My family and I stayed here over Easter weekend. It is a beautiful place with plenty of room for everyone. We really enjoyed the screened porch as it rained much of the time we were there. But it has a nice sized clearing around the back of the home which is great for the kids to play. We would definitely go back again.
Plenty of room for the 6 of us and would rent it again.

Just as described!
This was a nice stay! Had everything we need. Nothing fancy, but great space! My only complaint would be that you have to check in at a separate location and drop keys off there, but it’s only a 10 minute drive! I also couldn’t get an email response back from the rental company but they were responsive by phone.

We absolutely LOVED this property. There was ample room for anything and everything we had planned, it was stocked with all the right amenities, and the ambiance was perfect. The kitchen table is BIG and we had more than enough room for everyone, and there were plenty of seats in the living area as well for our party of 7. The water pressure and quality more than met our needs, and the WiFi was more than adequate for a little bit of streaming we had on for the youngest guests. Overall, definitely a 10/10 as far as stays go, we would definitely recommend and would for sure stay again!

This cabin was great for what we wanted it for - a secluded place to host friends for a birthday. The outdoor area was secluded and beautiful. Large furnished fire pit area with plenty of wood! The screened porch was wonderful also. We didn't use the hot tub but we did look and it was very clean. Four spacious bedrooms with 3 bathrooms was perfect for our group of 8. There were plenty of super awesome large towels. One toilet wouldn't flush unless you did it manually in the tank which wasn't a huge deal. The beds weren't super comfortable but they weren't too bad. Could've used more than 2 pillows per bed but again, that wasn't a huge deal. Our main "complaint" is the cabin was very dated. The cabin itself, furniture, and appliances. No dishwasher so you have to do dishes by hand which wasn't awful just good to know. Older, small coffee pot. Everything is just really old. You have to drive to an office to pick up a key which I didn't know was still a thing but that wasn't too bad. Took us about 25 min out of our way so it's not terrible but what I didn't like was I had to bring the key back to the office Sunday morning. But everything was super clean and the hosts were always very pleasant and helpful. The cabin was perfect as our hangout spot and we had a GREAT time! Large, clean, secluded, and has everything you need. If it was updated a little more and a little more comfortable it'd be 5 stars easy!!! Our complaints aren't really complaints, just things to be aware of.

This is an amazing cabin for family get togethers! Plenty of beds, clean and amazing screened in porch! Feels very private and secluded. The driveway is very steep, if you have 4WD it’s easy but takes a few times with 2WD.
We rented the Elm Lodge for a family Christmas getaway. The property was very clean, decorated for Christmas and we were able to sleep 10 people comfortably. There is no Wifi at this location but we didn't miss it--even the kids and teens adapted quickly and we had a great time together. It was a great experience and we will definitely be going back!

Overall great place. Only questionable thing was the driveway so as long as you don’t plan on leaving and coming back multiple times a day it wouldn’t be a big issue

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We do have several cabins with very "hilly" driveways, especially here in Brown County. We do try to let guest know if you booked one with steep gravel driveways. We do look forward to you booking with us for your next visit.
We gathered to have an intimate wedding ceremony with only our adult children. The house was the perfect size for us and the beautiful setting allowed for family photos. All in all, it exceeded our expectations. Do believe them when they say the driveway is steep! We did not have any trouble but could be a surprise if not expecting.

We loved it, but really did to speak up more on that driveway. WOW. Love the place, great screened in porch. Curtains on the large glass door down stairs. Overall it was very accommodating for our needs.

Thank you for being wonderful guests, and for staying with us. It is hard to explain the driveway but steep it is! We look forward to you booking with us again soon.
This cabin was perfect for 6 adults and 3 ten year olds. Our family Christmas present was to spend time together which we hadn't been able to for several years.

ProIt is as described and things to bring. Excellent location to Nashville and BTown for Graduation. Over all had great time. Very pieceful. Would do again with whole large familyConDidn’t know about relative steep gravel drive. Some family members real nervous on first drive up.. Rainy made it worse and slickAll the window crank knobs we’re broke which made closing extremely difficult.

We are so glad your graduation weekend was a good one. Thank you for staying with us. We look forward to you booking your next visit with us.
The cabin was quiet, clean, and cozy, perched atop a quiet hill. Great location too. Close to Nashville, and a fairly simple drive to Bloomington largely on gravel roads leading to 46. The cabin's wifi worked well, which was an unexpected bonus. If I was looking for downside, I'd say the kitchen could be better stocked.
Overall a great stay- location is perfect and good common space for a group! The futons are not really realistic for adults to sleep on, we had some very sore people by the end of the weekend, although they may be fine for kids. I thought it was strange we had to bring our own paper towel and there was no dish soap. However, we would come back again! Driveway was not too bad, just have to go for it.

The cabin itself was great. We had a group of friends meet up for a weekend getaway and play board games. Good times were had. Beds were great. Water presswas amazing. The only complaint about the weekend and reason we would not choose this site again is the steep driveway. It was a challenge for all to go up the driveway - some couldnt do it. It seemed as if they had fresh gravel put down recently which just made it worse. Again, very good cabin for our needs.

We are 55-65 y.o. and the terrain was a bit rough. Door to the lower level needs to open out, not in. Need more lamps in bedrooms. Hot tub cover had black mold or something on the underside of the cover. Not usable. Screened porch the best!!

We are very sorry you had issues with the driveway. We do try to let guest know how it is on a steep hill. We will pass onto owner that the mattresses need looked into for renewal. Hopefully you were able to have an enjoyable stay.
This was the first year we decided to celebrate Christmas as a whole family - our adult children, sister and brother-in-law, aunt and mother-in-law. It was a wonderful experience! There were 9 of us. The cabin fit us well. We had plenty of room to play games as a group or spread out between the screened porch, hot tub and lower level with the pool table.
Thank you for helping create a wonderful family memory and start of a new tradition!
We stayed in Elm Lodge three nights during an intense rain event. Flooding everywhere in the Nashville area including in our cabin. Management was amazing! They found us another cabin to check in to but the roads were closed due to flooding so we stuck it out. With a shop vacuum and manpower, we kept the water at bay for the first night and by the next morning, it had stopped completely! An act of nature did not damper our trip! This is a wonderful cabin! Well supplied, lovely grounds and view and adequate room for our party of twelve. Beds and futons need to be updated but they served their purpose. Firewood is provided for both the fireplace and fire pit - a huge plus! Be aware that the drive to the cabin is steep but manageable and you navigate many gravel roads to get there but it is well worth it!We would definitely stay here again. Management was in constant communication and went above and beyond taking good care of us.
