Bahia Mar #112 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condominium located on the beach! Bahia Mar has resort-style amenities including two newly remodeled tropical pool areas, two inviting hot tubs, two tennis courts, a private beach access, a playground for kids, and a beachfront sundeck with seating to relax while listening to the waves and feeling the cool ocean breeze. Great location on the northern side of the island, walking distance to lots of local attractions including Sea Turtle Inc, and Claytons, the largest beach bar in Texas!

A fully stocked kitchen provides all the essential cookware and appliances for making delicious home-cooked meals while on vacation. The living room features a flat-screen TV and a private patio overlooking the tropical grounds at Bahia Mar and the Gulf of Mexico! Sit back with morning coffee or evening cocktails and enjoy the salty breeze and ocean waves! The master bedroom features a Queen size bed and a flat-screen TV. The master has access to the private patio and offers views of the beautiful Bahia Mar grounds as well. It's the perfect place for a little rest & relaxation! The master bedroom also has an attached private bathroom with a combination bathtub/shower. Four additional guests can be accommodated in the guestroom equipped with two Queen size beds and a flat-screen TV. A shared guest bathroom entails a combination bathtub/shower.

So close to the beach and very clean.

Feedback

The unit obviously wasn't ready. All we were told was to wait for that time when you knew that it was having issues. We could have been offered an alternate unit if the AC was still being repaired instead of making us wait until 4:00pm. You did have other units available. I've rented from many places on the island and we've never been made to wait until 4:00pm. The unit smelled musty, especially the bathrooms, because of the lack of AC. I had to spray and use Lysol. The ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom didn't work. The furniture needs updating. Yes, you offered another fan, but it was too loud. The porthole window in the bedroom needs blinds. Light came in all night that I had to put a towel on a hangar just to try to keep too much from coming in.

Out of date and dirty and not in a fun beach way

This place is in a great location but it was so filthy. When we first got there and were unloading, our feet we’re already black. There were used old contacts stuck to the floor of the main bedroom and the shower curtain, which was too long so it was 6inches into the tub was disgusting. The appliances are out of date and the dishwasher doesn’t work (which SPI rentals immediately offered to send someone out to fix- no complaints with SPI Rentals at all.) the fridge would barely keep things frozen, the oven seemed like it only cooked broiler style, and the ceiling fan in the living room wasn’t working. I don’t recommend this place unless you’re staying for a couple of days at the beach and you need a crash pad. Order takeout bc cooking there was almost impossible.
