Chateau XVIII: Pool, Tennis, and Billiards. 90 minutes from Paris

Former hunting lodge of François 1st, the Château de la Cantée is located on a private property in the heart of the Sologne forest. About 30 km from Chambord or Cheverny and 150km from Paris. Quiet, Nature, beautiful residence with modern comfort with heatable swimming pool (extra charge requested), tennis, billiards and children's games. Wonderful to meet with friends or family with or without children to rest, work or celebrate an important event in a small group. Access limited to 15 people.
This is a family home with neighbours, it is requested not to make any noise at night or during the day.

We spent an absolutely magical weekend at the Château de la Cantée! The place is sublime: a magnificent castle decorated with great taste, rooms all spacious and bright, a large superb dining room ideal for large dinners, a living room with a super cosy fireplace... Each room is spacious and comfortable and has a special character, and many have a bathroom. Everything is perfectly modern, equipped and very comfortable (and well heated!!). The castle is surrounded by a large estate ideal for walks or jogging. A place that I would recommend a thousand times for a royal interlude with friends or family!
A wonderful moment in a place that is both classy and simple, functional and rich in history, in which you feel at home, even when you have never lived there! Highly recommend or keep as a precious secret, lurking deep in the woods.
