Built in 1861, this charming row home is located on a quiet street in the Historic District. This spacious one bedroom getaway is perfect for a couple looking to explore the rich history of Savannah, or a traveling single.

Enter your property via electronic lock, and forget the hassle of carrying keys! Stepping inside you'll be pleasantly surprised by the tall ceilings and the amount of natural light. The living room offers a plush grey sofa, arm chair and flat screen television, perfect for those who have their own Netflix or Hulu accounts! A dedicated dining space to enjoy home-cooked meals can be found just adjacent to the living room. Walking down the hall, guests will find the spacious and open kitchen that offers granite countertops, plenty of prep space and a full size washer/dryer thats tucked away. At the back of the home just outside of the bedroom, a roomy bathroom with vanity and shower/tub combination. The bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed, hotel grade linens and a television with access to stream your favorite apps. The private patio is just off of the bedroom, and is a private oasis perfect for a morning cup of joe.

This landmark home built for Noble Hardee in 1861 is perfectly situated to explore Savannah’s historic district. This fully renovated cottage has everything you’ll need to enjoy your getaway. The Honey Bee Cottage is in an excellent location-a short walk to Troup Square, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and historic Jones Street, voted one of the prettiest streets in the United States! A short drive or walk puts you on either Broughton Street or River Street where shopping and dining abound-it truly is the ideal location from which to explore Savannah.

The property really had a feeling of home. It had every amenity and comfort of home one could imagine; down to the cozy blankets to snuggle on the sofa with. Located in a very walkable neighborhood, it is easy to fit in like a local. I know because I am from Savannah. I look forward to returning to the Rose Cottage.

Perfect location

We chose his location because it's located on a lovely street within walking distance to River St, groceries ,bars, coffee shops, retail, etc. The property itself is a very nice cottage with front and back porches.

Great Cottage With Wonderful Location

We absolutely loved this cottage! It was clean, had great accomodations, the bed was comfortable and the location was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and only blocks away from points of interest. My only "complaint" was that the TV in the bedroom didn't want to connect to the internet much. So we watched Netflix and whatnot on my laptop in the bedroom almost every night. Other than that, everything was great and we hope to be back again!

Great stay

Great spot in a great location. Very walkable neighborhood. Very clean unit and great communication from the property management. My only complaint was some of the furniture wasn't super comfortable - the couch for example was not comfortable, it was fine but not the type of couch you could curl up on and watch a movie. The patio furniture was also not a place you could spend too much time without getting uncomfortable. Other than that, I highly recommend this unit.

House was nice and close to downtown.

The house could use a little update. Couch had a big drip in the middle. The side porch needs a good cleaning. The tub is tall and could use a grab bar to help getting in and out of tub.

Wedding and birthday

This place was cute and spacious enough for the two of us. Great location for walking and biking downtown. Small courtyard was nice and kept the bikes out of the way and secure. Would consider staying again if tub drain is cleared so tub can drain and you're not standing in water while you take a shower. Side patio also needs to be cleaned as there is some visible mold.

We stayed in this house about 5 years ago. We decided to stay again on our honeymoon since we liked the house and location so much. Then the bed had a new super comfortable memory foam mattress. I believe 5 years later it’s the same mattress. As you can imagine it was not nearly as comfortable. This great house needs a new bed.

The property came just as advertised. It was in a quiet part of the historic district, which we loved. We are in good health and found it easy to walk to nearly all sites of interest to us in the area, including restaurants and shops. It was very hot during our stay and the AC worked great. The bed was comfortable and closet space was more than adequate. The kitchen was very large with lots of counter space. The communication in advance of our stay was great and the information given to us for check-in was easy to follow. We had very minor inconveniences with having to park our vehicle on certain sides of the streets on certain days for street cleaning, but this information is clearly displayed on the street signs. As noted in the listing, we used our own logins for television streaming services, so make sure you bring those with you. Also, as noted, the internet was a bit sketchy at times, but adequate for what we needed. We made a few very minor suggestions to the management company directly that for us, would have made life easier during our stay, but nothing worth mentioning in a review. We loved the property, loved Savannah and would definitely return to the same property if available on a future trip.

We couldn't find our booking information on the drive up and staff were very helpful and responsive. Comfortable king bed and living room. Inside was clean and had all the amenities listed. My only comment is that the back porch was covered in wet leaves and fallen tree branches and was unusable until we cleared everything off. Feel that if a property lists itself as providing a porch, then the porch and its area should be swept and prepared for guests just as the inside is.

Savannah is very walkable and this place ended up to be in a great location. We only used our rental car when it rained or if we were visiting the nearby islands. The cottage was very clean and a great size. Everything was comfortable too. The price was very reasonable compared to other options. There was no problems finding parking right by the cottage. We did the trolley tour our first day which was a great way to get acclimated. We also did a food tour which was fantastic. Other than that, we walked around the city, visited Tybee Island and Hilton Head. Will definitely be back to visit!
