Spacious Villa with Pool Overlooking Vineyards

Our Mediterranean style Villa is set in 2.5 acres of land with pretty landscaped gardens, separate pool area and a small fruit orchard. The Villa is fully equipped for family living and provides modern and spacious accommodation for 8 people. The main living areas all open on to the sun terrace which runs across the front and side of the Villa - providing an ideal spot for outdoor dining and entertaining.
A new 7m covered terrace, with large teak table, at the rear of the Villa allows for eating in the shade. The Villa has been extended with a 50m2 dining, living and family room opening out onto a new sun terrace.

The Woodland area provides welcome shade during the heat of the day and quiet spots for one to sit and admire the beautiful views of the vineyards and the snow capped tips of the distant Pyrenees…

The salt water pool (10m x 5m) and summer kitchen are situated on their own landscaped terrace area below the villa. The Villa is secluded and has electric security gates and extensive outdoor lighting making it safe and secure for all guests. The village of Verzeille is a short walk away, with a fantastic butcher who also sells bread and croissants and other groceries. There are many restaurants and small shops in the neighbouring villages.

Suitable for all...: Our Villa will provide a holiday haven for you whether you are a family with children, a group looking for adventure and new experiences or simply those of you wanting a quiet, tranquil place to soak up the sun or sit in the shade. Even those of you looking for a new place to Ski are catered for as the ski resorts of the Pyrenees and Andorra are only a 1 1/2 hr drive away. Or why not try and overnight trip to Barcelona or visit the Costa Brava?

We love spending time here and have not yet run out of new things to see and do...

From Historic sites to bustling market towns: With the Medieval Cite of Carcassone, a world heritage site, on your doorstep and the Cathar country next door this is a perfect location for those of you who love to explore the history of different areas.

Explore the traditional markets at Castelnaudray, Mirepoix and Carcassone for a taste of real France or visit Limoux and taste the famous 'Blanquette de Limoux'.

Alternatively take a trip on a boat along the Canal du Midi the list of things to see and do is endless....

A 40 minute drive will see you in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Alets les Bains is where the white water rafting companies operate from. A range of water sport activities are offered for all abilities and tastes.

The area is also a Mecca for cyclists. Both Limoux and Carcassonne have hosted stage starts and finishes of the Tour de France. There are some wonderful mountain bike trails from the villa and the road cycling caters for all abilities.
