Historic mansion

In city centre Conches, a quiet medieval town in the Pays d’Ouche region, a beautiful facade… Step through the magnificent oak door and you’ll find yourself immersed in history. The former 16th-century provost’s residence has been combined with the Hôtel de Fougy (17th century). In the cellars, you’ll still find two dungeons, an armoury, and the crypt of the 11th-century church. The house, built entirely of half-timbering and cob, has been beautifully restored.

Large garden with a barbecue, 300 m² of living space, 5 double bedrooms (3 of which have a shower and toilet), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, plus 3 extra beds. Dining room for 14 people, living room with a very large fireplace, 1 large bathroom (tub + shower) in addition to the 3 en-suite showers.
Large 30 m² kitchen: Dishwasher, steam oven, gas range, range hood, refrigerator-freezer, washing machine, and dryer. Sheets, towels, dishes, and firewood provided. 5 bikes on-site.

Right behind the house, every Thursday morning, there’s a market you won’t want to miss! Lac de la Noe is 10 km away for swimming; Etang de la Bonne Touche is 3 km away for fishing; and the arboretum and Parc de la Forge along the Rouloir (a small river that flows through Conches) are a 5-minute walk away. Forests, equestrian centre, biking, hiking, fishing, tennis, mini-golf—all just a short walk from city centre.
