Great little cottage in a quiet corner of PEI. It was clean and well equipped - appreciated the mosquito coils for sitting out on the porch in the evening.
Perfect cottage getaway for my daughter and I before she heads off to University. Very cozy and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lots of little touches and a nice beach vibe. We loved it and will recommend!
A wonderful piece of heaven—so quiet and relaxing. All the amenities anyone could ask for. We enjoyed a delicious homemade lobster dinner because everything was provided that we’d need. Will definitely come back to stay!
We never had to drive far to get to one of the many beaches nearby. The property had everything we needed and more. The birds and wildlife were one of the many highlights.
Absolutely beautiful! So quiet and full of wildlife. The cottage was clean and charming. The bed was to comfortable. I could sit and listen to the sounds of nature all day while looking over the cape. Will definitely stay again!
This little cottage was perfect for our family and a great location for exploring the north cape. Kitchen was fully equipped and great for cooking our own meals. We would stay here again for sure!
Such a great place, everything you could possibly need in a compact space. Great for exploring Western PEI. Atticus enjoyed the wide open lawn to chase his ball and we enjoyed the view.
A very beautiful, relaxing location. The cottage was fully equipped and so well stocked with everything we could imagine or ever need on a stay.
Loved the view from the covered deck of the water and the local animal life {rabbits, squirrels and several species of birds including a couple of raptors.
The Crooked Cottage was exactly what we needed. It was very cute and comfortable and very convenient for us to travel to and from our newly purchased vacant property in the area. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay.
The cottage was a great place to stay and relax and unwind. Great ambience. It’s well provisioned for summer with lots of cookware, bedding, candles, bbq ietc. and is located on a lovely piece of property above the red sandstone cliffs. Other than challenging cell coverage (but good WiFi) it was a great place to stay.
We really liked Crooked Cottage…it was a nice location, vey peaceful and relaxing. The cottage had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. Short drive to a nice beach and grocery stores in both directions. The veranda on the cottage was great…a nice place to sit and soak up the view. The owner Catherine was easily accessible…checked with us to see how things were going…
We would definitely go back as it was a most enjoyable spot.
Property and cottage has everything you need. Pretty ocean lookout spot is a bonus. Wifi and BBQ both worked well. Host was easy to reach and helpful. Looking forward to returning to the Crooked Cottage next time we're out east!!
We had a wonderful stay at the Crooked Cottage and it was the perfect place to just sit and relax or to explore the North Cape. Alberton and Tignish are small towns nearby for all the basics (and also the area hospital). We spent a couple days just enjoying the porch (it was great to start and finish an 550 page book while watching humming birds and bumble bees in the flowers!) and another at the Potato museum and Cedar Dunes beach which were only 40 minutes to an hour away. (Another good beach just 5 minutes away as well.). Catherine was a gracious host with wonderful communication to answer any questions we had. It was simply a perfect retreat. We are already making plans to stay for a full week in 2 years when we visit PEI again!

Very comfortable cottage perfect set up for our needs. We had a bad weather week so we could not enjoy the outside amenities of the cottage. We found plenty of interesting sights and activities to keep us busy. Enjoyed interacting with the locals who often seemed to become instant friends. Would definitely return!
It was great .. we should have taken a screen shot ( or written down ) the code to enter because initially we couldn’t access our email due to data signal .. but shortly after signal came through and we got in !we learned a lesson It would have been nice to have a bit larger kitchen table
