Beautiful Coop Cottage overlooking vineyards. Three minutes from downtown!

Coop Cottage is perfect for six guests who want to stay on a sweet 15-acre vineyard in a prime location near wineries and restaurants. Coop is just 1.5 miles from Healdsburg Plaza...3-minutes in the car or walk it in 20-minutes. Incredible location, great value and gated privacy in a fresh farmhouse overlooking estate vineyards. The view from the hot tub is perfect.

Ru's Farm is a wedding site and we typically host weddings on weekends from 3pm-9pm May through November.

The Coop Cottage has 2 king bedrooms with organic Coyochi bedding, each with their own beautifully designed bathrooms with rain head showers. There is also a cozy (tiny) third bedroom with a queen bed and half bath.

Fully-equipped kitchen & gas grill so you can dine in. Enjoy meals on the deck and watch the sunset on the vineyards or linger in a relaxing hot tub and soak under a blanket of stars. Interested in bringing a chef in? Ask Lele

Healdsburg is a friendly small town. There are many local wineries just .5 miles away, as is the Russian River and canoe rentals to add to your adventures. Truly the wine country experience. We always remind guests to make reservations for wineries and eateries ahead of time.

Please note quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am. Parking available for up to 3 vehicles.
We are a working farm with trucks and tractors in our vineyards throughout the year.
We have landscape maintenance on Wednesdays and Fridays 9am - 3pm.

We just completed our stay at Ru’s Farm. Absolutely beautiful wedding in a picturesque vineyard. We stayed in the cottage on the venue called “The Coop”. It was wonderfully situated close to wedding activities and comfort and charm abound!! We didn’t want to leave. Kristen was our contact during our stay and I don’t think I have recently experienced a more personable and responsive person, dedicated to making our stay wonderful. It was clear that Kristen was truly happy for my son and daughter in law and wanted everything to be perfect for our stay. We happily give Ru’s Farm a 5 star rating for a truly beautiful experience.

Wonderful vineyard setting. We calling it the white cottage. Very clean and comfy and spacious. Nice for bride to get ready for event. Owner responded very quickly and correct issue. We did not bring it up; assuming water pressure was very low most of visit. Maybe area issue? Overall 5 stars

Peace in the vineyards

This is the perfect place to stay if you want the quiet beauty of the vineyards but the proximity to downtown. Since we were a group of two couples it was really lovely to have two ensuites with king beds. Don’t forget your swimsuit as it’s nice to take advantage of the hot tub, especially at sunset with a glass of wine in your hand.

Beautiful vineyard setting!

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. The beds were super comfortable and the linens top notch! The kitchen was wonderfully appointed and our host's responsiveness was great. The location was perfect! Such a short distance to downtown and many of our chose winery visits. We would definitely stay again!

Annual wine country retreat

The cottage is perfect for two couples. It was clean, Kristen was great to work with and was responsive to any questions we had and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. The views from the deck into the vineyards were stunning! This is a location that has events. We were advised well in advance there would be a wedding on the property and that we would hear music and speeches until 9 p.m. As promised, the event ended at 9 and everything went immediately quiet. The location is really close to downtown Healdsburg which we also appreciated. We would stay here again.

Memorial Day Wedding

We used Ru's Farm for the wedding venue which happened to have this wonderful VRBO attached to the property. The setting and amenities were outstanding. The bride and her attendants were the primary guests at the cottage and it worked out perfectly. We could not have asked for anything better.

Fabulous Stay at the Coop Cottage

We had a fabulous time during our 10 day stay in the Coop Cottage at Ru's Farm. Lele, our host, was absolutely wonderful! She was on top of every request and gave us excellent recommendations regarding activities and restaurants. The cottage is beautiful just like the photos on the listing page. It is perfect for two couples as it has two large bedrooms with king beds and ensuite baths. There is also a third very small bedroom with a queen and 1/2 bath. We will be back!!!!

Relaxing in the Coop

This is our family’s favorite place to stay and our happy place in all of wine country. We have booked the Coop multiple times with always gracious and prompt response from the owners. Even the farm cats are friendly! We were pleasantly surprised with hydrangeas from the garden, fresh picked strawberries, and farm fresh eggs courtesy of ru’s farm. It is a wonderful home away from home.

Great cottage for girls weekend in wine country

Myself and six high school girlfriends really enjoyed our stay at The Coop in Healdsburg. Lele was very responsive throughout the stay and even came by when we had an issue with the lock (user error!). The house was clean and comfortable and the views on the property are beautiful! It was a little further from the downtown area than we would have liked, but we were able to Lyft and Uber every night. I highly recommend!

Beautiful Setting, charming cottage

This was a great place to stay for easy access to Healdsburg and the surrounding area. We were there for 13 days (much longer than the usual stay) and loved it. The property manager was great - she made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The deck outside was lovely, and the cottage was bright and comfortable. A few notes for people considering it: 1) don't assume you will walk into town. While it can be done, much of it is on a somewhat busy road with no shoulder, so it is not a particularly enjoyable walk. It is, however, an easy and very quick drive in. Or, if you have bikes, you can bike into town. 2) The bedrooms are as described. Two are equal masters, but one is small, so I wouldn't be likely to have 3 couples there, especially for more than a few nights.

Charming Home on Beautiful Property

Having our wedding at Ru's Farm was a dream. It was love at first sight, we knew immediately after stepping on the grounds that this was our place. It's beautiful and charming in a way that photos barely capture, but that's just the start of it. Lele, the venue owner was a joy to work with. We could tell how much love and care she puts into the space and that working with her would be the opposite of the cookie cutter, corporate experience we've experienced at other popular venues. She provided a thorough tour of the space, a really helpful preferred vendors list, and other wonderful tips and tricks. All the preferred vendors were top tier, and it ended up saving us a ton of time and we were guaranteed a high quality end to end experience. Other key benefits of Ru's: 1. The venue is available the entire wedding day which provides a lot of flexibility 2. There is a beautiful, 3-bedroom cottage on the properties that was perfect for getting ready 3. Unlike vineyards, this property has all the perks of a vineyard (oversees a vineyard) but also allows all types of alcohol (not just beer and wine) 4. The design of the space and the transition between different phases of the day (ceremony, reception, dancing, etc) was seamless This venue is a rare treasure, I would certainly suggest snatching a date before they are all gone. Ru's Farm will always hold a special place in our hearts and we hope to be able to revisit it in a few years to try to relive the beautiful memories.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend at Ru's Farm, and it was truly perfect in every way. Location is everything -- we are 1 1/2 miles from Healdsburg Plaza. Guests enjoy nearby wineries, Healdsburg plaza, great restaurants, canoeing down the river, golfing, and near perfect weather. Guests are invited to walk through the estate private vineyards.

Staying in a private home with friends or family gives you privacy and togetherness that can't be found in hotels or B&Bs filled with other people. Many guests become regulars and stay here again and again. Healdsburg is a wonderful town that has a special place in the hearts of so many people.
