems at all. You will love it.

Beautiful, cozy home

We loved staying at the Black Kettle Inn! The setting is so peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the swing, watching the geese come and go on the pond. Great yard all around it. The house has been beautifully remodeled with some great design features. It was clean and comfortable, and well stocked. Plenty of room for our group of six adults. We would love to come visit again!

Three nights in Cabool

This place is the best! The house has been remodeled and decorated beautifully. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are separated upstairs and downstairs, so everyone has their own space. The back yard with the lake is really special. We didn't get to fish, but the sunrises were awesome. You even have use of the two car garage. Great place!

Charming getaway that has it all

Our family didn’t know what to expect when arriving at The Black Kettle Inn, but the minute we pulled up to the gorgeous property we were blown away. The home is huge and has room for lots of people. The workmanship of the home and decorations are gorgeous too. The homeowners have left you everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The lake and outside area was our favorite part of the property to sit and gaze at each morning.

Fourth of the July weekend away

The Black Kettle Inn exceeded our expectations! The house was absolutely stunning along with the property. Donna and Doug were super caring, very helpful, and answered any questions that we had. The property was super well maintained and everything was very clean and kept up with. Plenty of room for outdoor and indoor activities. We had 10 guest stay and there was more than enough room for all of us. It was the perfect place for a little weekend get away. We most definitely plan on going back!

By far the best place I've been !

It ia a fantastic property, Donna is such an amazing host , very accurate on what is listed the view is breathtaking , cleanliness is at its peak. Would definitely recommend this place .
