We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is nice and comfortable, the hotpot super. The location is very beautyfull - when you love calm and nature. Not easy without a car, the next smal shop is a 0.5 h drive away.
What a beautiful place. The property is exactly as shown. Maybe even better, breath taking views. Absolutely stunning, clean cabin, hot tub is amazing even at -3. Cannot wait to return.
The lodge was lovely, a beautiful picturesque location on the loch surrounded by walking trails.
The lodge was well equipped, however not as clean as we’d expected. There was someone else’s laundry in some cupboards.
The hot tub was not prepared for arrival and no logs available for use inside.
Bathroom was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
All in all the stay was enjoyable
Was a excellent location, very nice feel in the cabin was small but was enough room for me and 6 mates, only negative of the whole experience was once the power cut out but a quick call to the number provided sorted that since it was just a trip in the fuse box. Hot tub was excellent, took a while to heat up and was hard to regulate temperature but that’s what you expect form a wood burning hot tub.overall great stay would recommend highly
Just got back from a lovely weekend. Location is beautiful and the weather makes it perfect and thankfully was kind to us. Hot tub was great though my husband found it took some skill to keep the fire going but there's maybe a knack to it that makes it a wee bit easier. Cabin has all you need and beds are really comfortable. Really enjoyed it and with having the woods and loch right outside was fantastic. Playground for the kids nice bonus too which is just a few minutes walk from the cabin.
Just spent 3 nights at this great cabin at loch awe. Cabin exactly as described, very clean, had all the utensils you could need, beds were extremely comfortable, cosy log burning fire and the hot tub was lovely. Prompt communication from the manager, easy check in and out process, location near oban so ideal for a day trip. The cabin was secluded and private which was ideal. Would recommend and would stay again
Great property for our Honeymoon. Well stocked with cutlery and cleaning products and nice to see a blu ray player in the set up also. A double room, a bunk room, a twin loft and a sofa bed means if you have an argument or your partner snores you’re not short of places to sleep! Looking forward to our anniversary already.
We had a lovely time, the cabin was beautiful and the location was amazing, my kids loved being a ten minute Forest walk away from the loch

Enjoyable cabin in nature
There were 6 of us at this property which was cozy with all the amenities. A music festival was on when we were there which was excellent and gave us something to do on Friday and Saturday nights (our group likes to party!) The hot tub was a great feature. The room with bunk beds was small and some people might not like the loft bedroom with twin beds. Overall a comfortable stay with lots of nature walks and things to do.

Brilliant May Day weekend in the Burnside Cabin.
Myself and my friends enjoyed the mayday weekend at Burnside cabin and really enjoyed it. Loved the hot tub and the process of getting back to basics and starting the fire yourself to heat up the water. Great location and will definitely be back. All the facilities everyone would want are available in the cabin and great boat trips on the Loch. Thanks Burnside Cabin!

Beautiful, quiet area and well equipped cabin with great views.
We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend in this cabin. It was well equipped and already had many of the little things that you’d forget to pack for a weekend away - washing up liquid, salt and pepper etc. Instructions on using the log burners are all simple and easy to understand. The site is beautiful with paths to local woods. The village is only a 5 minute walk and the locals are all very friendly. Theres plenty of space between cabins so you don’t feel overlooked at all.
The only thing we would change if we came again (and we hope to!) is to pack much more midgie spray!! But even then the lovely housekeeper gave us midgie tips when we collected the keys.
We certainly hope to return in the not so distant future.

Stunning log cabin for a peaceful escape.
Loved the cabin. A place that made us feel at home and relaxed. Each day we found our little adventures in and around the area from hiking the mountains to a boat hire on Loch Awe. Even the dogs were excited every day and got cosy next to the log burner. Highly recommended from us.

Beautiful and cozy cabin, surrounded by the stunning views and nature of Scotland
My husband and I loved our stay at the log cabin. It was so beautiful and creatively designed, everywhere you looked in the cabin there was a nice little quirk, from the wooden features to the retro interiors. It was lovely and cosy, we enjoyed lighting a fire in the log burner each day. The area that the cabin was situated on the site was fab too. We loved hearing the stream flowing by when we opened the windows and slide door, and the view of the trees was so beautiful. It was well presented, clean and tidy. There were plenty of useful things in the kitchen to use for cooking. I can't think of anything that needs improving because it was so wonderful, I want to live in a cabin just like it! We tried the hot tub outside, it was good but I think because of the time of year (October) it was a bit chilly in the evening and It took a long time to heat, so we didn't stay in long and the heat also escaped very quickly. I think it probably needed a lot longer to heat the water fully, especially in colder weather, than the time we gave to try and heat it. I think it would probably be better in summer. I'd love to visit again! Thank you!
