Our Waterfront camp is 1650 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. She is fully furnished and can accommodate 8 guests. She sits 20 feet off the ground above a concrete slab which gives you the ability to enjoy the outside as much as the inside. Whether it's a crawfish boil, a barbecue, or just simply sitting out on the porch! Our customers also enjoy all the bounty that the South Louisiana Marsh has to offer. If your passion is chasing Red Fish and Speckled Trout or Duck and Hog Hunting you’re sure to enjoy yourself! Spot in boat house to park waterfront.

Plaquemines Parish Paradise

Exceptionally clean fish camp with comfortable beds, large TV w/ cable and boat slip. Great fishing and access to large waters. The owner and family could not be more accommodating and are close by for anything may need. The hospitality was truly remarkable. We will be back!

Awesome place in a sportsman’s paradise

The place was clean, well designed, and had everything a sportsman would want. From the deck high above the marsh to the fish cleaning station with fresh water to rinse fillets, this place was well thought out and a great choice in lodge. The owner was eager to offer advice and locations to catch the fish we were after. Will stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy the beautiful marsh of south Louisiana.

Big Red Trip

We had a great stay. The house and all the accommodations were perfect for our fishing group. House was spotless clean. Beds very comfortable. Big 72” TV was a plus. Utilized the boat lift which made it really easy to dock our boat each day. The owner John was very accommodating and even provided some of his favorite fishing spots. We will definitely be back to chase some more Redfish.

Another Great Jul 4th

This was our 3rd year we spent at the camp. We had a blast! The fishing was great and a neighbor down the street put on a great fireworks show as well. Looking forward to doing the same next year! Can’t wait!

Great getaway and fishing camp in Port Sulphur

The house was everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. There are 9 single beds and they are very comfy. The house is very neat and clean and comes with 2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer. The view over the Marsh is really nice as well. Especially at sunset. If you bring kayaks, the channel is great for a trip. I hope to be back soon!

Another great fishing trip to Happy Jack

This was our second trip to this property. John is quick to get back to you on any issues and even helped us find a guide one day. Property is clean and well-stocked for everything you need at fish camp. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for base camp while redfishing on the bayou.

Awesome Fishcamp

John’s place was awesome to stay at for a week for fishing the Marsh. The camp was well put together, new furnishings and great amenities. John was very accommodating during our stay and responsive to any questions we had. He even went to the trouble to make sure we had a blender when we asked about it. Fishing out of Port Sulphur was great too! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful camp with all the comforts of home. Due to the weather, we were unable to fish or utilize the spacious area on the ground level. However, We were able to enjoy the Saints game on the 75” TV. The owner checked on us by phone several times during our stay to see if he could be of any assistance. Overall...Great Stay.

Awesome Waterfront Camp

Brand new camp that sits on the water with lots of space to park your cars and boats in water. The camp is fully stocked, comfortable beds and big screen TV. No internet or cable which was great. Gives you more time to spend with your family and friends. The owner is great, making sure we had everything we needed and answered all our questions We would definitely be back.

Couldn't Stay Away!

Came down for the 2nd time in a month. Once again, everything was perfect. Very clean and the TV was even upgraded in between visits. Its huge! Grilled dinner on the (provided) grill and enjoyed hanging out on the big bar downstairs while we cooked. Cant wait to get back again soon!
